You can always count on Country Inn to be a great place to stay. The staff was very helpful & friendly. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable & clean & in good repair. Good location. Easy access to the interstate as well as the downtown area. We wished we had more than one day to explore. Great time.

Would recommend this to anyone who wanted a nice hotel in a beautiful area to stay at. Few additional comments. The free cookies at check in was a nice touch in the lobby. The hotel was a fine for a 2-night stay. It was a little far from the city center, but not a real problem. We were given a handicap accessible room, although I do not recall requesting one. Closet space was almost nil as it was more of a tall furniture cabinet with a few hangars. Breakfast was available with both hot and cold items, however the hot items were not very hot and lacked much flavor. The staff seemed very nice.

Overall this hotel was very clean, staff friendly, location close to a lot of your attractions. Good value. Breakfast was what I expected considering what you pay. Fresh fruits advertised was not really freshly cut it was from a container, I know because I used to work in a restaurant. Need to have more cookies on supply because they ran out and my kids were disappointed. Other than that I'd definitely recommend to friends and family

Hotel was good but could probably do with some modernization. Staff were friendly and i liked the way they called your room about 10 minutes after you got there just to make sure you were happy with everything. Bedroom was clean and you get a free breakfast. You have to time it right to get a seat, or just take it back to your room. There was ample parking and it is located not far from the freeway. It advertises it is in within walking distance of local restaurants, there is one the Village... Read more

We stayed two nights at the Country Inn and Suites, and the room was clean and nice. The room originally was to be $150 per night, which would have totally not made it worth the cost. However, Carlson had a sale on rooms at that hotel, so we got the room for $106, which is really all it's worth. The size of the room was rather small for the 4 of us with two queen beds. The hotel is by the railroad tracks, but we never heard the trains. The pool area was clean and pool and spa were clear. The... Read more

The hotel is located on the east side of Flagstaff within 3 miles of the downtown district and NAU campus. The hotel has done a great job soundproofing because the train is not very loud. Believe me - that can be a problem in Flagstaff! The hotel has a very nice hot breakfast with a variety of delicious things. When we checked in, the smell of fresh cookies was in the air! They are constantly making fresh cookies for the guests! Yummy! The pool and hot tub are indoors and very well maintained. I... Read more

The staff was over the top helpful and friendly. Our room smelled fantastic and was very clean. The only drawback was that there was no laundry on site. You could use the laundry at the hotel across the street if you wanted, but after a long drive I did not want to carry all my clothes across the street. The breakfast was OK. Although it was advertised to be served until 9:30, much of the food was gone at 8:45 when I went down and they did not replenish it. No waffle mix, no syrup, no eggs... Read more

The hotel is tiny and you kind of have to look for it. The rooms are also on the smaller side but clean and modern enough. The hotel is located about 3 miles from the downtown historic district in Flagstaff. We drove to the downtown area for dinner. Parking downtown is free. The hotel is located about a block Business I-40 or Route 66. Our room was quiet and we did not hear any traffic noise. Breakfast is free. It's the typical breakfast you obtain at a budget hotel. Our room was clean. The staff was friendly and provided us with some excellent dinner recommendations. We stayed 2 nights - no complaints.

When my husband and I rolled into Flagstaff last week we had no idea where we were going to stay. Trip Advisor helped us find this place and we were very happy with the results. It's in a "Goldilocks location"...that is, not in the center of town but not too far away either. I wanted something a little quieter but still close to the great restaurants in town and the wonderful national day trips we'd planned to the nearby national monuments. This place was perfect. Had the experience of staying at this quiet hotel for a night while visiting The Grand Canyon. The room could have used a little extra room, however it served its purpose. There were eating places and a Whole Food Store within a short drive. As well as a Walmart. The staff was friendly. The room had a mini fridge and a microwave. They had a nice breakfast buffet. This property is a renovation and rebranding of an old-style Hampton Inn, with room sizes appropriate to the 1970's We stayed in a handicap accessible room, which had an enlarged bathroom, but made what was left of the room size basically unnavigable and almost claustrophobic. Staying in Flagstaff is ideal away from the noise of the passing train on the railroad track. After our first stay here this has now come to our mind whenever we plan to be in Flagstaff. Location is close to our favorite Italian restaurant off Route 66 and within close distance to shops and markets without encountering hordes travelers and students. I would have rated excellent if there was a nightlight in the bathroom and switching on the light there did not also turn on the loud fan as well.

Our department that makes the reservations found this hotel on the internet and picked it based on the reviews already posted. Plus it appeared to be easy to find since hotels off HWY 40 have been a little difficult to access by other employees in the past. Not only was it easy access, but turned out to be a great place with great beds, especially after traveling for several hours. Breakfast was not that great but it did the trick.

We stayed at this hotel using my rewards points and it was perfectly fine. It was over an hour to get to the Grand Canyon from here, but other than that it was remote to things like other National Parks and State Parks. There were many dining options to choose from in the immediate area as well. Oh and like always, the pillows were way to soft. This isn't a hotel brand specific thing, because I have experienced this everywhere.
