The public spaces are updated and quite lovely. The "luxury" suite we were in shows wear and needs updating of carpeting, uphostery, refinishing of furniture and built-ins, and other aspects of decor ... extra space in bedroom doesn't make sense.. staff is responsive and friendly...

Breakfast was outstanding, cooks very courteous. bartender polite a male dressed in black came out of no where and blasted us at 10:30 pm, while sitting in the bar area. We were eating snacks from our room, he told us we had to leave........NOT SO NICE.......consequently we did not order more drinks from the bar!!!!

Every single person we encountered here was friendly with great service! The room was beautiful, we really enjoyed our stay! Check in was very fast. The breakfast included is fantastic as well. You really can't beat the location either, depending on what you're doing it is pretty centrally located.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 20 years and wish ownership would part with a few bucks to maintain this property. The room smelled bad, had a poorly done patch in several places on the ceiling, worn carpet, crack in the sink and the toilet was clogged when I checked in. The hotel is a great location and the service staff were helpful, but the ownership is weak and Hilton should do something about this, or maybe I got the only room of 300+ that was not decent.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years. The property is getting older but still delivers a quality stay and experience. Two room suites are very comfortable and spacious. For us, sleep quality has always been excellent. Cooked to order breakfast and manager's evening reception is always a welcome amenity at Embassy Suites, and this location comes through just fine. Beautiful pool and attractive grounds all conveniently located adjacent to the Arizona Biltmore Fashion Park.... Read more

We stayed here while our sewer line was being repaired. The entire staff was extremely accommodating, especially to our 2.5 year old daughter. The breakfast and nightly reception were a nice treat. The front desk also gives kids fish food to feed their koi in the hotel. Im an absolute Embassy Suites loyal customer now.

Unless you need to be downtown for business, this location is great for dining, shopping and access to interstates and major roads. There are at least 4 of the TripAdvisor top 10 restaurants in Phoenix within ten minutes, and a couple are right next door. This property was purpose=-built for Embassy suites, and the rooms are true suites with each opening onto the five story atrium. Breakfast was nice, but not as great as some other ES breakfasts we had. The manager's reception featured high... Read more

The hotel itself and accommodations were wonderful. There was an open bar complimentary from 530-730 and the bartender was very friendly. The only thing that was not the greatest was the front desk reps could've been more helpful. Everything else was great, very quiet and relaxing weekend.

The hotel is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The van service to the local area is a little lacking, but that's what Uber is for, I suppose. If you need to do anything more than 2.5 miles away from the hotel, make sure you have made arrangements beforehand. The pool is one of the few remaining that is actually more than 5 feet deep. It's nice and heated (Though that seems counter-intuitive in Arizona.). Even with the limited van service, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel... Read more

This hotel is good for a nights stay, but it was not up to par for the cleanliness of a Hilton member hotel. They offered complimentary drinks from 5-7:30 which was great and the drinks were good drinks! The food was great too! Service was above standard and the bed slept well. This hotel would probably fit best for business travelers or those staying for only a night or two. The low rating was because of the sticky carpets and unclean bathroom.

Beautiful d├ęcor, depicting a Canyon Setting, to include a stream with live fish, in the lobby area My room (Suite) was exceptional with a balcony overlooking the pool. Restaurant was also exceptional, as there was an Omaha Steakhouse inside the facility. If you like steak, and I do, it was perfect. They even had a "Selfie Room", if you are into that, where you could go in and take a picture, making it appear you were at The Grand Canyon.

We selected this hotel for all of the typical perks of staying at an Embassy Suites; big room, hot breakfast included, the manager's reception and delightful customer service. Emabassy Suites is always nice. Big rooms, free cooked breakfast. This is a great location although I had a few issues with my specific room. The staff was quick to try and fix them. One complaint is the amount of staff to service the breakfast area. Not enough staff and many items were empty for some time. Same with the evening reception. I was surprised to be told that dogs are allowed in EVERY room here except for four rooms! Most hotels are just the opposite: there are certain designated rooms for dogs - preferably on the 1st floor. I love dogs but don't want to chance getting fleas - hard to get rid of! Fortunately, one of those four rooms was not taken when we checked in.

For business or for pleasure, the location is excellent and always super comfortable. Service at Omaha Steakhouse on site is excellent. I had the BBQ burger sent to my room after the complimentary cocktail reception. WiFi was free for HHonors members, but was only adequate for email, not much more. The water out of the shower FLOW out of the shower is as bad or worse than any hotel I have ever stayed at. And I stay 40 some weeks a year. The lines at breakfast are long as only one person cooks and serves your food. Then good luck finding a clean table. Happy hour snacks were just ok and it's hard to complain about free beer. Omaha steak house is just barley ok. The rooms were nice but not all that clean. Falls short of my expectations of the embassy suites.

This hotel is definitely dated. The carpet in my room was faded & dusty in the corners and most of the furniture was beginning to have dents and scratches. It's not the newest hotel, it's not the nicest, or even cleanest...but it's perfectly fine for me. It's a typical Embassy Suites. You get an oversized room with a living room. I have stayed at a number of Embassy Suites -- some of the new ones are fantastic. Unfortunately, this one needs an upgrade. The carpets were stained, the furniture was worn, the gym is a weird/stinky/small "fishbowl" in a hallway. Stayed here on a long business trip in August. Nice rooms with good air conditioning and very friendly staff. Was supposed to change hotels to the Embassy on Thomas midway through my stay but like this location so much better. Surrounded by great restaurants and in a safe feeling area of town. The other location did not give me the same feeling. Love the free drinks and appetizers every night at 5:30 and the size of this pool is unbelievable. Not sure I've stayed at any other hotel with one this... Read more

This was our best stay so far. The room had a full balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast is delicious and Maria makes the best salsa. Omaha steakhouse served us the juiciest, most tender fillet mignon oscar style. Whether your are on a family vacation or a romantic getaway, Embassy Suites is the place to stay!

I stayed at this Embassy Suites for four nights - which is WAY beyond my normal residence. I am typically in and out of a city in a day or two, but as I was going to be in Phoenix for four nights I decided a "suites" hotel would better suit my needs. It is easy to find - just of E. Camelback road. The parking lot was full, so I pulled up outside the entrance, brought in my bags and was told that there was an event at the hotel so I could just leave my car where it was and park it later, if I... Our trip was excellent from the time we arrived to the time we left!! Our family had a total of 10 rooms and we didn't experience one problem all the staff seemed to know the members of our party and we're extremely kind and accommodating. thank you again to the staff of this hotel for making our family reunion a fun and a rememberable success!

Hotel needed some work in the room. Lights out toilet running but staff was cool and helped out as needed. Great location next to food - restaurants were good and Omaha steakhouse had a great steak. Just a bit overdone.

Service was questionable; took an hour for housekeeping to deliver a robe. Food from Omaha Steakhouse was inedible; hamburger meat tasted strange and homemade chips were stale. Lots of noise from trunks outside and from AC unit inside.

I stayed here for a business trip and was very dissapointed. The first room that I was given smelled like stale cigar smoke and I left within 5 minutes of opening the door. The second room I was given had mold in bathroom in the grout, shower and toilet. The place is dated and noisy and in desperate need of refurbishment. Each and every member of the staff was wonderful and helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Great place to stay! The staff is very accommodating. Amazing food and drink. Parking is $10 a night. Very fair! Able to walk to Fashion Park. Fashion Park has excellent shopping and restaurants. Location along with grounds will be good memories for our family. We will definitely return next visit.

Beautiful lobby. The outdoors in an indoor setting. Koi ponds, water features, foliage, paths, and rock formations. Relaxing after a 6 hour drive. The breakfast buffet offered large omelets with choice of ingredients, French toast, pancakes, potatoes, and of course juice, fruit, coffee, and I can't remember everything. Bacon, of course!

Service of hotel dosen't match cost of stay. It's a nice location outside, but the breakfast lines are always too long Constant noises from the floors above you. Plus the shower dosen't drain, while you're showering there's a pool of water rising up your leg.

The hotel is pretty well located, there is a mall and some pretty good restaurants just across the street. Room is spacious and tidy. The breakfast is ok only for those liking omelettes or eggs/bacon, only other choice is fruit/cereal. I sometimes had to pick a 3rd fork to get a clean one, this is disappointing for a 200$/night stay.

We check into a prepaid room that was a king bed suite. What we get was a handicapped room king size bed suite. So the bathroom is a bit strange, with no tub. The room was a bit on the noisy side, because it was on level 2 (of 4), and right above parking, so each time someone set their car alarm, the chirp is easily heard. Then if the AC is on, the noise level is quite annoying, much louder than a normal AC unit. AC unit cyles on and off every couple minutes, so unless you turn it off, there i... Read more

For the $440 we paid for our 2 night stay at this Hilton hotel, I expected so much more. The staff was very impersonal, we had requested a hotel suite with a pool view but received a suite with a parking lot view and a large bit of snacks/drinks that were to be replenished daily, however I had to call and ask about replenishing them and take the basket down to the front desk, then go back and pick it up later in the evening, since they hadn't delivered it. The hotel is very nice looking. The atrium with a fish pond is very attractive. Our room was spacious. We enjoyed the happy hour both days and the bartender was very friendly and personable. Breakfast personnel were also very nice. One problem we had, was the toilet did not work when we arrived. Though It was fixed promptly. Another difficulty we encountered, I was trapped in the elevator for about 15 minutes. On my first call using the phone, it didn't seem to work very good. Whoever ans... Read more

This is an older facility, but in very good condition. Unfortunately the morning showers were COLD two out of three mornings. Don't make the same mistake I did in selecting a pool view room, it was very noisy into the night. Complimentary breakfasts are great, one of the primary reasons I will return to the brand. The in house restaurant food was below average at best, had to choke down the most tasteless quesadillas I have ever eaten, but it was better than nothing. Overall OK.

If you don't mind the dirt, smell or noise, you might be okay staying here but I wouldn't recommend it. I've been staying at this hotel off and on for the last 15 years and it keeps going downhill. Everything is outdated and is starting to smell. The location is perfect for what I need but I think location is no longer going to be the selling point for me.

The property itself is very nice. Large suites with coffeemaker and small fridge. Rooms very clean and quiet. I really resent that when I came home I had a $50.00 a day charge on my credit card statement. I was told that this is automatically charged to cover any services used or food ordered. I was also told that this would be removed from my card within 72 hours. These charges were not listed on my bill when I checked out. I would hesitate staying here in the future for this reason.

In town for a conference and the host hotel was sold out. As an afterthought, really glad that was the case. Embassy Suites at the Biltmore was much, much more reasonably priced and, I'll bet, just as comfortable as the one across the street, where the conference was being held, for twice the price. Room was clean, bed was welcoming and comfortable, as I was hoping it would be and the shower was more than adequate. (That's what is my determining measure of the quality of a hotel,) Personnel... They set us up with a great rate for all the families of our football team. The rooms are very current and clean suites. Comfy beds. The restaurant was descent (definitely get steak). I'm vegetarian but my son loved his his steak. The rate came with breakfast (simple buffet with omelet bar). Sarah was very nice to ask me in advance for anything I might need. She left me waters in my room. The entire staff including the managers were fantastic! I'll be back!

This is an extremely old hotel that is not maintained. The hotel is dirty and the service (except for one front desk representative) is poor. What an incredibly beautiful hotel coupled with a gracious and professional staff. Unobtrusive yet ever present, from the G.M. to the breakfast busser they were always striving to make you feel like they wanted you as their guest. This was one of the most pleasant hotel stays I have had in a long time. I know the staff had nothing to do with the weather but it was great also. We like this hotel, especially the location since it serves our needs with getting to our favorite places as we were once residents of Phoenix and have specific favorite haunts. The construction of the pool and roof units put a damper on this recent stay and we're hoping the work on the roof units will improve the cooling and circulation of the rooms. The staff is great and LOVE the breakfast staff. Amazing to watch their efficiency and they are very friendly.
