We checked in for one night after a long day of canyon hiking and driving. Bed was so comfy! Pillows so fluffy ! And air conditioning worked great and unit was quiet. A very peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast buffet was great, love the waffles and eggs. Lots if fresh fruit and yogurt. And thank you for the delicious decaf coffee. Only small issue was check in, we had about 20 senior Harley riders checking in just before us and we had to wait on line about 30 minutes yo get room key. Perhaps they ... Read more

We were passing through on our way from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas, and this was a very convenient location. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable, and gave us a first-floor room near the lawn area. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the (free) wifi worked reliably. The bathroom had a translucent window so had lots of natural light in the morning, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was one of the better buffets we have had at a Best Western, with (we think) real scrambled eg... Read more

Came in about 9pm tired from driving all day and everyone was friendly both to us and our pet. they have a big assortment of food at the continental breakfast only one request please upgrade the coffee. Im a coffee drinker and it was very weak almost like water. The bed was the firmest we had encountered on our trip and was the saving grace since we had been sleeping on poor mattresses up until you. This is an excellent option for a night halt from or to Grand Canyon if the accommodation is not available inside the park. Beautiful location within a valley. The hotel itself is nice, very clean and chic rooms, with a lot of light through the large windows. Breakfast selection was average hot breakfast, but loved the waffle iron in particular.

We have stayed at the Best Western Plus A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites in Kingman several times over the past few years. We always have a positive experience at this hotel. It is well maintained and clean. The staff is courteous and professional. We think they serve one of the best free breakfasts of any hotel we've visited in recent years. It is very centrally located in Kingman. Access to Route 66 and Highways 40 and 93 is very good.

This is our east to west stop on I-40. Immaculate and a higher quality breakfast than one generally gets at chain hotels. They keep bringing out freshly made French toast, for goodness sakes. Hot tub great for a soak after the drive. Desk clerks are professional, mature and gracious. Fridge has largest separate freezer to referee your blue ice. Reasonable price for a room, everything was clean and the air conditioning was on when we arrived. The hut tub is outdoors but enclosed and kind of an odd setup. The outdoor pool is decent for a small hotel. They had a nice hot breakfast buffet included with the stay.

Not knowing exactly where we would end up today we waited until we got to a destination and decided we would stay here tonight. I had researched last night and found that Best Western were #1 and #3 so we tried the Kings Inn but they did not have any ground floor so I thank them and told them we would check at the other one but the clerk said "I would be glad to call over and check for you so you won't drive around too much." Made a mistake in the date of our stay but Trish on reception managed to find us a room which was OK. The hotel is a standard Best Western, nothing special. Kingman is basically an enlarged truck stop in the desert and is closed on a Sunday night; Pizza Hut was our only option for dinner.

My husband and I stayed here for one night in June while driving this Arizona section of Route 66. Kingman isn't very big, so there wasn't much choice for hotels and we didn't expect anything special. But in fact it WAS special for a regular hotel, from the friendly women at the front desk to the very spacious and attractively decorated room. It was super clean (including the onsite laundry facility) with good AC control and better than average breakfast included. Would stay again.

My high school days and my early military days were spent near or traveling on Route 66. We called this Best Western in Kingman, Arizona because it was on our route west. What we found was a excellent motel in a town that was filled with Route 66 memories. We visited a great Mexican restaurant for an evening meal, thanks to a suggestion by management at the Best Western. Just driving around the city that evening and seeing the sites was a fun adventure for us.

We had a nice king bed room that was pet friendly, and they charge an extra $10 for the pet, just once, not for every day that you are there. The room was large, had a nice big TV, microwave, small refrigerator, blow dryer, and comfortable bed. It was cool and comfortable. Breakfast in the mornings was busy, but they kept things well stocked, had a nice selection of hot food available as well as cereal and fruit, and had plenty of people helping. The staff was polite, the visitors were not q... Read more

This was the first time I stayed at this property. In fact I actually stayed here twice in the same week but my experiences were the same both times. The check in process was very smooth both times and I got the type of room requested. Both rooms were very quiet, well appointed, very clean, and very comfortable. Everything worked as intended including the internet. I have had many motel breakfasts but the breakfast served here, included in the price of you room, was probably the best I have ev... Read more

We just love this hotel. This was our 2nd time staying there. This time we brought friends along and they were just as impressed. You can just tell and feel that the owners care for your comfort there. All the little extras (extra towels, extra blanket, etc) and the cleanliness make a huge difference. We usually wipe things down with sanitary wipes as soon as we enter a hotel room. Not necessary in this one. You can see and feel the crisp cleanliness. The beds and pillows are soooo comfortable. ... Read more

The room was clean and comfortable, and spacious. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous. This is a motel type facility, where your front door opens directly to the parking lot, so expect a little extra noise. The AC unit is a little hard to control, and the room became extremely cold during the night; I would have preferred the standard individual unit beneath the window. Also, be aware that this facility is next to a train track, and if the AC unit is off, you will hear and feel th... Read more

We had a good overnight staying here on our way home. They had an amazing breakfast! Lots of options including already made, hot oatmeal with toppings, french toast, yogurt with granola, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs and more. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice and there was an indoor hot tub. Our room was big and the bathroom was nice and clean. There was a fridge, microwave and little counter space where we could do limited food prep. All the stores and fast food places were a shor... Read more

Standard motel style lodgings, fine for our 1 night stay. A short drive to Kingman centre, restaurant over the road be we drove to an Italian. Breakfast was fine with cereals, toast etc. The room fridge was too noisy during the night for my wife and unfortunately was hard wired in so she could not turn off

This is a decent motel with a very pleasant staff and is a convenient place to stop between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. That said, I felt misled by the hotel website's description of my room as a "King Suite." Typically, "suite" indicates a second room or at least some sort of divider. In actuality, it just had a couch with a coffee table.
