We had just about 60 archers and family from a same archery club from Southern Cal staying at this hotel. All the staff at this hotel made sure that all our needs were met. It is a very clean, newer hotel that is connected to the Courtyard by Marriott. Plenty of parking. Good enough free wi fi. The location was superb to attend Arizona Cup ( national archery event ) and the surrounding neighborhood appeared to be safe and newly developed. The night manager, Nick ( I think that was his name..) w... Read more

Room was very clean, staff was very helpful. The Breakfast was very tasty, with a good variety of food. We went back for seconds of the sausage and gravy! It was nice to know it's pet friendly for possible future visits. Plus the roos were well insulated, very quiet.

We have found a new home away from home! I took a chance booking here as we've never stayed in this area of Phoenix before....and we loved it! The "Norterra" area is so convenient to hwy 17 and the 101. There is a huge shopping center with cinemas, restaurants and shops 2 blocks away and another center with Walmart, TJ Maxx, Ross, and many other fast eating choices. We found the area to be quiet but so easy to navigate. We also don't mind having to drive a good distance to get to all of the... Read more

I travel enough on business to be rather discerning on hotels. This trip was a family trip to Phoenix and the Grand Canyon. This hotel is well situated just on the north side of Phoenix as a jump off point to Sedona, the Grand Canyon. New, clean, comfortable suites with mini kitchens if you wish to eat in. Lots of restaurants and a Walmart nearby. Decent hot breakfast included and special happy hour meals/drinks on monday to wednesday in the evenings. From check in to check out I really do... Read more

From check in to check out, the staff were friendly. Our room was clean and quiet, complete with a kitchenette for eating in. The free breakfast was standard fare, with cereal, a waffle maker, scrambled eggs, and meats. We checked out the grounds, and they do have a pool and half-basketball court, though we did not use either. The pool appears to be shared with the Courtyard hotel next door, but when we walked by, there was nobody there. Overall, we would have no hesitation to stay here again.

We arrived an hour later than planned, having had to change a tire on the side of the highway. We were in north Phoenix for a funeral and had come down after work--so we were sad, frazzled, exhausted, hot, and hungry. The woman at the front desk (I would thank her, but I forgot her name) was SO nice. She asked what brought us to Happy Valley and we told her about the funeral and the blowout. She handed us each a cold bottle of water--just what we needed! We asked if she knew when PF Changs close... Read more

After three weeks it is time to go home. I have to say that the staff has been amazing, always friendly and willing to help. I loved the layout of my room, it feels more like home than hotel which really helps on these long trips. I wish the beds were a bit more comfortable, they were too broke in and you feel like you are lying in a ditch. The pillows were either too firm or too soft,a common issue in most hotels. My biggest issue however were the bugs! Every morning there was some kind of blac... Read more

We've stayed at Residence Inns across the country and for the most part, they are all very similar. You know what to expect and are a little put off when those expectations are not met. Two of the items we expected were 24/7 coffee in the lobby and some form of pastry included with the breakfast. We were unpleasantly surprised to find that after breakfast, the coffee disappears and there are no pastries at all! Small things, but important to us. The newer Residence Inns have shrunken the si... Read more

The staff are quite good both from a friendly and competence perspective. Always polite and able to handle requests. Large pool area that has shade and sun. Suite was spacious. Only complaint is that the beds are uncomfortable. Beds are OK for a short stay but a long stay would have resulted in sore shoulders and/or back.

Very nice hotel, decent selection of breakfast items. Different selection each day. WONDERFUL customer service. 30 minutes to Scottsdale, 1.5 hours to Sedona, 3 hours to the Grand Canyon. Shops and restaurants very close by. Highly recommended!! Would definitely return.

Didn't intend to stay here, but stayed here for two nights after disappointment at another hotel. I haven't been to a Residence Inn that i didn't like and this hotel was pretty nice. The room was spacious and clean. It's a mini suite with kitchen, sofa bed, desk and two person eating table. Bed was comfy and clean. Pool was quite large and spa was just right. Fitness center was alittle small with two treadmills, two ellipticals, and weights. Complimentary cocktail reception was good with a ... Read more

Travelers, a nice enough place to stay.... GREAT Wi-Fi speed. While not brand new this nicely remodeled Residence Inn pretty nice. Rooms are nice and pretty quiet. The Wi Fi speed is really fast, for once! Oh, the towels are old, thin and crisp from being laundered a zillion times!

We flew into Phoenix airport to go to the Grand Canyon and wanted to spend the night somewhere that will give us a headstart going north. The hotel was clean, and we all slept well. Breakfast had good choices. The hotel staff at breakfast made sure that food did not run out and were constantly checking in on the customers. Recommended if you are looking for a nice overnight place outside of Phoenix going to GC.

From check in to check out, it really was a great stay. Everything was very clean and well kept, service was outstanding. Plenty of food and drink options within walking distance. One of the nicest Residence Inns I have visited.
