I recently stayed at the Lakefront, and the hotel was very nice. Clean, comfortable, great bar and restaurant, I could go on about how this is a great hotel, and I work in hotels, but you don't want to hear that. What you do want to hear is the AMAZING service Tony behind the front desk provided. Let me start by saying there were no mistakes made, and standard procedure was followed to the T. My debit card was pre-authorized for a specific amount, the correct amount for my stay, however I had ... Read more

I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. From the decor, to the Lake Hood experience, the wonderful room/comfy bed, good food, and to the friendly and accommodating staff. We enjoyed every moment of our stay! We had the pleasure of working with Tony in regards to a Northern Lights adventure and learning more about Alaska. He also assisted us with an extended check out time and then once our departing flight cancelled made sure we had a ride ready for us at the airport and he took care o... Read more

I stayed here over a few days and was very happy with the room and the hotel. But it was the willingness of the staff to help out on some special requests that made the hotel really stand out. Great location and view too!

The hotel is worth every penny! The rooms are clean, spacious and very nice!! The hotel restaurant The Fancy Moose Lounge has amazing food, atmosphere and an amazing view of Lake Hood! I had a Fliet Migion and my wife had the King Crab legs. The food was off the charts for the price!! We ate at another restaurant in town and paid almost double for a similar meal. I did not even have the option for the cut of meat I desired. The staff was very welcoming and friendly! The food was cooked and prep... Read more
