This hotel was in the perfect location for the purpose of my stay. Although the staff that greeted me was not overly enthusiastic, the check in process was very easy and convenient. The fitness room is rather small but serves its purpose.

After being told in other locations around Birmingham "There's no room in the inn," we lucked into this great Hampton. Wish I could take my room with me down the road...clean, quiet and friendly! Breakfast came with whipped cream and happy messages.

A Hampton Inn is a Hampton Inn. As long as your expectations are appropriate, you shouldn't be disappointed. This was one of the top 10% of the Hamptons I've stayed in. Room seemed clean; all mechanicals functioned; staff was helpful and competent, and actually spoke English as a first language. What a concept. Mattresses seemed fairly new. Linen a little lower quality than I'm used to with Hamptons, but OK. Downside - hallway was like 85 degrees ? Not that hot outside. Breakfast was mediocre ... Read more

Upon check-in on May 13, we discussed the high price associated with the reservation. Lisa was able to change our reservation to a better room (with a jet tub!) for less money for our 2 night stay. Kudos to Lisa!

I had a great nights sleep and a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely helpful. There are many places to eat in the area that are in walking distance. The price is a little steeper than most of the surrounding hotels; however, it is a great place to stay.

My family went to a baseball tournament. The room was nice and beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely polite especially the ladies in the breakfast area. The breakfast was great. Everything was nice.

Located less than a mile off I-65 and near plenty of restaurants this was a good one night stay driving from FL to TN. Very friendly staff including the nicest, hardest working breakfast crew I've ever seen. My only issue was they have smoking and non-smoking rooms on the same floor which made the hallways smell like an ash tray. I didn't know Hampton even allowed smoking any more but I would put all those rooms on their own, smelly floor.

Spent 6/3 & 6/4 at this property. First impression going to the 3 floor room was the hot hallways. The hotel chooses not to air condition them. On the 90 + degree day that top floor hallway was easily 85 degrees. Returning from Dinner that night the room seemed warm but the noisy in room air conditioner came on and cooled us down. A few hours after our family goes to sleep, we are all awake and stirring about as the room is very hot. The air conditioning is not coming on besides being set ... Read more

We frequently stay at Hampton Inns while traveling. This particular location is dated and could use a "refresh". When we entered our room, we found that the carpet had not been vacuumed. There was a dead bug on the table and a gross glob of something on the carpet in front of the couch. An employee, who was friendly and helpful, moved us into a new room. It was relatively clean, but the furniture definitely needed updating. It was so stained, we didn't want to sit on it. (The bed was comfo... Read more

This hotel compares very favorably to some of the finest in luxury grade cleanliness and comfort. Location is good, the staff is absolutely awesome and rooms well equipped with everything you need like fridge, microwave, iron/board, blow dryer, coffee maker, free wifi, etc. Free breakfast buffet is A-1 and fresh hot coffee is 24/7. I for sure will stay here when I come again.

Friendly front desk staff -- helpful if any issues. The pool was warm and simple and kids loved it. Rooms are clean. Good stop on the way to the gulf coast. Don't come for the views. Walk to Margarita Grill for dinner. Reasonably priced. Neutrogena-brand toiletries.

We stayed here to be close to the nearby ice rink. There was a concert going on at the amphitheater behind the hotel and I was worried about noise, but I didn't hear anything. Room and breakfast both what you would expect from a Hampton Inn. The hallways were hot but, to be fair, it was very hot outside. I had no issues with temperature in my room. We had pizza delivered to our room from Dominos. Wal-Mart is close and if you drive past it a few miles there is a more populated, nice area wi... Read more

We are on our way to Destin and stopped here for the night. The king rooms were booked so we got a master suite. It has a refrigerator, microwave, jacuzzi tub and a living room area. The bed was comfortable but the room wasn't cool enough. The temperature was set on 65 but it wasn't nearly that cool. There is a fan in the room which helped but that is my biggest complaint. The staff at Hampton Inn & Suites, Pelham, Al (I-65) is absolutely by far one of the nicest staffs of all the Hampton Inns I've stayed at. To add to that, I can't give enough compliments and kudos to the property manager, Eric Hoxit. This man ROCKS!!! His attitude and personality is worthy of mention. The hotel was very clean and there were enough nearby restaurants that would satisfy any craving. Don't hesitate to book with Hampton Inn, Pelham, Al (I-65). You won't be disappointed.

I had a fairly uneventful stay which is good. The customer service was very good. During checkin they even gave me a soda to replace the one I spilled on the way from the parking lot. Breakfast was pretty standard for Hampton Inn which is better than many other chains. I really enjoyed the pillows on the beds. Super soft !

This recent stay was less than what we usually expect from Hilton Hotels. We stay at Hampton Inn on a regular basis when traveling. This location needs updating. Our room was big but the bathroom looked bad. There was black mildew around the toilet plumbing and floor, pretty bad. Carpet and curtains were old. Just kind of blah! I didn't go down for breakfast but my husband did. He said he couldn't eat it. He never complains. He drove to Chick-fil-A.

Staff was very friendly upon arrival. There are lots of restaurants close by. Room was nice and clean. So now you're wondering why can't I give it a 5? Ok I'll tell you. Before you book a room here, better check the schedule for the outdoor amphitheater that sits directly behind the hotel. Rock concert still going after 10 pm and that's local time. We selected this Hampton based on its proximity to our family gravesite. We have stayed here numerous times. It seems that since our last stay, a concert venue has opened and , unfortunately, we were not aware of this. It was a concert weekend. Not only was the music audible in the room, we also had to deal with obnoxious and unruly guests returning from the concert near midnight! Stayed 1 night for business. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast had decent selection. Sliding closet door was difficult to open/close - certainly a minor issue, but that's really all I would like to see improved in the room. Location is easy to find. Parking was sparse - probably due to overflow from a local business. If you choose this hotel, be advised that traffic can backup if you're heading north in the morning.
