We stayed at the Sanctuary resort this weekend, and the overall experience was great. We did have some room issues that were very annoying, but nothing that the hotel employees could control, things just happen sometimes. But, they went above and beyond in rectifying the situation for us. They turned a very frustrating first night into a great rest of the weekend. I normally never write reviews, but I wanted to write that I would 100% recommend this resort to everyone, the customer service was ... Read more

My husband and I just returned from our third getaway/hideaway over the past few years. The Sanctuary fully lives up to its name and more. Service, food, and room are incredible, and the serene physical beauty of the property still takes us by surprise every single time we step out of our room. Can't recommend highly enough.

I recently stayed here with my daughter and her friend. Regrettably we only stayed one night on our way to Sedona. We were in a gorgeous suite that was spacious and beautifully decorated. The views of Camelback Mountain are spectacular. We didn't have a chance to eat at their restaurant but it looked very nice.

Everything about the Sanctuary Resort is top-notch, and while we are locals to the area, we have enjoyed staying at the resort in early June over the past several years. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean, modern and extremely well-kept. The spa offers excellent services with great therapists and aestheticians. Waking up on the edge of Camelback Mountain with a view of the Praying Monk outcropping and sights and sounds of the desert is truly unique. Highly recommend!

Very nice and very comfortable, no doubt. The grounds were wonderful and relaxing, the pool lovely and clean. Views are incredible. There were bunnies on the grounds- so cute. The staff at check in and every other time were very nice and friendly, willing to help, but not in your face for tips all the time. My first stay at the Sanctuary - loved my experience! Staff were attentive and helpful, service was excellent. The views are breathtaking and there is nothing more beautiful than an Arizona sunset from your room. What I found interesting is that while I was at the pool chatting with other guests most of them were repeat customers - and for a city that has many beautiful resorts that is a testimony to how The Sanctuary provides not only deluxe accommodations but an overall experience that dra... This resort is cleverly built into camelback mountain, camouflaged into the desert terrain, quiet except for the flapping of hummingbird wings. Staff treated us like royalty. Our suite was immaculate, massive, modern and had a great view. The pool is a bit small but still nice and quiet and built into a lovely serene setting with gorgeous sunset views.

Put Sanctuary at the top of the list of luxury hotel options in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Everything here is first rate - service, rooms, complex, etc. from the first greeting by a valet we were treated as special guests. The hotel is a collection of casitas scattered up the side of Camelback and each one makes you feel as though you have a private small house. One excellent difference here is that you can actually park close to your room and don't have to deal with a valet every time you need your ... Read more

During dinner, which was fantastic, we decided that we had celebrated an bit too much, and so we asked if we could get a room for the night.
