Great Resort and Villas are very spacious and decorated beautiful! The spa and pool area are very clean and the grounds are breathtaking! The staff is very friendly and willing to help in any way. The food and bar area are very well staffed and everything we ate and drank was first class!

Every room is a free standing casita (little house). Casitas are very large and well appointed. It's so spread out that they'll send a golf cart to pick you up and drive you around the resort. Wild havalinas root just outside your casita in the morning. The golf course is extremely well maintained. The pool sits at the bottom of the largest natural stack of boulders you can imagine.

My partner did her review on Yelp, I'm doing mine on Tripadvisor, this is only my perspectives. This resort is very beautiful and huge! We went through the security gate which had our check in information ready. Then drove quite a while inside the resort to get to the main lobby, where you are greeted by bell service. Check in was painless and a lot was explained to us. Including the $30 resort fee per day, which has the bell service tips included, so you dont have to tip every person that he... Read more

Close to great restaurants in the little town of Cave Creek. Don't forget about Scottsdale...everything you could possibly want

Living in Mesa, Az. This was a great getaway for us. The temperature is cooler and the scenery is beautiful. I love the way they light up the rocks at night. My husband & I stayed for 3 nights in room 318. We were greeted by valet/bellhop. They were very nice and new a lot about the property. All the staff was very accommodating. I love the way the room looked & we even had a private patio. The bed was my favorite part! Very soft & comfortable with my favorite squishy pillows. I wish the towels ... Read more

We arrived at the boulders and were escorted to our room by golf cart on small pathways that took us through beautiful desertscape and views of the golf course. We walked into our room and were very pleased with the rock floors, pebble shower walls and Arizona decor. The atmosphere on the grounds was quiet and serene. Really enjoyed the capacity to text versus using the phone for service. At the course my clubs wore loaded on the cart and water was given to us at the start,

I cant say enough about the staff, as theyare extremely helpful, accommodating and cheerful! The food is really wonderful (mainly had breakfast and lunch on property). While the views are very pretty, if you are not the "Outdoors type" then this is not the place for you. I found this hotel the be very rustic by my standards of a 5 star resort. I am also not into 'Spa treatments" and I don't play golf.

If you're looking for an oasis in the desert, stay at the Boulders. The casitas are spacious with great views. There were a few "meh" moments, food was generally okay, but not extraordinary, especially for the prices. I didn't find the spa to be as enjoyable as others I have stayed in, namely Sanctuary. This is probably because of a mix-up I had with a masseuse. But, the manager showed compassion and concern and worked to resolve the mix-up, which meant a lot to me. Although, I ultimately did ... Nice resort in a beautiful setting. Customer service lacking at this hotel in all areas. Trouble with reservations, we had to call 3 times to get the room we wanted. None of the amenities promised were available when we arrived. Staff seemed uninterested, calls to the front desk yielded no results. Restaurant staff was slow and inattentive. Bar service was also very slow. I expected so much more from a five star hotel. We spent a lot of money for very little here.

This is the first non-positive review I've ever left on any review site. From the reservation to checkout, the staff at the Boulders was surprisingly rude and incompetent for a major hotel. I'm not quite sure where to even start with this review; its definitely not what I anticipated writing after booking at 5-star resort with such stellar reviews. That being said, none of this is what I experienced at Boulders. The check-in process was very smooth and while I didn't get much detail about the property I can let that slide since it was 1AM. Upon check-in the hotel room was beautifully appointed, and the bathroom was very spacious but that's when things started taking a turn. Going ... Read more

We were in the 2 bedroom Saguaro villas which very spacious and well appointed with everything you would need. There was a pool just outside our villa and was like our own pool as on one used it. The property is huge and secluded and very luxurious. We had our kids there (9 and 11) and though the resor\t is more for relaxing and less kid oriented we were still able to keep them entertained with the pool, hiking the boulders, and fishing in the pond. Rooms are large. There were maintenance issues, running toilet, clogged sink, dirty rug in bathroom. The golf cart chauffeur option is nice, but they are too aggressive driving on paths, people walking have to constantly get off the path instead to avoid carts. The spa services were nice, but the hydrotherapy area and waiting area needs. There aren't many options for dining and one of the options is closed for the summer. The Boulders Resort & Spa has everything you want in a 5-star experience--EXCEPT adequate internet service. While the staff and resort met my expectations, it fell far short on providing adequate internet services in my room. For 4 nights I was without an internet connection which in this day and age is unacceptable. This was a business trip and not having the means to adequately communicate with my team and prepare the reports and service needed proved to be extremely frustrating.

Our family had a wonderful holiday stay in a three bedroom villa. Big screen TV, great kitchen, awesome spa and fitness classes. Morning hikes around the property, and close to charming Cave Creek. A great multi-generational location.
