Don't usually stay in Holiday Inn Expresses due to having been in a few not the greatest ones. We decided to stay an extra day in Sedona and was able to find a room here since it was a weekend. Staff was very friendly and upon getting into our room, I found it to be very new. When getting ready to go and get something to eat, we heard a dog barking, but the book in the motel clearly states "no pets allows", so we thought we were just hearing one from the surrounding area - WRONG!!! Breakfast good choice, lift to second floor, swimming pool in centre of complex. Enjoyed our stay, hope standards ar... Read more

Very clean and modern hotel. Room was great with modern furnishings and awesome shower. I really liked this hotel and feel it is the best value in Sedona and its a few miles away from all the traffic on the quieter side of Sedona. Highly recommeded.

A nice hotel, newly renovated. In a good location. Rooms were clean and had plenty of storage, breakfast typical of these chains. The staff was very nice. Very thin walls though, you can hear everything so bring ear plugs.

We stayed here while seeing what Sedona had to offer; located not too far away from the downtown stores. The folks at the front desk were very helpful with a quick check in and recommending nearby sites. Nice pool as well, and breakfast was a great way to start the next day. I'd definitely recommend this hotel!

Sedona was beautiful. This particular holiday inn though is geared more towards If everything else is booked, then ok maybe stay here. They did have a pretty good size Breakfast available with your stay. But then again you get what you pay for. Key note: this hotel is not in the heart of Sedona. It's the like 10 min away. I was hoping to stay closer to town but we went on such a whim everything was booked.

This hotel is extremely well run and the decor is exceptional. It's right out of a decorator magazine, very clean and contemporary. The breakfast is a cut above and the room is spotless. The staff is very welcoming and help. We had the pleasure of interacting with Jahmaia, Rita, Jeff and Michael. It would be great to spend a few nights here.

Exquisitely kept property. Even the public areas were spotless. The well kept rooms were complemented with a large flat screen TV and blinds that can keep out a significant portion of the sunlight: giving the option of controlling room illumination and temperature. The staff were well trained and very welcoming. Instead of a one a year day trip to Sedona, we will spend a night at this hotel at least once every quarter. Thanks for redefining hospitality.

Made an impromptu trip north to escape the heat of Phoenix. Found this gem on tripadvisor, so glad I did! The rooms and public areas are clean and bright, housekeeping does an excellent job. The beds are comfortable and a simple breakfast is included, both hot and cold items. Great location, away from the touristy part and within walking distance of a few places to eat. Good view of the red rock from my window. Nice relaxing few days visiting the shops and hanging out at the pool. There seems to... Read more

It is hard to review a location when you are mixing with the work crews, and may be staying in a room that is not completed. But it is also fair to say that the work crews were very polite, the management friendly and helpful, and the room clean and comfortable. Not perhaps a first choice for us as we do not usually travel on a tight budget. We like the amenities. However, the Sedona area can be hard to book, especially if you are just "in the area" and decide to stay over for a while. For ... Read more

This hotel seems to be new and still working on rooms. We were in room 210. Did not look finished. I could live with the few small things not finished but I very disappointed with the shower! It is a walk in shower with all glass. My husband showered first and told me he had to use all the towels because the shower does not hold the water in and flooded the bathroom. I did not shower because I did not want to flood it anymore and the towels were soaked! We checked out and I let the clerk know. H... Read more

If you are going to spend most of your time out in Sedona exploring and want a quiet, clean place to retire for the evening, then i strongly recommend the HGI. The hotel is brand spanking new and the rate very affordable compared to other similar hotels in the area. Also enjoyed the courtyard pool and hot tub. We visited Sedona on a Monday and Tuesday, which enabled us to avoid the weekend surge in visitors. As a result it was very relaxing. The front desk staff were hospitable and helpful. Easy parking. We took advantage of the free breakfast before our family excursion the following morning. The rooms are clean and updated, minimalistic design, with newly renovated bathrooms. No complaints. This is a new and modern Holiday Inn Express. The staff (Reda) was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. She even called after we were in the room, a little while, to ensure everything was to our liking. The room was super clean and the most modern I have stayed in.
