Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our accommodations were very nice! You could walk from the pool to the beach in a matter of a minute. It had a bar and a full made to order breakfast. They even recommended two shuttle services if you didn't want to drive.

Great location in Orange Beach, AL, with direct beach access. Convenient parking. Professional and accommodating staff. Great breakfast provided at $10 per person. Unfortunately, rooms need updating. Realize this hotel has been at this location for many years, but in order to keep up with the competition of surrounding hotels/condos, rooms updates are essential.

Kamie and entire team are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is really good and easy. Beds are very comfortably and AC works well. 1-2 minute stroll to water edge. Beach is manicured with plenty chairs and umbrellas. Close to shopping snd activities. Cabs seem plentiful. Returning next year.

Upon arrival, I first encountered the sweetest receptionist, Ms. Jasmine, who with a smile, did everything to accommodate us most comfortably. From breakfast to beach, we wanted for nothing. Other staff members were easily identified by their uniform shirts, gracious smiles, and willingness to assist my disabled aging parents. The view from our room was great though we opted for the pool side, we could still fully see the beach. The room was clean, but is on their list for upcoming renovation.... Read more

The staff were pleasant, although they need some training about professionalism. The fellow at the front desk literally wiped his dripping nose all along on the inside of his palm and then tried handing me things; it was disgusting. A quick "excuse me", getting himself a tissue (following up with some hand sanitizer) would have been the hygienic way to handle his...."situation". The hallways have low ceilings and there is a dank odor. This hotel is in serious need of a remodel. The rooms ar... Read more

This property is older, and is need of some updating. However, the location is wonderful. And all the staff that I came in contact with were super helpful. From the front desk, to the breakfast staff, to the tiki bartender, they were all great. The biggest problem was the parking. There is NOT enough parking and the spots are so small. We came back from eating one night and could not find a spot. The two people working at the desk came out and moved their cars so we could park. They rocke... Read more

We were at this hotel for the Memorial Day weekend, so it was a busy time. We were able to reserve a room with a view of the beach and it was nice to sit on the balcony in the morning and evenings, although the balconies are rather small. The beach is nice and although a holiday weekend, there was still room for everyone and we didn't feel like we were sardines, unlike the high rise properties down the beach that were wall to wall people practically on top of eachother. Friendly staff but definitely needs updating. Beds were clean and comfy and the ocean view was nice but for the price it could be better. The carpet felt sticky and was ripped and coming up in couple spots. Tub had mildew/mold. The website says room service but they don't due to lack of staff. Probably won't return the to this hotel.

This is a solid hotel. It was overpriced, but that to be expected at the beach. That said, if it's going to be overpriced I don't expect to have issues like the AC not functioning correctly. We were there for one night, so there wasn't really time to notify management and we wouldn't have wanted to change rooms that late at night anyway. We kept the sliding glass doors closed, but the AC unit just struggled. Other than that, we enjoyed having live music at the pool an having the tiki bar th... Read more

While camping at the state park with family it became apparent that more space was needed:) We jumped on expedia and booked 2 nights at the hilton garden inn based on price and location to our group. It was a great little hotel! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The pool was nice and the access to the beach superb. The location is great as it's right between orange beach and gulf shores so you could easily get to either.

The service people were all courteous and helpful, but lacked all of the normal Hilton professionalism in appearance and "polish." To say that The Hilton Garden Inn was disappointingly in disrepair is an understatement. The hotel carpet, paint, furniture, were extremely aged. There were chipped paint corners on every hallway. This Hilton Garden Inn is an older hotel with few if any modern amenities. While the lobby has been remodeled, the rooms have not. Corridor carpets are old and dingy. All Hilton Garden Inns are basically the same. The lobbies are the same, the rooms are big and comfortable, there are refrigerators and coffee pots in the room, there's usually a nice pool and the breakfasts are usually very good. This one also has a parking garage and is located on one of the prettiest beaches in the U.S. The beach is very convenient to get to by walking past the swimming pool and pool bar, over the boardwalk and boom, you are on the beach. Dirty old hotel for $200+ a night. Very small rooms, broken hot tubs, key cards stopped working several times a day; rooms smell moldy. Physically there is nothing good about this place, its old and needs a lot of work. Only positive thing about this establishment was the personnel, all of the employees from front desk to cleaning crew are outstanding and were very friendly and helpful. Oh and the photos online are a little misleading.

My wife and I stayed the Hilton Garden Inn for our Anniversary. Great accommodations! Direct access to the beach. Indoor/outdoor pool and fitness center. The staff had obviously been well trained in hospitality. Every employee from the front desk to the cooking staff to the maintenance crew welcomed us and ask about the quality of our stay. And the breakfast was exceptionally good...especially the pancakes and omelets. We highly recommend this property when traveling to Gulf Shores.

Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach needs work, the staff are helpfull but the place just needs a full renovation. Our room was not ready at check in and the next day they totally forgot to clean the room, we had to call guest service when we returned to the room at 5:00PM and remind them to clean. Good location, small place, we will not stay there again unless changes have been made. Lots of rust on metal, toilet was leaking, shower curtain had that sour smell.
