My wife and I have been going to the Pointe Hilton for the last 15 years. We used to float around the lazy river and daydream about our future kids, and now we bring those same kids with us once a year. Its usually a very relaxing experience, so when the opportunity came up to bring them with me on a business trip, it was a no brainer to bring them along. The resort seems to go downhill a little bit every year, but this year was definitely the worst we experienced. We went over to the p... Read more

We recently stayed at your Hilton resort and wanted to share some feedback with you. My fiancé and I stayed at your Resort on 06/05/2016- 06/06/2016 For my birthday. We were shocked of the service that we received at the bar near the lazy river. The wait time for a cocktail was 20 min on a sunday evening. Dirty diapers on the pool floor. The fridge did not work in the hotel suit. When calling down to the front desk in the evening there was no answer to the first 3 lines on the phone. over and o... Read more

The casitas are perfect for family staycations. The casitas are close to the water park and have enough space for even families with a few kids. Great value during summer and the private parking for the casitas are perfect. The location of our casita was perfect since it made the walk to the water park very short.

Me and husband stayed here for one night on our honeymoon tour and I wished we could have stayed longer! Our hotel room was massive with separate rooms for the living room and bedroom which can be closed to allow privacy. The highlight of the hotel is the fact it has its own water park. There are many pools which means you can avoid being somewhere to crowded and the lazy river circles the golf course. I would have happily stayed in that lazy river another day.

I scheduled to stay here the day before arriving for a business training. I did not read reviews (because of the spontaneity), unlike usual, but saw the pictures and thought it was going to be great! Upon arriving, we were greeted by Cory who was extremely nice and friendly. He asked if we preferred to be contacted via text or phone when our room was ready. I was expecting a cookie-cutter text, but it was actually him. Once arriving in our room, the view outside the balcony was so beautiful! Th... Read more

Ammenities were also great, just as described on the website 2 pools with a bar (possibly more 5am-11pm bar closes at 8pm) and then the river ranch (8am-8pm) which also had bar service. Concierge was not helpful at all. He should retire he is grumpy and old, they need someone to actually sell them on adventures. This place is mainly for families... Read more

Location and grounds are fine, room construction is terrible. you hear neighboring rooms flush the toilet and run showers like they are in your room. Other families talking in the corridors also sounds like it is in your room. forget getting any peace and quiet until late. and if a baby gets up early morning or young children nearby, you will hear that too. on a holiday weekend chairs poolside were scarce. not thrilled with the experience at the hotel.

The Pointe offers a place for those of us visiting parents at the Terraces across the street. We have stayed here several times in the last couple of years. I am always amazed how well kept the rooms and grounds are. I swam in the empty pool at five am (jet lag) and enjoyed meals at both Rico's and Hole in the Wall. This morning I ate breakfast overlooking the lazy river and looking out to the Phoenix mountains. A place for everyone can be found here.

We have visited this spot more than once and love it!!! Even if a problem does arise Management takes care of you. The lazy river is always fun, mini golf can't go wrong, and our personal choice always a Casita.

Everything went according to plan. AC worked great, quiet nights. Got twisted around some (confusing layout). Need more toiletries in store. No other stores walking distance with the hot temperatures.

This is an excellent pet friendly resort. It is a bit older but very clean, very beautiful, and the staff is wonderful. They took care of our every need. I will definitely be going back to this resort

4th year coming here for fall break. This time we brought additional family members as the hotel is great. Casitas are large and great to eat outside on the sundeck,. Regular rooms are large suites as well. The River Ranch is a lot of fun and our kids can spend all day there. We like to drive the mile up to Dreamy Draw park and go hiking up there. A lil disappointed Hole in the Wall restaurant was already closed for the season, even on the weekends. Gold/Diamond members get 2 $10 meal vouchers ... Read more

We booked a standard suite for three nights. Big bedroom (with TV and two queen sized beds), balcony, bathroom and living room with fridge. Plenty of space for four of us and good standard of furnishing. Hotel was lovely - great to have the resort pools / lazy river just a few steps away. Didn't try the hotel restaurant as we either picnicked (great to have the fridge) or drove to local diners etc. Very helpful staff with good info on local hikes etc.

Discovered this little gem during a weekend get away from Minnesota. Top notch hospitality as expected when staying with Hilton. Yes the some comments about it being an older property but they have done many updates and the rooms are very clean and cozy. You can pay extra for a casita which are more upgraded I think. The restaurant Rico's was amazing we went there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The waterpark, 4 others pools and mini golf is enough to keep busy during your stay without leaving.... Read more

Hotel has nice amenities-pool, shops, grounds. Good location for the hotel.Horrible restaurant service at Rico Restaurant on hotel grounds. Waiter was rude to our party of nine at 9:45pm. Restaurant says it was open until 11:00 so not sure what the problem was with his attitude. Then he added gratuity without telling us (no listing on menu)and we added 20% on top of that! Too bad no one will go back. Food was marginal at best.

I always love the Point's resorts in Phoenix and we tend to stay at one when in the area. We spent two nights here at this resort and have to say the rooms are in need of updates as they seem to be quite dated. The elevators were dated and had issues with doors trying to close and had etched graffiti in a few of them. The hotel property pools are great and the water park (which is separate, but included in price) is very nice. The pool lounge chairs are very plush and water temp was perfect... Read more

Hotel is perfect for family or solo vacation. Not so much for the working man/woman on business. Wouldn't enjoy the Lazy River or courts because they close at 6 during the week and i get to the hotel around that time. Really sucks they don't offer free breakfast/coffee in the morning, it's a given at other, lower start hotels. Hate that there are no microwaves in the room unless you request it and pay $15 for it. Besides that, not a bad hotel

I arrived late at night on Nov 3rd and everything was a disappointment, from the unfriendliness of the front desk and the condition of the room. The room did not reflect the images I saw on the hotel's website. The room, the bed and mattress were old, the mattress was uncomfortable, the TV had no signal, the tubing system was loud and this along with the mattress did not allow me to sleep well. I asked to be switched rooms, and I was offered for $59 extra per night a larger room, but still not r... Read more

The hotel has a good value, a great location, comfortable beds, clean rooms and giant lot. However, I would not recommend this hotel if they can't improve their staffs' manner and attitude. The guy who served us when we checked out was extremely rude and arrogant. He seemed to be at some emotions when he was on his duty.

My family booked a One Bedroom Casita with a kitchen and one and a half baths and we could not have been happier with all the extra space this option provided. In terms of sleeping arraignments ,upstairs was the bedroom with full bath, while downstairs was a pull out couch and the powder room. The downstairs also had a dining/sitting area, TV/living space and the kitchen with a small but nearly full sized fridge. Well worth the additional cost for the Casita due to the extra space and savings on... Read more

I had the pleasure of staying at this facility twice within the past year. It was a wonderful experience on both occasions. I found the staff friendly and congenial. Their concierge Richard gave me lots of inside tips on what to see in Arizona. The rooms were clean and well-kept. The facilities in terms of the polls and other offerings were excellent. While it is one of the Hilton's older properties, do not be deceived by this. It was very adult-friendly comma yet was also very friendly to famil... Read more

This property is very old and not well maintained. We had planned on staying for three nights but checked out after the first night. We selected this hotel based on their website which is extremely deceiving. Their photos show pristinely manicured grounds and beautiful pools. The river pool actually has rust stains on the bottom of the pool and the flow of the river pool is unbelievably slow. The restaurant wasn't open, due to off season I guess. Outdoor fountains by our room were turned off a... Read more

The amenities at this resort are nice food is decent, pool was fun for the kids. The location is attractive to a lot of places and things to do. The lazy river could use a little more supervision, the rooms are nice ready for a slight refreshing soon.

The negative reviews are spot on. Even the " refreshed" rooms are worn and dirty. Never ate at the hotel. After seeing the cleanliness of the property I wouldn't trust the food. Don't eat st Aunt Chiladas, it was awful. The Brown Bag was great
