We had an overnight at the Scottsdale Links which on first appearances looks like another well managed and well maintained Diamond Resorts property. We discovered otherwise into the evening when we heard a loud rattling coming from the AC vent above the doorway in the bedroom. We called maintenance who responded and were able to abate some of the noise by closing the vent. Well, the room got quite warm and stuffy, we were woken up several times by the noise still coming through the vent. So ... Read more

Typical older timeshare. Very dirty carpets. Pool area was nice with adult pool separate. Tennis courts are 2 1/2 miles down the road. Small airport nearby but not bothersome. Quiet area except street noise.

We had an overnighter at this Diamond Resort. Check in after 3 pm. The kicker, they would credit our stay if we had free breakfast with their staff after a timeshare presentation.Breakfast at 9am, with a 10 am checkout. 100+ degrees, and they put me on the 3RD floor, no elevator, broken ice machine, and construction on the way to the swimming pool, spotty internet. Room was spacious, clean, but once was enough ! NO THANKS !

Stayed Memorial Day weekend in a 2 bedroom suite using our Diamond Resorts timeshare. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen was well equipped with new, full size appliances, dishes and utensils. The main pool was big and surrounded with comfortable furniture and a few cabanas. There was a separate pool and spa for 18+ age which was smaller but peaceful. Construction on the main office was happening at this time but not any inconvenience. This location is in a very upscale and quiet part of the ... Read more

Mostly nice. Stubborn faucet was quickly replaced as was an iron. One bathroom had a cheap plastic storage bin instead of a cabinet-REALLY? Tub was slippery when wet. This was our second visit and enjoyed our stay with the stated exceptions. Staff was very helpful and friend and not pushy. Nice pool areas, one for those over 18. Would stay again.

Older facility now under renovation. We had a downstairs suite in building 14. Not real close to the pool but centrally located. No real comfortable furniture for watching TV. Couches were old and dirty. Rug was worn and dirty. Pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Location was convenient, but right on the path of Airport take offs. Expect noisy flights overhead. Pool area has no snack bar. Walls are thin and toilet flushing sounds like flash flood each night when upstairs occupants flush at ... Read more

This was our first time here. We had two rooms and they were not able to get us close together because I limited them to just building 3. I read the reviews and called as well and building 3 is the only one that has been renovated. They are big condos with a lot of space. We were on the back side facing the golf coarse but the huge tree obstructed our view. The Scottsdale airport is located just south of the property but was not as big as deal as some have wrote about. The pool area was good and... Read more

I understand this used to be an apartment complex from the 1970s before it was bought and turned into a timeshare. My friend used her interval ownership to book a vacation here. She is used to getting good units through the Starwood SVO program. This was far below that kind of quality. The furnishings look as if they were the originals from the apartment days - definitely decades-old cabinets, curtains, chairs. We were going to cook, but that changed when we found the unit only had 1 pasta ... Read more

If you remove the potential time share sales pitch, this place is awesome. The rooms are always clean and spacious. We have two young children and were able to unitize the playground and splash pad by the pool and participate in the daily activities. The location is very nice as it is close to the 101 loop.

I was here for a week in July of 2016 and was in a 1 bedroom villa on an exchange. The Good: The staff couldn't be nicer. Very professional, polite and courteous. They try to help as much as they can. The Villas are former apartments so mine was very spacious. It had a large walk in closet that could be another bedroom! TONS of storage so this would be a good place if you were coming for a long stay. Great kitchen, formal separate dining room, living room a little on the small side, bathroom ... Read more

Have put family up at this resort several times as we are timeshare owners and all has been acceptable. Our last stay, July 2016, was a big disappointment. Our unit was not ready when we arrived so were were placed in another unit and on the second floor. Lots of grandchildren running around disturbing the guest below. The unit is very outdated and not in good shape. Appliances were not working properly, cracks and chips on the floor and the rugs were filthy. When my grandson played on the f... Read more

Nice people to deal with. Although they send you to their sales peoples the lady that we were assigned to was not too pushy for us to do the presentation. She was also very helpful in giving us information on local establishments. Two bedroom unit was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Grand kids had a blast in the large pool and especially the activities. We will stay there again.

I stayed at this property once 4 years ago. That 1 stay has resulted in a deluge of calls from their telemarketing dept. I have asked them numerous times to stop, it does no good. I wrote the their headquarters asking them to stop. They said they would remove me from their list. That did no good. Reporting them to the do not call list also does no good. I have received hundreds of calls. The numbers are spoofed. No reputable companies uses spoofed numbers.

Room was spacious, nice kitchens with all equipment. TV's in every room. I even took my Apple TV and the tech persons helped me connect to the network. Bypass the concierge if you do not want to be bothered with free breakfasts, lunches and sightseeing. In my experience, you can get the sightseeing cheaper in town.

We read all the reviews and all of them are accurate. We stayed in a three bedroom condo style. It was appropriate. Not too nice but comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. Staff was great. Kitchen and bathrooms very dated.

We visit this resort at least 5 times per year. We love the location, despite the construction, it's still great! We usually get the 2 bedroom suite, which is super comfy for my family, and this time a group of moms! It's close to the 101 freeway, and got to downtown Phx for our concert in about 30 minutes. The rooms are modern, spacious, clean and inviting. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The value is great! I would recommend you staying here! I can't wait to see ... Our party of 4 stayed in a 3 bedroom unit that was spacious enough, but in need of sprucing up. Best asset: the tranquility pool. The Welcome Center was under construction and a sewer smell present at all plumbing locations ( toilets, sinks and bath tubs). This is the second time our group has stayed here and while the kitchen amenities have improved, we will wait for the upgrades to all rooms to be completed before we come back. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The bu... Read more

My unit had a washer/dryer set-up inside the unit, covered garage spaces next to condo and direct outdoor access so you can come and go privately. Really enjoyed this place and highly recommend it.

We stayed in a very spacious 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment on the third floor (2 flights up). Exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Although the property had on-going construction (of which we had been notified), it was very quiet. Fully equipped kitchen. Housekeeping was every 3rd day, but this was not a problem because there were many towels and the soap bars were large.

Diamond Links was recommended to us by a local relative. Unfortunately, we arrived after dark which made it difficult for us older folks to see signage. When entering the property, although the check-in is to your left, you must turn right, left and left again at the the first left. Our one room was spacious, very clean, comfortable and very quiet. There was a full dining area with 6 comfortable chairs, a fully equipped kitchen with 2 bar stools to sit at the counter. The room also had a fu... Read more

Spent a week using an Interval World exchange. Had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath 3rd floor unit - by choice - but there are no elevators so for some not a good option. Almost all units have views of the parking lots or a fairly busy street. The unit was large and comfortable with the exception of the sofa that was extremely uncomforable. There is a good sized patio with table and chairs but not useable some times because of the noise from various maintenance projects going on around the property. T... Read more

The rooms were clean and the front desk staff were very friendly. Check in and check out were A+. But when I entered the living room, I was greeted by a giant stain on the carpeting in the middle of the room. During my entire stay, I wanted to get a carpet cleaner and scrub away the stain, or buy an area rug to hide the dirty site. In the kitchen, the cabinet below the sink would not close. The reception and concierge staff are excellent and go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay. The apartments need a bit of a refreshment but otherwise are ok. Our television in the lounge was stuck on the wall in the corner, not very well sited. Had a problem with the room safe which was very quickly rectified.
