Stratigic use of pictures to advertise. The views on pictures here and on the website are not the views from the rooms or hotel. The hotel is a older hotel but very very clean. It just wasn't what was advertised!!! Had to make the best of my stay but I was a little disappointed.

Went to Prescott, AZ for a girl's weekend to celebrate 60th birthday. The hotel was clean, quiet and friendly. Prices were very reasonable. We were celebrating, so we opted to take a taxi to downtown and the famed Whiskey Row since Uber wasn't an option. $12.00 fare for the 4 of us, however, a 20% coupon from the hotel made it $10 each way, plus tip. Free breakfast in the morning included, eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, juice and coffee. On the weekends a pianist plays while yo... Read more

Well maintained hotel in the upper ranks of places to stay. We had a sudden change of airline schedule, requiring us to check out a day early (two couples and two rooms). The owners were most accommodating in checking us out and seeing that we were only charged for the single night and not for the full planned stay. We have stayed there many times, and the attention and service is always top notch.

We stayed here two nights as we traveled around Arizona. We should have moved on after the first night however. The room was nice but over-priced for the value. In addition, this is a "mom/pop" place and they tried but the owners are older and things just weren't kept up. The pool wasn't open, the areas outside to sit were littered in can, cups and cigarette butts. My wife complained about the trash and they said they had sent someone to pick up the trash. She then took them both outsi... Read more

We decided to get out for weekend visit and stayed one night in the Forest Villas. The hotel is on a hill with some good views/ The room was a little outdated, but clean. Heat and cooling is the typical wall unit, so it can be noisy. Fortunately we didn't really need it because the we used a little heat from the gas fire place. The room space is tight if one person is a early riser. Breakfast was included, but the selections were limited to some scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal packets, d... Read more

We're here now! Lovely reception area with beautiful staircase. Grounds are nicely landscaped. Room is clean and spacious with a large bathtub. Price was at or significantly below comparable hotels in the area of Prescott and Prescott Valley for Memorial Day weekend. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn at Prescott Valley. Last time we were there it was dirty, room walls were banged up in need of paint and the breakfast included was more of a snack. Looking forward to the beverages until 11pm and ... Read more

Annually at least me/forever Friend stay here anytime we visit this lovely neck of woods!!! This IS home away from home! Feeling better here as if in a comfy luxurious castle. Curve descending stairs hearing piano viewing pool/jacuzzi while seating for the sweet start of the days adventures. In past, I lived here so NOW love visiting all seasons to perk up my energy.

The hotel was very clean and the beds were super comfy. The staff we came in contact with was very friendly and professional. I would stay at this hotel again. The price per night was reasonable and it was close to everything we needed to do. We did not use the pool or other amenities as our time was limited. Free Wifi was a bonus!

Loved everything about this hotel. The hotel grounds were beautiful, nice swimming pool, good complimentary breakfast, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Yes, the a/c was a bit noisy but I didn't mind that considering everything else. Will definitely be back!

This is my favorite place to stay at here in Prescott. It's a clean, very charming hotel near enough to downtown and very quiet. We always have great service by the staff. Great breakfast is included with your stay. We will continue staying here for years to come.

The grounds of this hotel have a lot of potential- it's just not realized. For what we paid to stay here- it was not worth it. The rooms are clean, but just very average. The breakfast in the morning was less than average : powdered scrambled eggs- ugh!, doughy bagels, canned peaches for fruit, and packets of instant oatmeal. The coffee was good but only plain creamer available. The pianist who comes on Sunday morning played non descript, background music- you just couldn't tell what the music... Read more

Decided to go to Prescott, Az for the weekend to get pout of the heat. Usually I stay at the Prescott Resort, but for some reason tried out the Forest Villa Hotel. It was clean and the lobby was very pretty. I was surprised there was no snack bar and no restaurant on the grounds. I also felt a lack of security as all the parking in the front was taken and I had to enter from the parking garage which was a little scary. I'm not sue if I would stay again.

This place is truly creepy. First of all: no villas. No forest either, just a hillside overlooking the state hwy. A new clerk checked us in; his manager standing over him, controlling his every move. I've never seen such an unhappy young person trying to do a job. It was so uncomfortable I wanted to apologize for being there. The manager is clearly overcommitted to making sure everything is done exactly as he demands, down to specifically worded greetings and when to hand the credit card back to... Read more

My family had checked into the hotel and was getting ready for bed when we noticed two bed bugs (one large adult and one smaller one) in one bed and a large adult in the other. We immediately gathered our things and told the lady at the front desk. We had taken photos of the bugs and had shown them to her. Her only response was that the maid had been in and the sheets were clean. She told us that there was no other availability, even though we wouldn't even consider switching to another room,... This is not your typical chain hotel. It gives more of a European feel. It has a cute courtyard with fountains and a vine covered walkway. The hotel is dated but room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location is right across from a mall with lots of restaurants and shopping and a quick drive to Old Town Prescott and Whiskey Row. We had a room that faced the highway and traffic noise was irritating. I would suggest asking for a room that doesn't face the road. Room where breakfast is ser... Read more

What was most important to me was location as I had an early morning appointment the following morning. This is an older hotel, not a chain one. It's located on a hillside at the end of Lee Circle. Our room was clean, bed very comfortable, small fridge & coffee maker, tiny balcony with just enough room for 2 chairs. Having the mall across the road was an added plus. Breakfast was average. The words "Forest Villas" is misleading as one would think villas in a forest area, NOT the case here. Pe... Read more

My daughters and I discovered this hotel years ago and I have never been disappointed. Hubby and I just spent our anniversary there recently. Love the grand staircase, the live piano music on Sunday, the charming outdoor seating, the "hilltop" view, accessibility, cleanliness, no bar but you can purchase beer and wine at great prices! The breakfast has warm protein (eggs, sausage), not just cold carbs. Friendly, energetic staff and well-appointed spacious rooms, cute little balcony with a view, ... Read more

The hotel was clean and there are balconies with every room. The only problem we had was that the lights in the pool and hot tub area did not come on until 7pm and it was dark by 6pm. There were also two spiders in our room. The front desk was very helpful in coming to our room and removing the spiders! The breakfast was really good and the staff were all very friendly.

We stayed in a deluxe king suite with whirlpool tub. The room was beautiful, clean and very spacious. Loved having morning coffee on the balcony, and we really enjoyed the fireplace. The lobby is beautiful, staff was courteous and friendly. The free breakfast was enjoyable. The only thing is, I wish the room came with a microwave. We are already planning our return after the holidays.
