My wife and I have been going to the Pointe Hilton for the last 15 years. We used to float around the lazy river and daydream about our future kids, and now we bring those same kids with us once a year. Its usually a very relaxing experience, so when the opportunity came up to bring them with me on a business trip, it was a no brainer to bring them along. The resort seems to go downhill a little bit every year, but this year was definitely the worst we experienced. We went over to the p... Read more

We recently stayed at your Hilton resort and wanted to share some feedback with you. My fiancé and I stayed at your Resort on 06/05/2016- 06/06/2016 For my birthday. We were shocked of the service that we received at the bar near the lazy river. The wait time for a cocktail was 20 min on a sunday evening. Dirty diapers on the pool floor. The fridge did not work in the hotel suit. When calling down to the front desk in the evening there was no answer to the first 3 lines on the phone. over and o... Read more

The casitas are perfect for family staycations. The casitas are close to the water park and have enough space for even families with a few kids. Great value during summer and the private parking for the casitas are perfect. The location of our casita was perfect since it made the walk to the water park very short.

Me and husband stayed here for one night on our honeymoon tour and I wished we could have stayed longer! Our hotel room was massive with separate rooms for the living room and bedroom which can be closed to allow privacy. The highlight of the hotel is the fact it has its own water park. There are many pools which means you can avoid being somewhere to crowded and the lazy river circles the golf course. I would have happily stayed in that lazy river another day.

I scheduled to stay here the day before arriving for a business training. I did not read reviews (because of the spontaneity), unlike usual, but saw the pictures and thought it was going to be great! Upon arriving, we were greeted by Cory who was extremely nice and friendly. He asked if we preferred to be contacted via text or phone when our room was ready. I was expecting a cookie-cutter text, but it was actually him. Once arriving in our room, the view outside the balcony was so beautiful! Th... Read more

This was a 1 night anniversary trip. We when to a the Hole in the wall restaurant On property and it was 130 pm. The close sign said 3 pm. The first thing the waitress said was " we were just getting ready to lock the doors" That set the tone. We ate our food as fast as we could as I watched them turn away 14 people because they didn't have enough business to stay open till 3? We got our Casita about 330 pm. It is dated I will give you that but it was nice. When I want to the bathroom upstairs ... Read more

Great property with lots to do. Casitas are well laid out and very comfortable. Plenty of space in the one bedroom casita for 2 adults and 2 teens. Food on site is a little pricey but good. Staff on property was very responsive to requests.

Over good experience. Stayed on the weekend of 4th of July. Room was renovated and very nice. Stayed in an ambassador suite- 8 person table. Very nice! Ammenities were also great, just as described on the website 2 pools with a bar (possibly more 5am-11pm bar closes at 8pm) and then the river ranch (8am-8pm) which also had bar service. Concierge was not helpful at all. He should retire he is grumpy and old, they need someone to actually sell them on adventures. This place is mainly for families... Read more

This resort won't give discount rates over the phone or internet. Add $27 a day in fees and taxes to you bill. We were placed on the 4th floor and the elevator did not work. The balconies are tiny and covered by trees.

Location and grounds are fine, room construction is terrible. you hear neighboring rooms flush the toilet and run showers like they are in your room. Other families talking in the corridors also sounds like it is in your room. forget getting any peace and quiet until late. and if a baby gets up early morning or young children nearby, you will hear that too. on a holiday weekend chairs poolside were scarce. not thrilled with the experience at the hotel.

We stayed here twice. 1st time was in Oct 2014 when we 1st moved from Hawai'i to Arizona. It was great. Our room was clean. All rooms are suites, so totally spacious. Room was dark due to the drapes but it's great when you don't want that beight morning sun in your face...like me. Pool was good. It was still a bit hot at that time, therefore, sitting in the sun with no umbrella because it was peak season, made it a bit unbearable. I stayed here and I was a little surprised that this was a Hilton property. The grounds are very nice, but the rooms are so dated. The size of the suite was fine, 2 queen beds in one room and a small living room with a pull out couch, desk, flat screen, compact refrigerator and coffee area when you first walk in the room. The carpet had a few deep in bedded stains that really needs to be changed. The furniture was country style with flat screens (modern). The internet sucks! I even got up ... Read more

The Pointe offers a place for those of us visiting parents at the Terraces across the street. We have stayed here several times in the last couple of years. I am always amazed how well kept the rooms and grounds are. I swam in the empty pool at five am (jet lag) and enjoyed meals at both Rico's and Hole in the Wall. This morning I ate breakfast overlooking the lazy river and looking out to the Phoenix mountains. A place for everyone can be found here.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my feeling and thoughts about the Hilton Squaw Peak Resort. I was very displeased that the additional $75 'resort fee', was not revealed when I called about the cost of the room. I did inquire with the front desk at checkout, about this NOT a pleasure stay OR use of any of the 'resort' facilities, wanting the daily resort fee removed, but they said that was not possible. Then why does Hilton state that their room rates are xxx.xx, if the $75 res... Read more

My daughters and I visited Squaw Peak for spring break and had a blast! It seemed like every hour there was some fun activity for the kids.. which was nice, because it gave me some time to chill by the pool. It was also only about 30 minutes away from Surprise, which is where the baseball spring training camps are. I hope we can return someday!

Booked a room for a family staycation for my son's 14th birthday. Well, immediately we were underwhelmed. The lazy river barely moves. The water slide is really slow so they did it once. The only thing that held their interest was water basketball. This place would have been good for kids less than 10? Regarding the room, it was run down. The furniture had signs of a long life. Sorta pricey for what you get. Water park closed too early- 8pm. Snack bar was over priced and the drinks were a bit watered down. WiFi didn't work for 2 days and room was worse than a motel 6 room. My girls loved the water park so it made up for some of the negative aspects.

In am.service folks gathered with carts around our room laughing and yelling to each other while garbage trucks backed in and out beeping. Moved rooms to one that had a clogged bathtub drain and a toilet that constantly filled up due to what appeared to be a leak from upper tank. Guess blankets in rooms where close to sandpaper like!
