I went to Kingman Hampton Inn for some family business and had my daughter and 3 of my grandchildren with me. We all enjoyed the time spent there. The breakfast was great, the staff were super helpful getting sleeping children up to the room, the pool was nice and their attention to detail is greatly appreciated. So glad we stayed there!

We stayed here on our way through town for one night. We were extremely pleased with the friendly staff, nice decor, and clean, comfortable rooms. The beds invited you to snuggle in with perfect pillows and fluffy duvets. A great choice for a standard "box" hotel. Walking distance to many chain restaurants.

Very comfortable clean and quiet with helpful staff at this hotel which is located just over the road from the huge Kingman Medical Center and just around the corner from a handy In-and-out Burger for lunch. Cracker Barrel is very close but the best place to eat dinner is the Kingman Chophouse just down the road behind Sonic.

Flew in to Vegas, rented a car and drove to Kingman on our way to the Grand Canyon. Stayed at the Hampton and was not disappointed. The hotel was clean, the room was large and the bed was great. Stayed two nights and would certainly recommend. A tad pricey at $149 +++ but overall it was fine.

I love Hamptons and any 'cons' I mention is usually just nitpicking. They have good staff, good rooms, good breakfast and are usually conveniently located. This one met all of those standards - but I found it a little pricey @ $148 (incl tax). There were plenty of restaurants and gas nearby. One thing that irked me - there was a white compact car illegally parked between two handicapped spaces that had cars in them (he was on the marked out area between the spaces). Rooms are in need of renovation, but is acceptable. Close to the lake and within walking distance. Balcony faces the sun , so it is extremely hot which makes the use of the balcony useless. There is this unusual odor on the first floor that smells like your in a men's locker room. The price is a little steep but average for the area. Restaurants are close by and within walking distance.

The air conditioner blew directly at the bed. I could not sleep. The receptionist told us at check-in that all rooms were taken, although we placed our reservation well ahead of June 28. We didn't notice the noise and direct blowing of the air conditioner until we were ready to go to bed and get some sleep. We had to have the air conditioner on because of the heat outside. Although the breakfast was advertised as 6 AM to 10 AM, at 9:30 there was little left to eat. We complained to the front desk and were told that the hotel did not have enough food for the next two days and they were rationing the food. Usually I don't respond to these things as there is always something you can pick out and make a complaint about if you want. But in this case I was less than 10 minutes late for the breakfast buffet, which was still out, and I was told of that by one of the staff.
