I am almost reluctant to give only 3 stars as we have used this hotel for a conference for the past 7 or 8 years and for a different conference for probably 5 prior years. The rooms are spacious and include a microwave and refrigerator and desk. This is the perfect conference hotel for our setting as we use the meeting rooms and have a meal served outdoors in the patio area outside of the meeting rooms. The staff are awesome - friendly and helpful. I am hoping they do some soon upgrades. The h... Read more

Stayed here one night and had event in conference center next day. Hotel was decent, but surrounding neighborhood loud. Day of event restaurant had sign on door that stated "closed for plumbing issue". Event support was terrible. Never saw event planner. Breakfast reception was a disaster. Lunch was catered in. Service was slow, food cold. Next couple of days we found out restaurant was closed by health department due to people getting sick. Plumbing issue was a lie. Never stay her... Read more

Let's begin off with the amazing service staff. We had our wedding back in February, and let me tell you what a great experience me and all my family had. There was not one point where the holiday inn disappointed me. Everywhere from ease a booking for 250 people in the banquet room, to the amazing food, and let me tell you those chicken fajitas were delightful! We also had the privilege of staying in one of the guest rooms and that was amazing. You have a great team! We continue to tell all of ... Read more

The guest rooms I stayed in for my sister's weeding were so cozy and provided enough room for my big family and I. Although, my experience was short lived it turned out to be positive thanks to the great service that the Holiday Inn gave me. I would for sure recommend this to anyone that's looking for quality service.

Most of our stay certainly was what you might anticipate from this chain, but not breakfast. On somewhat of a time schedule, the buffet should have been full. All the chefs must have been late to work that day. And when they came out with trays of food for the hot table, they were dressed in what appeared to be pajamas. Cute for kids, but NOT adults coming to work - especially in a service environment. They're always ON stage, in the public eye. And in our room, walking across the carpet I notic... Read more

The motel was a pleasant surprises compared to some of the places we have stayed this trip. Walked into a pleasant lobby. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was nice and spacious. Used the laundry and it was convenient. The worst part came when we went to the pool. It was in bad need of skimming. There were lots of debris in it and the whirlpool was out of order but that was not the problem. All the debris in the whirlpool was disgusting. I wasn't too thrilled about the deck either a... I was at a conference today at the Holiday Inn in Casa Grande, AZ and I had the honor of being served by the most wonderful, helpful and efficient catering manager, Mr. Hector Savala. He not only provided things asked of him, but when he heard through other attendees that I was really wishing for a cup of coffee, he came searching for me to find "the woman who was in need of coffee". This may seem a bit silly, but I had gotten up at 0230 in the morning to drive to this event and I was presenti... Read more

I occasionally like to get away from the house to relax and I usually go to one of the lesser expensive hotels in Casa Grande, but I decided to spoil myself and I made a reservation at the Holiday Inn. The lobby was very warm and inviting and check in went smooth. I was on the 4th floor with a nice view of the patio/pool area, it was very pretty. I had a spacious room and slept very well. I would highly recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family and I will be staying again.

On June 23, 2016, our company held a hiring event at this location. Mr. Hector Savala, Senior Catering Manager and his staff were very helpful and accommodating for this event. Mr. Savala was very attentive to our needs and checked in frequently during the event to make sure everything was going as planned. I would recommend this location to anyone who appreciates excellent service and attention to detail!

My family stayed here in April while visiting parents. Our experience was underwhelming at best. The hotel itself is a relic from a bygone era of bad claustrophobic hotels that someone tried to spiff up, but gave up after facelifting the lobby. The dirty carpets and tiny barely functioning elevator made us want to cringe. I wish someone had given an honest review as we would have stayed elsewhere. I second a previous comment who stated the breakfast was comical, I mean lopsided and dysfunct... Read more

This hotel was the best in town, great quality service. Honorable mentions would be Alfredo and Genesis at the front desk. The bar and restaurant was also great, very quick service and they were always kind and courteous. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

We have stayed at this holiday inn for at least 4 weeks out of the year for a couple years now. It is nice to be able to talk to the receptionist like a friend and not some stranger. Cynthia makes us feel welcome every time with a good attitude and a smile ! She always tries to accommodate us the best she can. This kind of hospitality is what makes us want to stay here time and time again!

We had a very late check in, but the front desk clerk was very friendly, even though it was almost 11 p.m. I told him we were celebrating my birthday and he made sure to note it on the account for the weekend. I was wished Happy Birthday by all the associates that I encountered that had access to that file. It was very nice. We had a 4th floor room with a view of the pool. The only downside to the hotel was that it was right next to the train tacks. TAKE HEART! They provide ear plugs. Nice touc... Read more

The Holiday Inn Casa Grande was the perfect stay following 6 nights in our RV. The reception staff was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Our king size bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet all night. Even though it was a very warm evening, we were able to turn off the A/C and the room remained cool and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Huge one bedroom suite with large patio (2 chairs and table too). Just stayed for one night. Room was clean but old. Pool was cold (late September), not heated, hot tub was warm but not hot, but served the purpose. Restaurant was not good at all although the service was excellent. Would not eat there again, but would stay at the hotel again. Plenty of food choices around, we were just so tired of driving we chose to eat at the hotel restaurant. Big mistake.

We are a family of 5 so it takes a lot for us to request a room change since we have way too much stuff to make it an easy feat (in fact, this is the first time for us) but the bathroom was so gross I couldn't even bathe my children in the bath tub. There was a hair stuck in the mattress pad and initially we thought the toilet had not been cleaned but I think the stains might actually be from the water since no amount of flushing seemed to make a difference. Just spent 3 nights at this location. Price was reasonable, it was clean and not too worn out for an older property. It looks like they are doing some roving remodeling of rooms and areas. I didn't eat at the restaurant so I can't tell you much about it. My one beef is that the trains run through the valley and blast their horns all night. About once an hour it was enough to wake me. Not the property's fault, but wear earplugs.

Booked the hotel based on above average reviews. Not sure if I was given the worst room in the house or all rooms were the same. Originally booked for 5 nights of stay, however, after the less than pleasant experience of the 1st night, decided to move on and book another hotel for the remainder of my stay. mainly due to the strong cigarette smoke smell in the rooms and the extra thin walls. Tried to open the windows but no luck. When you can clearly hear every word from the adjacent room, then ... Read more
