On January 15th, I stopped here to stay one night, getting ready to meet friends the next day that would be coming in Tuscaloosa for a Get-Together and catch up on old times. I should have left immediately after seeing the Lobby and behind the desk! It was FILTHY! there was mold around the baseboards, papers, drinks, drink cups were everywhere. I thought the room had to be better than this! Boy was I wrong. It smelled awful, there was Mold in the room and bathroom. I went to get some ice from th... Read more

They do not even deserve one star! This place needs to be boarded up and shut down. As a matter of fact it was so disjusting, I called the health department after our stay. We reserved two rooms for the U Of A family weekend and in desperation had to settle for this place because everything else was booked or excessively overcharging (another issue). This hotel is pathetic. The bathroom was awful. The tub was grungy. There're is.rsut around the drain. The toilet ts grungy around the floor. We walked in and the room was masked with disinfectant smell and the sheets were damp. The night stand had a wet film of maybe disinfectant. But it was just a damp coating on everything. $ 155 night for a Bama game weekend. Ridiculous,. I brought friends for their 1st Bama football game and it will be last time I stay here. I will be calling their manage... Read more

My husband and I stayed here back in June of 2015. I had already had an unhappy experience at another Tuscaloosa motel a few years ago. We never, ever plan to stay in Tuscaloosa again. The motel was hard to locate, with virtually no parking at the front office, and we had to park way back at the back of the motel because we were pulling a trailer. It was dark and a long way from our room. When we finally got to our room, we discovered it was dirty, especially in the bathroom. We walked all the w... Read more

My alternator decided to leave this mortal coil (see what I did there?) just north of Tuscaloosa at midnight on the last leg of a 1100 mile trip from Pittsburgh to New Orleans. The tow truck driver, an affable fellow, told me he would drop me off at the less sketchy of two motels near the Firestone where my car was to be repaired the following morning. And that is when my adventure at Americas Best Value Inn began. A large sign reading "NO REFUNDS" at the front desk sent chills down my spine, t... Read more
