I probably had the misfortune to be assigned the worst room on the property! The rooms can't all be this bad. First the A/C unit is over-sized for the room and loud. It is located within two feet of the bed. My shoes were placed on top of the unit to keep the drapes from flying into the area. The TV glows at night in the hopes that no one will bump into it. What? The one "Blue Light Special" picture was complimented by the $9.95 Home Depot ceiling light. The small bare wooden chairs are the type ... Read more

I hadn't been to a Howard Johnson's in years! However, because I learned they were now a Wyndham property, I had higher expectations! The was dank with a damp smell of sorts. The rug was not clean which led me to to wonder how clean the rest of the room was. The room was large with a small TV on a table that was way to far away. We slept in our clothes because we didn't feel comfortable to sleep under the covers. I will not go back to a Howard Johnson again...in my opinion obtaining was no... Read more

Very cheap quality. Got up just before breakfast closed and the owner clerk did not even was to let me get some OJ Room was very shabby plugs and light fixtures did not work. Dirty looking like a cheap hooker motel. This is not the quality of the Howard Johnson brand.

Let's just say that it isn't the Taj Mahal but budgetarily friendly. The room was clean and had everything you needed for a short stay (but you wouldn't want to live there). The breakfast was ample---cereals, waffles, muffins, juice, coffee----but if you got down to the breakfast room after 8 am, supplies were almost out. However, they were gratiously replaced upon request. The staff was awesome---printed out our boarding passes, called the airport shuttle/taxi as needed, and made every effo... Read more

So this was our hotel move from La Quinta in PHX (who screwed me out of A LOT of money) BUT you definitely don't want their free breakfast that's stale. Not to mention the fact that a shirt of mine disappeared after the maids cleaned the room but they "never saw it". Plus we couldn't enjoy the pool bc nobody bothered to mention we'd be basically trapped in our room for 2 days bc nobody mentioned they planned to repair sidewalks or lay tar in the parking lot. However it's a good stay if you just... Read more
