Met with other family members to celebrate our son's graduation. It was an outstanding experience; the grounds are beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are well maintained and clean. The food was great as well. Luxurious experience with a low key, unobtrusive approach. First class.

This is our 3rd visit to the Biltmore for some R&R. I usually go to different locations when traveling but the Biltmore continues to impress! Shout out to Cherish at the concierge desk for taking care of us even when they had some water issues. Shout out to Missy at the pool for I watched her provide her own personal sun care products to a young woman who was on her way to 3rd degree sun burn. Shout out to John at Wrights for providing great direction on a wonderful meal! This is why we k... Read more

We come here once a year for a work conference and we always enjoy this resort each time! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the architecture is beautiful, and all of the workers are kind and friendly as well. We love sitting on the back porch of the main building just talking and enjoying being outdoors. There is a great vibe there. The food we ate on the property for our business dinners, lunches, and breakfast were absolutely delicious!!! Room was very clean and comfortable. Our room... Read more

I cant not remember how many times I have stayed at the Biltmore over the past 25 years but it never, never, EVER, disappoints. That doesn't mean they are perfect but it does mean that I feel better when I have left than when I arrived.

Beautiful property with terrible service. Bars and Restaurants were under staffed and in the Restaurant, the waiters were horrible. Constantly needed reminding to bring basics. Seemed amateurish. Long long wait for service at the pool and in all the bars. Was charged twice for some of my meals. Left several messages for accounting to call me back to dispute the bill, Not the level of service that one would expect from a Waldorf branded Hotel

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights. We booked through American Airlines and they waived the added resort fee. On arrival we asked for, and received, an upgrade. The room was large and luxurious. Eight swimming pools, seven tennis Courts, a shaded kids play area, upscale dining, beautiful gardens and green space, golf... And the hotel is in a great location with easy access to Sky Harbor Airport. What more could you want? We LOVE this hotel!

I‚??ve realized that all of my hotel reviews are ranked to a bar of three specific hotels. The Arizona Biltmore remains my favorite U. S. property. The location, services and the architecture surpass any other hotel I‚??ve ever visited in the U. S. If you are a Frank Lloyd Wright fan, this is your nirvana. Although the facility‚??s design is not accredited to Wright, it is a 100% Wright design. Mr. Wright‚??s understudy is the Architect of record because Mr. Wright didn‚??t have an Arizona ... The grounds: beautiful. The architecture: distinctive, unusual. The food: amazing. The experience: prison-like. My room was on the ground floor and, despite the fact it had an expansive patio, if my curtains were open at all frequent passers-by could look right in. As my room was average size, this meant right-in at the bed (which felt creepy) and didn't make for the most relaxing night of sleep. The hotel was full - no rooms on the second floor. With a second floor room, no doubt it would h... Read more

Overall, we loved our stay. We were upgraded to a cottage and loved the quietness that it offered. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and we are used to a tempurpedic. The pool was gorgeous, albeit crazy loud when they played music. So unless you got there before noon, there was no quiet retreat option for enjoying the pool. The music was so loud we could hear it inside of our cottage, which was on the other side of the resort. The pool and bar staff were very helpful and friendly, excep... Read more

Even though we are local this was our first time staying at the Biltmore. For Father's Day weekend I had reserved us a 2 bedroom villa to make sure we had plenty of room with the kids. We decided to reserve a cabana by the pool and arrived early (11:30) to enjoy the day. When I tried to check in I was told only one of the rooms (the smaller connecting room to the villa) was ready. I thought no big deal since we would be at the pool. I was told they would text me when our full room was available.... Read more

This was my second visit to the Biltmore. The first was for business and I always wanted to return for pleasure. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the resort was very quiet and tranquil. We enjoyed a cocktail outside by the fire pit and took in the beautiful weather. As the week went on the resort became very busy with conferences, corporate pool parties, and outdoor events that took over the resort. I visited the Arizona Biltmore for a work conference in August 2015. Part of the conference hall/ the property was under construction, making accessing the area I needed a bit confusing. The hotel was amazingly nice and the rooms were clean. I loved the pools and the swim up bar! The slide added some much needed relaxing after a day of work-talk. Kind of disappointed that it closed so early (I belive 5pm) in mid-August. However, the pools and swim up bar were open after that, so we quickly forg... Read more

Two of my closest friends have birthdays in June. We decided to spend a girl's night at the Biltmore. What a delightful time we had, starting with dinner at Frank & Albert's, a historic stroll around the grounds and a day at the pool, eating at the Cabana Club and dancing to the DJ! Perfect Birthday Celebration!!! Thank you, Arizona Biltmore!

This place opened in 1929 and I love the Frank Loyd Wright inspired architecture. The textile blocks, that the buildings are made of, are great to photograph! It's a wonderful experience just to walk around the manicured grounds of this hotel. The pools are very nice and all are enjoyable for sunbathing and taking a swim. This is a full resort and there's plenty of dining options available. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating and the rooms are fine -but nothing spectacular. I'd stay her... Read more

Our last visit was about two years ago, and we found the hotel really tired and in need of some TLC. We were pleased that there were distinct improvements. We were upgraded to the golf villas and had a huge suite - which was very nice also pretty far away from the main building where I had meetings. There was some chaos early on as housekeeping hadn't closed off a door to an adjoining room, so we had moved into a second bedroom before we realized that wasn't part of our area. PROS: Very nice hotel with a sprawling campus. The brunch was awesome and highly recommended. Terrific service by the hotel staff which were very friendly. CONS: The main pool had blaring music, almost like a club. There are other pools, but in the afternoon the main pool turned into a club with no available chairs. The golf course is not part of the hotel. There was no service to take your golf bags 1000' feet across the street. The staff did not know about the amenities of the golf cou... Read more

I was here for a convention, but stayed for an extra night of relaxation. The resort was not necessarily ideal for a convention in June, as it was extremely hot (obviously) and the hotel rooms were not connected to the conference rooms. Not necessarily the fault of the resort, but just possible poor planning on the conference committe's part. Visiting the Arizona Biltmore Hotel is like taking a trip back in time. Although it is well appointed, it has the feeling of the 1940's. It is really quite charming and oozing history. There are very extensive sprawling grounds which are well kept and vast. In the 1930's it was known for being a luxury oasis where travelers, executives and celebrities came to relax. What's better, to go to an average hotel and be pleasantly surprised or to a luxury hotel and be very disappointed? I wanted some peace and quiet and a relaxing day at the spa. The Arizona Biltmore has an Arizona Resident Offer (I am one) on their website but when I clicked it, it only gave the AAA and the Summer All-Inclusive Package rates. This hotel is a jewel in the desert. Drive into the Biltmore compound and prepare to be greeted by sprawling mansions, manicured lawns and sweeping fairways on either side of a private road. This area is clearly very special, where many of Phoenix‚??s great and good boast colossal homes, and the resort at the end of the road is just as magnificent. We visited for a Convention in July and it was very hot. There are many buildings in which rooms are located that are quite spread out. Many in our group had to walk a long way in the heat to the conference center. My room was fine, but I heard many complaints about malfunctioning showers, toilets and air-conditioning. Pool facilities were nice and there was bar service at some of the pools. Food at all on-site establishments very expensive.

From check-in to check-out, the staff went above and beyond. My room was huge including the bathroom. It is a beautiful property that has been under remodeling construction both time I have stayed there in the last 6 months. There is a front desk clerk that has worked both times that isn't friendly or doesn't like her job. For the money you pay including the $28 extra every day for "resort fees" isn't worth it. We have been staying between the Boulders and the Biltmore for approximately three decades. Our last stay a few years ago at the Biltmore was unsavory, however, we thought we would give it one more try. (Unfortunately, as two other guests stated "the main pool brings out White Trashes' finest" and we have to agree). What on Earth is going on Waldorf management? We stayed here at the beginning of June. The hotel really is beautiful and very well kept. While there, we had a number of issues that seemed to go completely unrecognised. Once in the room I'm not sure what was worse, the mildew smell, or the smell old a very old and outdated room. The smell was awful. These people are outstanding and caring, yes I said it, caring, what you don't usually find in large resorts. I had an issue with my wallet, and had to get some cards cancelled. We stayed at this hotel as a short weekend side trip, while attending a conference in Phoenix. My background is in Architecture, and my girlfriend is obsessed with the 1920's. Plus, one of our favorite/best hotel experiences is the Waldorf Astoria in Boca Raton, so this hotel has been on our list to stay at for quite a while. Upon arrival, the architecture is stunning. Arizona Biltmore was everything you expect from a first class hotel. Service, beautiful rooms and amenities, even the men's locker room (inside the workout room) was first class. What was surprising was the level of consideration. Every employee made me feel like I was important and was very engaging. I would go back there tomorrow if I could :-)

Wow. I can't imagine what most reviewers experienced here at the Arizona Biltmore that I did not have the good fortune to experience. This place, in my limited experience here, was a dump! I read lots of reviews here prior to booking and intentionally included the bad ones (of which there were only approx 100 out of 1300). I decided that the preponderance of evidence revealed this hotel to be a charming, beautiful, restful place. I was wrong. I reserved a Classic King. Here's the description ... Read more

This old mainstay resort in Phoenix needs a little paint detail on some of the buildings and pool exteriors but she is still a great place to stay while in Phoenix. The lobby bar and main building are a must see for any Frank Loyd Wright fans. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food in both restaurants is VERY GOOD. As a matter of fact the meal we had at Wright's was probably the best we have had in Phoenix and we have dinned at some of the best tables in the city.

The hotel is fascinating and worth seeing. Check-in is a bit chaotic if you are late afternoon- new arrivals, golfers coming back, etc. The room was an average room, do not understand when you book a room with a king, you get two double beds AND a patio with 1 chaise lounge chair - so only 1 person can sit outside at once. I have lived in Phoenix for almost 23 years now and this used to be one of the places I would always bring visitors to. It was the most classic, beautiful and authentic of Arizona experiences. We held a three day meeting here and I was so excited but when I entered the lobby, I was just sad. The cottages are considered a historic landmark so other than updates they still have the feel of many many years ago. I enjoyed the 92-foot waterslid... Read more

As I've rated this hotel 5/5 in the past, it was difficult to even write this review. My daughter and I had just ONE night to be able to enjoy this resort; we used to live in the area, and used to spend many weekends here (it was walkable from our home, so we frequented the restaurants and shops on a regular basis). When we can, we try to return to Phoenix and the Biltmore has always been our first choice. I had reserved a double queen room, with taxes the rate was almost $400/night. Upon ch... Read more

I appreciate the quality of the grounds and the courtesy and efficiency of the resort staff. Love walking around the grounds we went swimming at the pool, with my older children was very nice and we had a great time.

Hilton has ruined this fabulous property. The landscaping was dying and needed attention, the workman you have repairing this fabulous historic site with highly unskilled labor. My husband is disabled, and in pain, and had to walk 1 mile to our room and back to the car.

We are not fans of large resort type hotels but were keen to see the Lloyd Wright architecture and experience the history that is the Arizona Biltmore. From check in to departure we found the staff friendly and helpful even if at times very busy. This place seems to hold a lot of conferences which sometimes detracts from the property. However, this place is so large that accommodating such events seems not to be a problem. The art deco style of the hotel is very appealing as is its rich histo... Read more

So very disappointed in the Spa & Hotel manager. I've been here for a full week on vacation with my family and they have had every opportunity to make right what should have been a new mom's spa day great. The Biltmore was my favorite destination up until this stay. I was really excited about coming to relax, and as a new mom I planned on some serious relaxation at the spa through out this week. We've been coming here for many years and have always looked forward to our stays. Unfortunately th... Read more

You will quickly fall in love with this hotel and it's classy ambiance. From the lobby to the bar to the gardens to the room, each area feels like you are walking through a story and since there is so much history involved with the hotel, you pretty much are. Pros: Definitely a luxury resort. Well kept, great service, and spacious rooms. The beds are big and comfortable, the bathroom was wonderful, the pool was warm and fun, the food is delicious, the drinks are strong. ;) Lots of moments for p... Read more

We stayed at the Arizona Biltmore a couple weeks ago. Our stay was wonderful! It was due to the wonderful staff. Everyone went out of their way to make it perfect. We stayed in the Ocatilla building. The room was wonderful and Chris and Susan in concierge are awesome they truly care about their job and we're so helpful with any question small or large. Also the staff that works in the lounge were great always welcoming. They all are a great asset to the Biltmore Hotel. Thankyou again!:). We look... Read more

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary with a 5-night stay at the AZ Biltmore. I am a fan of the Architect, Frank Lloyd Wright and a stay at this hotel was on my bucket list. I was not disappointed. The hotel is beautiful in an artful & organic way. There are lots of quiet spaces to relax and enjoy including a secret room where you gain access if you know a special password. Lots of fun and terrific, warm and authentic hospitality.
