Green Tree was a very good budget-type hotel for $67. I stayed at a Tempe Spring Hill Suites by Marriott last week for twice the price and it wasn't much better. Green Tree was worn but the room was very nice. The bathroom wasn't as nice but everything worked fine. Nice staff. Breakfast buffet was a mess when I went down at 7:30 - lots of spills and slobs and nothing being replenished - but when I left at 9 it looked like it had gotten some attention.

We stayed at this hotel on our way to LA, the rooms were nice and quiet. This hotel surprised me with the comfortable beds and nice large rooms. They offered free breakfast and shuttle service, we didn't have to pay to leave our car over the weekend. The Shuttle Driver was great we had the same lady who dropped us off pick us up and she was really great.

My husband found this place on, got a great rate and when we checked into our room, we were surprised by the size of the room. The bed was super comfy, had a nice sitting area and a large bathroom. We will definitely be staying here again!

This hotel was amazing and at a good price. I stayed for 3 nights 5/16/16 to 5/19/16. Check in was smooth and easy. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean, the bed was a king and it was so soft and comfortable. Breakfast was great there was alot to choose from. Overall this was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

We stayed for just one night traveling from Tucson to Sedona. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room, while not new, was well kept, quite large, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, but heavy traffic made it difficult for the staff to keep things stocked. Could use a little more fruit on the buffet. We have paid a lot more and been less pleased.

Comfortable beds and in room coffee. Quiet & recently remodeled. They serve a full breakfast every morning. Less than 10 minute drive from the rental car plaza & easy access to freeways. Can see a glimpse of Tempe baseball stadium from the hotel.

This chain appears to be taking old hotels and upgrading with some furniture and a few "amenities." Meh. The beds are clean and comfortable, nice tv with variety of channels, quiet place. But -- those so-called "amenities" such as water, newspaper, internet, cookies and hot breakfast all fall under "service" and you get whacked an extra $5 when you check out. The carpets are dirty. The hot breakfast had rubbery eggs and cold sausage and the serving area was dirty with dried waffle mix left ... Read more

I really don't get all the great reviews. Our room was musty smelling and the paint in the bathroom was cracked badly. The breakfast area was a mess, and no wonder....the front desk lady was running the entire show, in addition to the front desk! I hope they paid her for both!

Easy to access from airport, close to many areas of interest and economic. Cheap accommodations but clean and convenient. Unfortunately pool wasn't open but the hotel did arrange for transport to a neighbouring hotel to use their pool, not convenient but do understand that pool maintenance is required.

I got this hotel for cheap as we needed a place to sleep close to the airport for our flight at 7am. Front desk staff was not too friendly, not a smile at all. We had to change room 3 times. First room AC was broken and the bath tub was nasty. 2nd room we couldn't even open the door. Anyhow, it was just annoying that we had to keep walking back and forth and ended up spending almost 30 mins just to get a room at the end. Room was okay. It has a fridge and a microwave. Was not impressed wi... Read more

We enjoyed staying here, except the room was so nice. We got the suite was was very good but I guess the cleaning lady didn't do her job right. I complained the next day at the front desk, they were very nice and apologized. The breakfast is great with hot and cold breakfast. The pool seemed nice we didn't used it.

I used a conference room and put a client in one of the suites. Both were well equipped and comfortable. Client said that the sleeping room was comfortable. It was a good location. They have a shuttle that picks you up at airport and can get you where you need to go within a few miles. The downside is it is a little outdated so has a bit of a "worn" feeling. Other than that, it was a good choice and great value for the money.

Our connecting flight was cancelled and luggage lost. We found this hotel with great rates and nearby. The staff was very accommodating and exceptionally helpful during our stressful situation. The driver took us to local shops so that we could get what we needed since our luggage was lost. The room was very clean and properly equipped with everything. It's located next to a restaurant and gas station that is open late which was great because we didn't get in until 10:30pm. We'll definitely sta... Read more

I booked this place because it sounded roomy for the price and had a complimentary breakfast. We were totally satisfied!! The room/bathroom felt a bit worn but it was clean and spacious and the breakfast was fantastic -- much better than most standard included breakfasts. The front desk was very friendly and helpful, complete with providing me a map and good suggestions for our venture up to the Grand Canyon. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

I visit clients several times a year near the Phoenix airport, and am really impressed with this hotel. It's always clean, modern, and ready. The staff is amazing in their willingness to serve and go the extra mile pro-actively. I must especially compliment Daniel, Trish, Melissa, and Susan - though again, they are all good (so sorry if I missed anyone). When flying out of Sky Harbor Airport we stay overnight to avoid any closures on Hwy 17. This hotel was once a Hampton Inn and we were surprised to learn it is now Green Tree Inn and Suites. We enjoyed very friendly service from the ladies at the front desk and a recently renovated accessible room. It was very fresh and contemporary. Breakfast was included with hot entrees like scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, and omelettes. Will definitely stay here again when coming to Phoenix.

We stayed here for one night at the end of our trip before flying home and it was really convenient - and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was for a hotel near an airport - great breakfast, clean rooms/lobby, reliable shuttle, and even cookies and bottles of water when you checked in. We had a great stay - and it was nicer than some of the resorts we stayed at during our trip! I'd definitely recommend it! My wife and I spent one night after arriving at the Phoenix airport late evening. The hotel is within a 10 minute drive, and the hotel's shuttle arrived promptly after we called for pickup. The room was clean and comfortable with excellent AC in a very hot Phoenix. The complimentary buffet breakfast was phenomenal! Bottom line: great night's stay, at a very reasonable price and the added amenities of a wonderful breakfast and free shuttle service. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Me and my husband stayed here for a 3 night trip. Pros: The check in was easy and everyone was very nice. Our room was very clean, and the beds pretty comfy. Cons: We could not sleep well. People were very noisy in the halls. The Jacuzzi was not heated, it must have been broke because it was as cold as the pool. The biggest issue was the area. It's behind a gas station/ drug store. Green Tree was a clean well appointed hotel very conveniently located for utilizing the airport. Rooms had luxurious beds. Pool was clean and nice. Breakfast was complete. Staff were friendly and helpful. They were going to offer to jump our dead battery in car but were not allowed to offer service on rental cars. Room INN service available for pizza, pasta and salads. This is somewhat pricey, but if you are tired and don't want to drive anymore it is a nice bonus feature.

This was a great place to stay when you need to catch an early flight. We wanted to return our car the night before so this hotel was a good choice. After dropping off the car, we took the bus back to the airport, called the hotel and their shuttle picked us up within 5 minutes. The hotel is clean and well managed with good service. Free breakfast was nice and good variety, although there wasn't enough seating. Quite a nice, compact pool area with adequate seats and sunbeds. Rooms were quite large, nice comfortable beds, equipped with a fridge and microwave, Add to this the free parking and it looks a good package. This is probably one of the very best bedding I have found in recent memory. The location of this facility is quite close to the airport, and since they do offer a shuttle service, makes it an excellent selection for a quick stay when flying in or out. However, patience is required if one were to utilize their shuttle services. From the airport, it took close to 45 minutes before they showed up. The initial time estimate was 20 minutes, it was then revised to a quick 10 minutes. But at the ... Read more

The hotel rooms have been renovated and look great for the most part. We were upgraded to a suite which had a sitting room and large TV with fridge and a king bed with a partial wall between them. The "bedroom" had another TV so the TVs were back to back. Had to keep sound low. We were happy until the morning. Stayed a couple of nights to take a quick look at Pheonix before heading up to the Grand Canyon. The room & bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful, and the breakfast was very good, with both cooked & healthy options.
