We stayed here one night and it was a nice stay. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast in the morning was good as usual for a Holiday Inn Express. The front desk gentleman was exceptionally helpful when we checked in.

I liked this hotel. It was an average hotel, with reasonably comfy beds, and nice staff. It was in a pretty good location, and had pretty good amenities. I did enjoy the look of the hotel, as it was very classic to me, if that's relevant.

Great front desk personnel, fast check in. Hotel located on a road with many other choices of hotel brands. On the opposite site of HWY 40 is the fast food locations. Great midway stop point before grand canyon or traveling further east.

When we pulled up to this HI Express it was late and we were exhausted. My first impression as I walked in and looked at the staff was "This fella looks and feels like a used car salesman" When I asked for a price, he gave me a way above average price for Holiday Inn Express. Even with my discount for AAA, it was outrages. But, I was too tired to find another hotel, so highly annoyed, I paid the ridiculous price. It was 44 dollars more than I paid at my next Holiday Inn Express stop alo... Read more

This is my second time staying at this property, and The hotel staff is very friendly and professional on both occasions. If I ever have any issues it is corrected right away. The breakfast bar is always well stocked and always fresh. Only issue is the WiFi, could be better. Excellent crew hotel.

The location of the hotel close to the Interstate is great. The breakfast buffet was excellent but the rooms for me are tired and need some capital investment to bring them back to their best. The walls are also very thin and we could even hear next doors shower running which isn't a problem for me but may be for them! Good value for money given the excellent breakfast buffet.

I stayed one night, passing through to California. Casey at the front desk was very helpful and professional. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The price is very reasonable. Breakfast at the hotel was fresh. The pool is very clean and well kept.

I checked in for a 2 night stay. All seemed good at first. A very pleasant young lady named Skylar checked us in and gave us a nice room on the 2nd floor. We had a problem with our TV so she brought up keys to another room. We decided to stay in the original room. At 10pm I discover the air conditioning is blowing warm air and now we must move until a repairmen can look at the unit. Next morning I go to the front desk to inquire when the repair will be finished and encounter a rude young desk cl... Read more

It was a nice stay during the three days I was here. I noticed that this hotel is quite busy. From business people to whole families traveling together making a stop in town. A few good restaurants either walking or a short drive. I can comeback to this hotel anytime.

Enjoyed stay , after being sent away for attempting to check-in early, by abrasive young man. He was unable to offer any suggestions of where to eat while waiting for room to become available. Just pointed to maps on a rack. The rest of the stay, once we had checked in was fine, although swimming pool out of action, were told we could use pool in adjacent hotel. Breakfast and room okay, rest of staff for more amenable.

Great stop over hotel as we continue our road trip. Unfortunately swimming pool was closed as they had a problem with chlorine :-( Typical holiday inn express fresh and clean. Bed good and slept well. Good breakfast, required more fruit available. Reasonable price $176.50.

Very pleased with our stay at this property and will stay here again!! The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean and we were very pleased with the stay overall. We will definitely stay here again on a future trip through the area and we recommend this property to other travelers.

Do not stay at this hotel it has bed bugs! We stayed in room 115 and we got bitten by bed bugs. We actually found the bed bugs and put them in a cup. Took that to the front desk as evidence which they assured us we would get a refund. After one month of complaint calls back to the hotel and messages to the hotel manager we have NOT gotten a refund or even a return call from the hotel! This Holiday Inn Express sure made our family vacation a nightmare!

The hotel is conveniently located and the staff is friendly. The hotel is cheaply constructed with thinly insulated walls (noisey). The AC unit was very loud and on it's last legs but did keep the room cool. We had to shut it off during the night due to the noise so we could sleep. The toilet mechanism leaked and resulted in the water continuously filling. The breakfast was fine and the bed was comfortable.

Stopped in at this lovely hotel on the way to Las Vegas, I absolutely loved kingman, the area is lovely. The hotel had everything you could want, it was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. The staff are really nice and the breakfast were very tasty! This place is a must go!!!

Everything about this place is nice. We were on the 3rd floor, @ the end of the hall & it was more spacious then other rooms. So as 4/ a room on the end. Bed was nice, firm & soft pillows. Wifi. Elevator. Shower, towels was nice. Breakfast was good, lots 2/ choose from.

We didn't want to stay at the Canyon - so this seemed like a good compromise. The hotel itself is a bit soul-less, but is close to the main street in Kingman for a choice of good restaurants. Did the job for 2 nights - but expensive for a 'budget' hotel.

Starling, the afternoon/evening manager is great, she made us feel welcome and was very knowledgeable about the area, gave good advice on restaurants. This hotel is very clean and the pool is quite large for a hotel pool. Starling gave us an end room on the top floor and the view was great, the hot tub is also quite nice after a long plane ride and drive.

Same road trip as two other reviews (see my reviews of Heber Springs, AR and Shamrock, TX)...and Kingman's Holiday Inn Express didn't disappoint. Another large room, large enough for three people to roam around with luggage and other items, and very convenient to I-40 as well as other Kingman attractions. Staff was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Room was clean, as was the bathroom. Room was also very quiet. Breakfast was better than average for the usual "continental" breakfast. ... Read more

Clean modern property. I especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and spa. Staff was helpful and friendly. Easy access to the freeway but not too close. The parking was great and had plenty of room for our trailer we were towing.

Typical older HIE. Room was clean and everything worked Only problem, saw some big dogs in the AM in the lobby, asked at desk and the snide comment was "We are the only HIE that allows all animals and we even have smoking rooms" I was under impression that HIE was per free and smokless. There are other options in Kingman for a place to stay.

Supposedly all the rooms in this hotel are nonsmoking, or so I was told. Yet somehow my room smelt so horribly of cigarette smoke. I woke up in the morning smelling like a smoker, and I couldn't breathe well. Unless you are ok with your sheets, pillow, and overall room smelling like cigarette smoke to the point of waking up feeling like you are a smoker don't stay here.

Booked an overnight stay, as Kingman broke up our drive out to Williams. Checked in late, close to Midnight and the employee working was helpful and attentive. Room on 2nd floor was decent, but the entire floor reeked of cigarette smoke - not good. Good night's sleep, except for the insanely loud train that came through. Otherwise, no worries. Breakfast was standard for an HIE, clean area and all the normal, quick choices that get your day started. As my review says, an average stay for ... Read more

Disappointed in quality of room for the price. $168.41 was the rate I paid with taxes as a IHG member. Definitely overpriced for a Monday in October. I have no problem paying for quality, don't get me wrong. Plus as a commercial license holder I should have been offered a better rate. The Holiday Inn in Grinnell, Ia. cut the rate in half with a commercial license. This obsession with pre booking is wearing thin. As a OTR driver I never know where I'll end up. I know they are sitting on rooms,... Read more
