Pre-booked room 115 online. On entering room I notice there is NO FRIDGE. I went straight back to reception and was told there are no fridges in any of the rooms. As I have medication, I would NEVER have booked this hotel had I known this. At 7pm reception phoned to ask if everything was OK, I said apart from the fridge, yes. Within 15 minutes a fridge/microwave which had been found in storage, was cleaned and delivered to my room. Thank you Michael for saving me. The room contained two queen ... Read more

Our visit to Kayenta and the Hampton Inn was a little disappointing. I was expecting much, much more from this Hilton Honors hotel...especially for he price. While is is one of very few properties in this little Navajo town and probably the best one, it was disappointing to have thin towels, only tea for our Keurig (no coffee k cups), a restaurant where the servers were non name a few. Additionally, it would have been nice to know that we also had to pay an additional Navajo tax... Read more

We stayed here two nights. Once after visiting Monument Valley and then the next day after driving over to Mesa Verde and back. We are now headed to Bryce Canyon by way of Lake Powell. The hotel is sparkling and definitely worth it's awards. The rstaurant is very good with local favorites. The only thing to note is the portions are huge. highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.

The desk staff was very accommodating and had housekeeping do our room within about 40 minutes. The room was comfortable and clean. I rather missed having a refrigerator or a microwave, but we managed. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent - Navajo fry bread and fajitas. We took a three day Memorial Day weekend to see Monument Valley and the Four Corners. I was so happy with this hotel! It's the little things, like the bedside charger, the security pole in the shower, and for the first time a heated pool that was actually warm. Loved the food at the restaurant, friendly staff, a clean, quiet room (we stayed on the top floor). It's about 25 minutes to the Valley but the drive is stunning too. I will definitely continue to stay at Hamptons when we travel.

We stayed one night, en-route to the Grand Canyon! Checked in late but was welcomed immediately from the front desk. The hotel was very clean, nicely decorated, staff were helpful and offered an excellent breakfast. Also, observed a security officer on staff. Looking at the competition nearby, the Hampton would be by far the best and reasonably priced for this area. We traveled to the Grand Canyon that next morning, 2 hours to the park entrance on the Cameron side.

In the middle of Navajo country, this hotel is an oasis. It is very much representative of Navajo culture in decor, personnel, and a great gift shop. Food was fresh and good, rooms clean and welcoming, and staff were helpful. I recommend it for visiting Monumnt Valley or even the four corners area. Make sure you get detailed directions- God may get it wrong.

Great work ethic in this hotel from the room attendants and cleaning crew to the front desk staff! We arrived amidst a deadly heat wave, smelly and disheveled from a week of camping with Boy Scouts. We loved the hotel. The staff were very friendly and we only have 1 criticism and that is the pool towels were tiny. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the food and service was excellent. Our server was so polite and very chatty. The hotel is very conveniently only about 30 minutes from Monument Valley. Great place to stay.

This was an excellent Hampton...very clean and excellent service. It is about 20 miles from Monument Valley. I loved the Native American decor. The gift shop was wonderful as was the restaurant for dinner. Because there are so few places to eat, it was comforting to know we could have dinner there. We enjoyed the dinners; the food and service were excellent. Breakfast was excellent too. The beds were a bit odd, but very comfortable. I could not reserve a king room which we usually hav... I'd never been to Kayenta before so I booked the Hampton Inn based on the very positive TripAdvisor reviews. They weren't lying. The hotel and staff were excellent. Very clean, quiet rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. The free breakfast was outstanding. One morning during breakfast one of the Navajo Code Talkers spoke to everyone during breakfast and told us his amazing story and that of how the Code Talkers began. You'll make a big mistake if you stay anywhere else.

We were a party of 4 and enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Hampton Inn located close to Monument Valley. The hotel was VERY busy, as several large tour groups were staying there, but we were not overlooked and felt we were very well taken care of. We were pleasantly surprised by the free breakfast that was provided to us, we didn't expect eggs, sausage, potatoes etc.

We stayed here after visiting Monument Valley and on our way to Grand Canyon. Rooms were ok with a good amount of space. The walls of the room were paper thin. I could hear the loud American next door talking clearly, so he certainly heard our two boys! The dining room was overtaken by a bus tour and the hotel forgot they had other guests who were not part of this tour. We got stuck in the middle of breakfast in a tour guide speech which meant we could move to get our breakfast from the buffet.O... Read more

What a surprise to arrive late in the evening and find that this hotel has a lovely little restaurant. Great food and great service Clean rooms, kind staff. Great place to stay. Convenient alternative to the Monument Valley hotels that are hard to get in to. So glad we chose to stay here instead! Wish we could go back!

This motel is quite clean and comfortable. However, the restaurant was just awful. We ordered a Sheepherder sandwich that sounded wonderful on the menu but when it came out it was essentially inedible. The bread was soaked in grease and the trip tip meat was cooked so dry that it was tasteless. We informed the waitress of this and she said she would tell the cooks, however, no adjustment to the charges was made. I filled out an evaluation card and will give it to the manager in the morning but I... Read more

We did not want to pay the high price for The View hotel, so the Hampton Inn in Kayenta was a good option. You are about 1/2 drive from the Monument Valley visitor centre. The bonus is the restaurant on site as Kayenta itself only offers a Sonic or McDonalds. I would recommend you book the restaurant in advance as the hotel gets very busy with coach parties. Breakfast can also be a little cramped when the hotel is full. Clean and comfortable with a large pool. Could not fault the servic... Read more

The room was very nice, the food excellent and the service good. It really stand out substantially over any other places that we saw in Kayenta. It is convenient for a day drive to Monument Valley. It is not cheap, but neither were the other places.

Thanks to Hampton Inn for preserving a bit of history and the Navaho heritage at this property. Sunday morning we were privileged to hear a Code Talker tell the experiences of the Code Talkers during World War II. Meeting him was a highlight of our vacation.

This is a nice place to stay on a Monument valley visit. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. There is a restaurant in the Hotel for dinner, and they still provide a Breakfast. The style and structure of the building and rooms stays true to the area. It was a little more price-wise than your average Hampton, but then, you're not in an average area. I would definitely stay again.

This restaurant is way better than you would expect in a Hampton Inn. Several dishes offered had Navajo influences. Great seasonings, I had the green chili pork stew, which was excellent. Hotel was very nice too?????

Pleasant and friendly hotel and staff. We thought the pool would still be open, but it was closed for the season. Interesting dinner menu. The location is great and easy to get to, near Monument Valley.

Great base camp for excursions into Monument Valley. Clean, nice room. Gift shop in hotel. The young man at the front desk (wish I could remember his name) was the most enthusiastic front desk person I have ever seen. The stay was priced well and I rested very comfortably.

Awesome hotel, great staff, good breakfast, and clean. But i had native American men accost me asking for money in the parking lot at night when I came in and again in the morning. Because of that I would not stay again for safety reasons.

Hotel was clean and well taken care of. Had an outside pool but not sure if there was one inside. Microwave, refrigerator, hairdryer etc. Many pillows. Stay was only one night as we were on a tour of the National Parks. Saw Monument Valley. Would recommend this trip to anyone. Absolutely beautiful.

Stopped here on way from Moab Utah to Las Vegas to break the journey and see Monument Valley. It the best hotel in town and reasonable good. The restaurant was not great in my view, it basically the Hampton breakfast room, I did a separate review for the restaurant, again they don't have competition. It's clean comfortable and reasonable.

Adequate motel, comfortable to rest in. We stayed here after the Monument Valley. Could use some lighting in the parking lot. There is a grocery store across the street that might help if you are leaving early to view more of the sites of Arizona.

Maybe the best in town but doesn't do it for me. No fridge or microwave in the room, cracked tiles on the floor and thin walls were you can here the TV next door. Ate food in the restaurant and that too was poor. Trying too hard with the topping on the burger and the ribs were far too rich. Wi-fi was just ok and breakfast was ok apart from the hot water being Luke warm for tea and had to wait 15minutes for the coffee after me and another asked for it to be refilled.

We chose this hotel because of the stars advertised (3) and the services offered. We have stayed at Hampton Inns before and expected a quality stay. The price was high enough that it should have offered all the services they advertised. Check in was easy and pleasant but upon entering the room (which was very small) we found there was no microwave or refrigerator. We were carrying perishable items and needed the microwave for medical reasons. There were holes in the counter under the TV tha... Read more

We had just spent 3 days in Vegas and were looking for a quiet, clean, reasonably priced place to stay and were we ever pleased with our "Kayenta Experience"! We visited the gift shop, the restaurant and the gym and were so impressed with the cleanliness of the entire building! The staff in all venues were extremely pleasant and professional. Stayed here for one night in between trip from MV to GC, and were certainly not disppointed. The surrouding is not very inspiring but the room itself was good, as was dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff. Internet was a bit slow and facetiming did not work well. Free parking. Will most likely not come again but would certainly advise to sleep over instead of driving additional hpurs in order to reach Flagstaff

After a long hot day on the motorcycle I was ready for a nice motel to cool of and relax. My GPS showed a few motels in the vicinity of Kayenta, AZ and I chose Hampton due to brand name recognition. Wow, did I ever make a great choice. This place is run by the local Navajo tribe and its cleanliness, customer service and amenities should be an example for all other motels. In all my travels I have stayed in a lot of motels and hotels but none comes even close to how clean, comfortable and well ru... Read more
