"As the saying goes ... 'You get what you pay for'. We booked this hotel primarily because we needed a place for our dog to stay last minute. From the time we walked in to the room, it was obvious that we didn't make a good choice at all. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, the carpet was dirty, the sink in the bathroom was clogged, the outlets on one side of the room did not work, the room phone did not work. No outlets in the bathroom . The floor in the bathroom seemed very weak. It creaked a lot and bowed in some areas when walked on it. Felt like we were in an old single wide trailer. Luckily we didn;t stay in the room much during the day & night. When we eventually went to bed, the sheets were wrinkled and not clean smelling at all. Didn't appear to us that they were changed since the last customers slept in the room. The pillows were flat, and we could feel springs in the mattress. Twice we walked to the front desk (since the phone did not work) to complain about some of these issues, and could not find anyone to assist us. When we FINALLY checked out Sunday morning ... again we could not find anyone to assist us. One of the maids just told us to drop the key in the 'late night key drop box'. Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life. The only good things about the hotel was that they took pets & were inexpensive ... after after staying there ... the term I should use is 'cheap'. We have stayed at several other hotels in Flagstaff that accept pets, are reasonably priced and we had a great experience. I strongly recommend to spend the extra $$ and stay any other pet friendly hotel in the Flagstaff area ... just not this one."
