I would like to say thanks again to the staff at this hotel for such a phenomenal stay. There was a mishap with a early morning wake up call and the GM fixed the situation rather quickly. I think what made my stay such a great one is when I had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Faye downstairs in the kitchen. I have to say I wish I could take here with me on all my travels to help with breakfast at each hotel because she went above and beyond my expectations. I mean I literally connected as thoug... The staff was super helpful in setting up a block for a baseball team and also a block for the parents. They event went out of there way to have a special gift for the team and cookies. We will definitely stay with them again!

This was a very nice place considering it's like 2.5 stars. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was nice and well lit. The breakfast was just okay but free so who can get mad about that. The best thing about the place was the mattress. Omg, the mattress! If i could have stolen it I would have! I have back problems and find it hard to be comfortable and not exacerbate my problem, but I slept so well and was so rested I never thought once about my back in that bed! My one real complaint ... Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Tuscaloosa. We started with a very pleasant check in. The young man at the front desk was very professional and helpful. The room was clean and a nice size. The complimentary breakfast was very good and offered a good selection. And the morning staff greeted us and other guests cheerfully.

The hotel was nicely appointed and very quiet for a good night sleep. Enjoy the breakfast buffet in the morning. Good location from down town Tuscaloosa and only a few minutes from the football stadium.

We found the room to be clean and adequate. It had a fridge, which I highly value when on a road trip, although it did not have a freezer, which would have been nice. However, the lobby was under renovation and the breakfast was being served in two different first floor rooms. There really wasn't enough seating and either the person working the breakfast area wasn't quite doing their job or the food prep area was too far from the rooms being used to serve it in. Either way, several items ran... Read more

We always enjoy staying at Fairfield Inns by Marriott as they are well appointed, non-smoking and have decent sized rooms. Although the Tuscaloosa Fairfield seemed a little older than most Fairfields, it met out expectations and provided a pleasant stay. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient. As they had overbooked the king bed rooms, he put us in a executive king with a sofa allowing us to spread out a little. As the breakfast area was undergoing renovation (we should have read recent r... Read more

Stayed for 2 nights they shut off the water for 5 hours let us know with a note under the door on the 2nd day. Went out that morning and came back to shower for dinner and had to wait an hour. They really need to let you know when you check in. The breakfast room is being remodeled so food is in 2 small guest rooms. This was not a pleasant experience will not stay here again when in Alabama to visit daughter at school.

Stayed here one night while traveling. Hotel was undergoing renovations but the staff worked really hard to keep that from interfering with our stay. Good staff and clean room. The complementary breakfast was nothing fancy but very good. Event with all the work it was a pleasant stay. I was pleasantly surprised because when we say the construction we expected the worse. Good job Fairfield Inn.

We choose this hotel each time we attend our bi-annual family reunion. When my wife and I arrived, there were construction going on in the lobby and I was concerned about it disturbing our stay. We was assured the construction would not disturb us and it didn't. I want to give personal recognition to one of the members, Keva B because she went above and beyond her duties to make our stay as uneventful as possible. She has a great sense of humor that will bring a smile to the saddest face. We wer... Read more

The room we stayed in was recently renovated and was nice. The Welcome by Rachel at the reception desk was awesome. She was very sweet and helpful to my wife and I. Although they are renovating the lobby they still set up a nice breakfast location in the hotel. I travel a lot and will definitely make that my stopping place.I Also want to thank Rodney for his help and warm hospitality. Keep up the good work guys.

Next stop on our college tour trip - had we known it was under renovation we would have probably stayed at the Courtyard. However, while lobby area was blocked off and inaccessible the room was clean and comfortable. Again we were only there 1 night and it was fine. Had it been a longer stay and we would have likely tried to move to the courtyard.

They were doing construction in the lobby area, wasnt sure they were even open until we got inside. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was being served out of two of the rooms, which wasn't a big deal. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable! I would stay there again!

We got a great sleep. Very clean with a good check-in experience. Got a tip on where to eat nearby before we settled in for the night. Recommend this for an easy on and off the Interstate location. Good safe location.

Typical Fairfield Inn - good stay. I believe some renovations were underway however it was odd because no one ever really told us that but breakfast one morning was served in a cleared out hotel room (less than ideal) versus their common room and a few other things were similarly just a bit off. Good location - 10m from campus. Breakfast was more continental than "hot". Only two "warm" offerings were scrambled eggs and pork sausage - same options every day.

This hotel is located right off a busy highway. I was in room 315 and could slightly hear the highway. It was not an issue. Pick a room away from highway as much as possible. For a budget friendly hotel it was very good. The hotel is freshly renovated and very clean. My room was spacious and had a good work desk area with plenty of outlets. The breakfast area is unusually small. You may need to eat in your room. One odd thing happened during my stay. A man called my room claiming to be the ho... Read more
