Hotel and staff very nice. My room ended up being comp'd. I got no sleep due to the guest in the room next door causing a huge disturbance from 2:30am until I Finally just packed up and checked out at 6am after calling the from desk and complained at 3:15 am and 4:30 am and the problem continued.

They reserve your room at the highest rate when usually lower rates are available through a travel agent. Make sure to check your bill before you leave, I was charged for extra days and took many phone calls to resolve.

This hotel is not downtown, but in a quiet area, with other hotels nearby, and a few casual restaurants and a Starbucks :) within easy walking distance. The shuttle service to downtown and to Providence Hospital is excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden...it is a great hotel with easy access to the airport as well as downtown Anchorage and number of restaurants. We used this as our "base of operations" for exploring in Portage, Whittier, and Seward. Everything was wonderful, but I want to point out the incredible desk staff for our LATE arrival on 6/27. I really wish I had gotten her name but the desk staff that evening was easily the kindest and most pleasant person I have EVERY encountered in years ... Read more

I booked a couple of rooms for 2 nights into the Hilton Garden Inn for some sightseeing prior to us beginning our Princess Land and Sea vacation. Rooms were ok, not the usual standards for Hilton. Clean. Adequate service but nothing special. Very small restaurant area..did not appeal in variety to our family. No warm cookies or other welcoming in the lobby. They did have water and coffee available and a welcome snack as a HHonors member. There was a long ( over an hour ) fire alarm test goi... Read more

My wife and I were traveling to Denali and spent one night in Anchorage before heading north. The hotel is easy to find. It's just off "C" street which is one of the main streets in Anchorage. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet and large. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is free and plentiful. There is free coffee in the rooms and free Wi-Fi (which worked very well), but breakfast is not complimentary. We paid $148, which I thought was fair and in keeping with the other An... Read more

Breakfast was excellent. Custom made omeletes, fresh breads, and great service. Omar, Rose and Avion made our breakfast very special. The hotel room was big (room 304) comfortable, great hot shower and big fluffy towels. The room has a Keurig coffee machine! And the front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a shuttle from the alaska Railroad station. Very convenient.

This hotel had work being done. We were placed on a floor level where painting was being completed. We had someone working outside our door until 10:00pm. Equipment was sometimes in our way, because it was placed right outside the elevator at times. There was a cord that was stretched from outside our room to the elevators so you had to be careful not to trip over it. There was never a warning that work was being done.

Our room was very nice, always clean when we returned from a day of sightseeing. We chose this property for the Hilton name and the fact we are Honors members. It was convenient to the airport and served as a spot to spend the night after our late arrival from Florida. It was well-located next to a TGIF and Golden Corral. It is self-park and easy to get in and out. Good Hotel but spoilt by the airconditioning unit being of an old type and being in the room so that when it came on the fan almost deafened you. Staff were very friendly and the hotel does run a curtesy bus which drops you of and picks you up in town

The staff were extremely helpful with directions and pointing out local activities. The room was comfortable and very clean. We received immediate attention when asking for additional service. We will stay at this location again in the future.
