Stayed in Tuscaloosa on our way to Atlanta because Jackson, Mississippi turned out to be so scary. This hotel really helped us out. It was clean, and friendly and we felt safe. We were probably there less than 6 hours. But,thank you!

This was one of the most pleasant , appealing hotels I have stayed in a very long time. From the cleanliness of the room to every possible food you could ask for on the breakfast buffet- this was way beyond average. This hotel offered a superb experience and I will stay here every chance I get. Thank you.

Great hotel. No complaints regarding the staff. They were all very helpful. I never made it to the pool, so I can't comment on that. Breakfast was good (7/10). Eggs were pitiful, but having to make mass quantities probably had something to do with that. There is a variety of breakfast foods, so I was able to still fill up. Fitness room was small, but had enough workout equipment for a full body workout. better than many hotels. Check-out/Check-in was easy breezy. I really don't have any complain... Read more

Hampton Inns have almost invariably offered an exceptional value for us. Large comfortable clean rooms, complimentary breakfast, and helpful friendly staff. We also like the complimentary wifi. We have found them to be located in convenient places, often within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

I stay at this hotel almost every month. As far as what to expect, it stays very consistent. The rooms are clean. I have even been there during slower weeks when they are cleaning the carpets. It is nice to see a hotel clean carpets as sticking to hotel carpets in my socks is a pet peeve of mine. The grounds are kept up nicely. My kids really enjoy the pool area. Again, super clean with fresh towels laid out every morning. The breakfast offers a good variety of foods for about everyone in... Read more

Our room was very nice and classy looking. The breakfast was very good also. They have a refill station for your water bottles which is cool. The only thing I hated about his hotel was the height of their bathtubs. When I stepped out of the shower I wasn't expecting such a big drop. I tripped out of it. Aside from that, everything was wonderful.

Very convenient location on the North side of Univ of AL. A bit isolated from shopping. Rooms were clean beds comfortable. Hotel is a little old, but staff does good job cleaning, even saw them sweeping up in the parking lot. Doesn't have self-service Laundry, which was a drawback. Complimentary Breakfast was standard for Hampton Inn, which is one of the better ones. Wish weekdays breakfast ran a little later (i.e. 10 vice 9), but weekends runs thru 10.

Only stayed 1 night. Really convenient location to the U of A and easy to get to most of the popular stuff. The room was nice and the breakfast was good. The staff was good. Only issue I had was that all of the TV's HD channels would cut out for a second or two every minute or so. I called the front desk to inform them. They didn't seem to worried about it or making it up to us. It was early in the evening. Since it was after hours there was probably not much they could do about it, bu... Read more

I stay at this chain for work travel and have never had any issues. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the rooms while they all look exactly the same are clean and comfortable. I love the filtered water fountain in the lobbies of most and the to go bag for snacks if you don't have time for breakfast is also a really thoughtful benefit of staying here.

Stay only one nite. Everything was great except for the noisy air conditioner and the dirty lounge chair in the room. When checking out the associate at the front desk asked if everything was satisfactory and when I explained my concerns they said no charge because you must be 100 percent satisified. Stayed here for a work conference at UA. Room was clean and nice, biggest complaint was that the temperature of the room seemed to be either too hot or too cold, could not get air conditioning to a comfortable level. Location is good as far as access to UA campus, but very awkward to get to with lots of surrounding road construction makes it less than ideal for commuting much. Free breakfast was more than adequate.

We stayed this past weekend during sorority rush, tax-free weekend, and graduation but were there to visit family. As busy as it was, the hotel did not feel "crowded" and the staff was not at all flustered. Rooms were cool, staff extremely friendly, and amenities (workout room, breakfast, coffee) were solid quality. Would certainly stay here again.

This Hampton Inn is clean, service is friendly, and the location is great. The restaurant next door closed for some reason, but that's not something Hampton Inn caused. Last time I was there, it looked like they were in the process of remodeling, so maybe a new one is moving in. That would give you the ability to grab a bite right next door, which would be fantastic. All in all, comfortable stay at a reasonable price, again, with easy access to campus.
