I travel to a lot of Marriott's for work. I have stayed in this location dozens and dozens of times. Like most Courtyards - the hotel rooms are wonderful and standard (have all you need), clean and have a mini fridge and bottled water (which you need in Phoenix as their water is gross). As most Courtyards do, I love that they have their little restaurant with food, coffee and alcohol if you need it. This Courtyard has a great pool, AWESOME location - walking distance to a nice gym, Whole Foods ... Read more

Centrally located hotel with beautiful courtyard pool, landscaping and seating. Full bar in the lobby. Clean rooms. Adjacent to shopping center with Whole Foods, Trader Joe's; both with outdoor courtyard seating.

Rooms are standard Courtyard, nice and efficient, but the staff at the front desk and at the cafe will make your stay special. Wifi is fast and they sell decent coffee (Starbucks) in the lobby. The hotel is centrally located in Phoenix with easy access to the airport and other cities in the area. Great location on Camelback road means you are within walking distance to a number of restaurants. Try Snooze for breakfast and Grassroots Kitchen for happy hour and dinner. Nordstrom Rack is next... This was a group business trip, ten people total. The hotel was great to work with in booking a block of rooms and adding breakfast to the account. Paul couldn't have been any easier to work with! It was nice to come back and sit by the pool in the evening. Location couldn't have been any better, there were stores and restaurants within easy walking distance. Trader Joes was almost around the corner, you couldn't beat the wine prices, we had our own happy hour around the pool. Breakfast se... Read more

I really liked this hotel. It is a newer hotel so everything is up to date and shiny. There is plenty of parking and it is in the middle of a mall, shopping, and restaurants. It is not far from great hiking and the area looks safe and there is a nice pool in the courtyard. I highly recommend this over the Courtyard Phoenix airport. Even though that hotel had nice, friendly staff, this one has nice friendly staff, is newer, and is in a much better area. I really enjoyed this hotel.

This Marriott hotel is sleek and understated, but very comfortable. We were there on a Friday through Tuesday stay. The rooms are comfortable. If you are on the first floor, you can walk right out patio doors to the gated pool. We were on the run so much, we didn't get to use the pool. The hotel is situated next to great shopping and restaurants. Or you can catch a quick breakfast (the menu was very good) and Starbucks coffee, too - but do not expect free continental breakfast here. There are al... Read more

I've stayed here many, many times while traveling on business. The majority of the guests appear to be business travelers, at least during the week. The location is great with many shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and well-maintained and the staff is pleasant and helpful. Marriott seems to know what's important to the business traveler, and this is definitely one of the best Courtyards I've visited.

This hotel is in a great, busy location with lots of dining and shopping options nearby. The hotel is fine but the rooms are outdated, and newer courtyard properties offer a much nicer experience (this is one of those courtyards that has updated the lobby and nothing else).

We stayed here for 3 nights, and it was worth it. Very clean hotel, great beds. Staff was very helpful, and super friendly. Hotel is located within walking distance from a little mall, which had various food stores, breakfast places, and much more. Courtyard was a very nice addition, and the whole hotel was an upbeat swing. We will return if we are in the Phoenix area.

First, our one quibble. It's an issue to find the hotel. It's located in the middle of a large mall and signage is missing or misleading. But once we found the hotel, it was all smooth sailing. We're Gold members, so we got a free upgrade to one of their suites. And the suite was sweet. Two rooms and quite spacious. The beds were comfortable, the interior showed little to no sign of wear and it was reasonably designed. The toilet / shower room was pretty small but that's to be expected... Read more

The rooms are dated. I thought general service O.K. but not Marriott standards. No breakfast in AM on weekends. I needed to be at a specific location at 7:00AM. No food here at 6:30 and not too many places for food on Saturday and Sunday close unless one goes to Carl's Jr. I spend a bit more because it is Marriott, but not for this facility should I be in area in future. I have stayed in several hotels that have free breakfast and rooms were better than here. Understand, no one was rude or imp... Read more

Good location but parking is difficult and it is shared with the mall parking, such an odd layout that it was difficult to even know where to go. Room was dated and we could not get the room cool enough even though it was blasting. Who wants to call maintenance in the middle of the night? We checked out first thing in the morning and decided to stay elsewhere for our remaining time.

Never stayed here before, close to shops and plenty of places to eat. More of a business hotel, excellent staff, clean, easy to jump on the freeway and 10 minutes to the airport. The Biltmore shops are down the street with lots of eating options.

Initial impression was disappointing, little atmosphere and basic room. Having said that, the a/c worked well, the bed was comfy, and everything worked nicely (shower, TV, free wifi, easy check-in/out). The small pool was a bonus too, refreshingly cool in 99 degree heat and no chlorine. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was only for one night (stop over to catch a flight) but we had a wonderful experience. Jennifer at the front desk was terrific. The whole staff was terrific. They had a situation the next morning, but they handled it professionally (over booking from another Marriott). Room was very clean. Excellent location close to Starbucks, gas stations, Whole Foods and easy access to Sky Harbor Airport and car rental drop off area.

This is a typical Courtyard hotel. It is very clean. The beds are super comfy. The lobby is new & has a little bar/bistro in the lobby. There's also a pool. Nothing fancy, bur is as you would expect from Courtyard. I've stayed here before and would do so again.

Positives: Friendly& helpful staff; clean; close to Biltmore Fashion Park (lots of good shops & restaurants); easily walkable neighborhoods, especially by the Fashion Park; WHOLE FOODS literally around the corner! Perfect for grabbing some great eats; room had a fridge; loved that the room had sliding doors to get fresh air in the room!!!!! Not so positives: Loved the pool area but the water was FREEZING. I travel about 100 days per year mostly for business. This is by far the best place to stay. The staff make you feel so welcome, they are prompt, engaging and always helpful. The hotel is located near Biltmore area with plenty of shopping and eating options. I will stay here every time I go to PHX!

Yes, the room was clean and comfortable, but why are the handicapped rooms the farthest from the lobby? My husband is not in a wheelchair; he walks using arm crutches--and it was a long walk to our room. Also, hotels seem to have trouble with the concept of a "roll-in shower". This does NOT have a bathtub at all (my husband is unable to use any sort of tub), yet we were given a room with a bathtub and had to change it. It seems that the more expensive the hotel, the less you get for your mon... Read more

The front desk and the housekeeping department is excellent. The location, the cleanliness, the feeling of comfort is truly very very good in this hotel. The disappointing Factor was the mattress was very soft. Other than that, wonderful place to stay

Being a weekly overnighter in Courtyards, I have some knowledge of Courtyards and their operations. It would be best for Marriott to close and leave this facility or overhaul' it from the ground up. The front desk staff were cold, but the housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are outdated, need a refurbishment and at a minimum a new coat of paint. You cannot find the place, as it is behind a strip mall area, which just added to the pain of this stay.

We stay here every year as the first night of our Thanksgiving visit to Phoenix. It is very welcoming, the staff is very friendly and helpfu. The grounds are beautifully cared for and the bistro is a great place to have dinner and breakfast. Our room was quiet , clean and had a balcony with a door that opened on to it.

I had booked this property due to its proximity to a business meeting, but had some reservations as a previous post stated that the rooms needed renovating. It has been 3-4 years since staying at this hotel and it's as good as I remember. One drawback is parking can be inconvenient. It is tied to a quaint shopping center which has been revitalized since my last stay. This is a plus!

The hotel is well located with several very good restaurant options - farm-to-table, upscale Italian, fast casual, sushi and sports bar all within walking distance - even in heels! The property was clean with great meeting room space and service, and the front desk and Bistro staff was friendly and efficient (even the business area was well-stocked). I will come back!
