Staff isn't friendly . Housekeeping never replaces the coffee , have to ask for it if you are staying multiple nights. This our 3rd time staying here.

Super 8 has always been my preferred place when I travel for many reasons. I love the in-room coffee, the hair dryer and the breakfast to name a few. In Payson all of that is advertised but the hairdryer didn't work (I was late for my meeting because I had to dry my hair at the wall heater) and when I tried to contact the office no one answered. I then went down to the office to have breakfast and the door was locked. After about 5 minutes of knocking and ringing the bell I gave up when I ra... Read more

Disappointed in the room this time. Tub had cracks in it. Black mold on handicap rail. There was something that resembled a booger on shower curtain. Hair on floor all over bathroom. Room smelled like cigarettes. Parking lot is a little crowded. We travel to Payson every couple months to see the grandkids. The last time we stayed here there was black mold on the ceiling in bathroom. They moved us to a different room. Thought we would give it another chance.

The Super 8 is Payson is what you expect: no frills budget hotel. No surprises; internet speed pretty good too.

Payson Super 8. Check in was accommodating even though their computer system was to be upgraded the next day, we got through our check in without issues. Only negative was check out. Breakfast was open at 7 AM but no one was there to check us and others out. Construction next door did not start until 7 AM so that was not an issue.

Family came to town to compete in the Mogollon Monster Mudder event. Space accommodates our group size well but the hotel is outdated and the exterior could use some serious updates (especially the walkway carpeting). Service during the breakfast time was very poor with no one around and having to call someone from behind a wall. Area was not kept picked up and clean during the breakfast time.

Room seemed clean at first glance, but found big chips in bathtub, carpet 'lifted'/raised at foot of bed (dangerous for tripping), bedspread had misc spots on it (ugh). Remote for TV did not work (batteries probably).

Unfortunately we couldn''''t get into our room early and had to wait until 3pm. Fine, we finally get in our room and we go to put some stuff in the fridge and it was full of rotting food! There was old turkey meat, take out from god knows when, and tupperware with some funk!?! I removed it and took it to the cleaning ladies. One of them then came to clean the fridge, upon her arrival we also found an old coffee in the microwave??? She cleaned and left. Afterwards I went to the office to sp... Read more

The breakfast area is really small. 3 is a crowd. I dont drink coffee but there was none and everyone was complaining till 7:45. Only cold cereal, pastry and these small make it yourself wanna be waffles. Skip the breakfast and go somewhere else down the street or stay some where else for $20 more and eat their breakfast. The remote in the room for the TV had to be held head high in order for it to operate the tv and the menu was locked so I had to flip one channel at a time.

We stayed in the 2 Queen Suite, which was roomy, and on the second floor with no other rooms under it. It had a sofabed, but the mattress in it was so thin and springy that we feel every coil inside as there was little or no padding left around them, and we only used it one night. It was better to crowd into two queen beds instead, so if you are looking for a room with a sofabed I would think twice about this one, because it wasn't worth the extra money in our opinion. The 2 queen beds were c... Read more

To be fair, got the free upgrade, knowing the jacuzzi didn't work. Office clerk said none of them did right now. But the gigantic room was very comfortable. Walkin shower. The pool and spa outside were nice, but only 3 feet deep at any point. But it WAS refreshing when it was 100 degrees outside. Worth the money, I thought.

The room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable. The one negative was that there was a coffee maker in the room and complimentary coffee grounds but no carafe with which to make the coffee so we went to the lobby for the continental breakfast and the coffee there was the absolute worst sludge ever to cross my lips. Very disappointing.

Parking at this hotel was inadequate. While relaxing at the pool, with several children present, a man was sitting in shorts and drinking several bottles of beer. He picked up his phone, and in a much too loud voice said, "Google, find women who want sex in Payson." I couldn't even go to the office to complain, because my young daughter was still in the pool. This man, and I use that term loosely, was watching the kids swim. He eventually left and got into a construction truck. He wasn't even a ... Read more

We came here for a quick getaway..place is clean except you can't open your windows because of all the SMOKERS around you. ALL THE TIME! If you don't smoke this is not the place to stay!.we were very disappointed by the garbage can/ ashtray in front of every other door. The place has a nice pool, front office a little hard to communicate with. Breakfast was ok. Walking distance to other restaurants and shops. There building a Culvers next door.

We called just a few hours before we were to arrive in Payson and we were very happy there was availability at this property. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the amount of parking was awesome, because we brought 2 large trailers and we needed the space. Parking was monitored, as well, so we felt confident our quads were safe. We would DEFINATELY stay there again!

At an average of about $100 per night, you're getting exactly what you pay for. It's not the Taj Mahal, but its far from a dump. The rooms are older but they're clean. No Funky smells or annoying noises. The beds are comfy, the TV channels are endless and the hot water is plentiful. There's an on-site pool/Jacuzzi and they offer free breakfast. For a hundred bucks, what more can you ask for. The staff are great, too.

Ran into Thunderstorms in the Arizona Mountains on my way back to Leavenworth --- decided safety was more important than anything else. The Lady who checked me in gave me a room where I could keep an eye on my bike & let me put it under a stairway banister for protection from the weather. As for the accommodations themselves I always expect clean well appointed rooms from Wyndham properties --- and this Super 8 met my expectations completely ...

Stayed 1 night. Room was large, furniture and mattress in great shape, the remodelling is doing well and the good maintenance is obvious. Some highway traffic noise but otherwise a pleasant stay. Right next door to a new Culvers, a short walk to Fargo's Steakhouse and an even shorter walk to another popular breakfast/ lunch cafe (forget the name). Yup, I will stay here again.

There is something fishy going on at this hotel. When I checked in, the clerk said "the rate was wrong" and I could either call the 1-800 number or give her $10 cash. I was sick so I gave her the $10 cash. She put the cash in an envelope to right of the computer - it never made it in the cash drawer. Not an honest hotel.

Nice rooms, pool and breakfast but bad clientele and staff, staff expects clientele to be bad quality, I think. They didn't actually have cribs despite what I had seen online, and had ordered online. They said people kept stealing the cribs. Even though I paid online they demanded a credit card for damages. In the room they had a big sign telling how much each stolen towel, blanket or whatever would cost me. I think I know why they treated me like a criminal, the other hotel guests were very tra...
