First let me start by saying I generally just look for a place to lay my head down where I wont catch anything when traveling but this was a business trip and as such was getting expensed so I spent about twice what I normally do to stay here. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and the temp was always where I left it so that was perfect. You can walk a short distance to McDonald's the next building over as I did (vending machine was 2.50 for a coke). I think my only complaint was break... Read more

There isn't much of a selection of hotels in Fairbanks, AK. I chose Hampton Inn & Suites because I'm a Hilton Honors member. My stay was great. The front desk was accommodating and friendly. The complimentary Wi-Fi was the but a little slow. Room cleanliness was good. I utilized the business center several times a week to scan, print, copy, and check email. This was a beautiful and clean hotel. The standards that one would expect from a nice hotel in the lower 48 are met here. I thought it was a little pricey, but the price is on par with other hotels in the area. At least here you get what a good hotel should have: clean rooms, friendly and knowledgeable staff, hot complementary breakfast, and good location.

Not scenic Fairbanks but the comfort and quality of the hotel are worth it. No restaurants in easy walking distance. We stayed in a variety of hotels throughout Alaska & the beds here were definitely the best. The pool is great.

Fairbanks Hampton is conveniently located less than a mile from the best shopping area in Fairbanks. The facility is comfortable and well maintained, the staff friendly and helpful. I have stayed here since the hotel was built and it is my preferred hotel not only in Fairbanks but any other city I visit. Hampton Inns are consistent in all cities, unlike other chains I have experienced.

We came to Fairbanks two days early to extend our cruise and I used my HHonors points to book the room. The property is located almost equidistant from the University (and museum), airport, and downtown and directly across from the shopping center which includes a Walmart. I have not ever stayed at a Hampton Inn, but after looking at reviews on Trip Advisor we decided we would try this one out and I'm glad we did! The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. I really liked the breakfast buffet and that it was open until 10am. With a late flight, it was nice to sleep in a bit and still get to enjoy the breakfast.
