The hotel was nice overall but the exhaust fan in the bathroom had obviously been used as a cigarette smoke exhaust fan in the past. The bathroom smelled a strong smell of cigarette smoke. It was a "non-smoking room"

We had a pleasant time. The hotel is fantastic! I would definitely stay here again. No need to go elsewhere! The staff is super friendly and the people are very very courteous. I will not look elsewhere the next time I'm back in Montgomery.

The hotel experience was good overall given the size of the market. However, the restaurant experience was limited and the hours was limited as well. Montgomery is a government town and there seems to be limited activity downtown. However, my business bring me to this area once per quarter and this hotel is in the best location to meet my needs.

Hotel is very nice and spacious. Hotel staff is very inviting and helpful. You are literally next door to the Ciry Auditorium and Hank Williams statue out your backdoor. Also other nice areas close to the hotel within walking distance. Lots of local restaurants that could serve your appetite even for an extended stay.

Although wheelchair fits thru door of room, bathroom doorway wasn't wide enough to enter. To make it worse, there were no grab bars by the toilet. The sad thing is we were told specifically by our party representative from Doubletree, check in staff, and check out staff, that this was a handicap accessible room. Not a warm or friendly experience.

Stayed here for business in May 2016. Hotel was nice, updated on the inside. Outside could use some work. Overall I liked it, we were about two blocks from "The Alley" and ball field. Otherwise there's not much immediately around. But it was quiet. Only issue was parking was limited, they did have a lower level but it was kind of in shambles. Our cars were the only two down there, looked like something from Walking Dead. Would recommend any day.

Really nice, accommodating staff which made up for the bad parking garage experience. If you arrive at night, the main level parking will likely be filled and you have to park in a pretty scary, poorly lit lower level garage with inadequate directional signage of how to get to the elevators.

Very nice hotel: clean & comfortable rooms, very good staff, good bar food and breakfast. Fitness center was lacking. Older machines and video monitors only carried 3 channels: I Love Lucy reruns, and shopping networks. The TV was limited to same. Not up to the rest of the hotel standard. I relayed this in my first stay. Nothing was done to correct.

My overall experience was outstanding. However, during my several night stay, housekeeping would forget at least 1 item each day. One day, they took the bath soap and didn't replace it. The next day, they forgot a bath mat. The third day, I only received 1 bath towel instead of two. I'm sure why it happened in the first place. It would have been a bigger issue if I had been sharing the room.

To begin with, my 1st impression was good, Tasia, was very friendly and nice (no cookie offered), but then.... the room (we got a room with 2 queen beds) was NOT what I had expected. CRAMPED and OVERCROWDED with just a dresser and the beds. We were continually "knocking" our knees on the bed corners or scraping our legs on the dresser drawer pulls because they were so close to each other. We stayed in one of the larger suites. Very spacious and the kitchenette was convienent. The view was amazing and we enjoyed having a balcony. Check in is a little tricky because of the parking deck. If there isn't space on the bottom level and you go up on the parking deck you cannot access the building from your level. It requires a key. Definitely will stay at a Doubletree on my next trip. The staff was exceptionally great at check in. The room was extremely comfortable. I slept soundly and woke refreshed, ready for my meeting. Great place to stay!!!

My family stayed at this hotel for wedding last weekend. We arrived early and were told that we could not check in even though we requested an early checkin. The rooms were subpar compared to other Hiltons, very outdated decor, no usb wall ports and old tvs. Staff is less than friendly, did not greet us at all during our visit. No continental breakfast, over priced restaurant in lobby. To top it all off my wife's bracelet was stolen! Do not stay at this hotel!!!

A family trip for parents weekend at ASU. The hotel staff was awesome. There were 7 of us total. A nice bar/lounge area for visiting. Breakfast and lounge staff went out of their way to provide excellent customer service! Go Hornets.

The entrance I entered into was a little confusing, as it seemed like it should have put me in the lobby but it ended up being just a small waiting room so you had to go into the next set of sliding doors to get into the lobby/main atrium. Atrium was large and pretty, had a small bar area that was the "popular" spot for the business visitors. Got a warm cookie on check in. I forgot to use my HHonors when booking and they didn't ask or confirm if I was a member, so I didn't get the added perks ... Read more

nothing stands out as amazing, average, employees were there, did not appear that they were inclined to go out of their way, but not outwardly rude..., food was not great, edible, some of the order did not make it to the room....rooms were a little stuffy and musty, seemed to smell a little moldy.....overall, just ok

We arrived at 3:45 pm for check-in and was told our room was not ready for occupancy, and to wait a few minutes. While waiting, I spoke with two other couples and they also had been waiting for their room and were quite agitated having to wait so long. I waited 45 minutes and became quite frustrated because there seemed to be no urgency to get our rooms ready. I noticed 2 or 3 room cleaning crews on the floors above the lobby chatting and laughing, showing no sense of urgency, nor did I see a... Read more

Walking into the hotel is a wonderful experience. The lobby has been decorated in a chic, modern style with visible interior facing rooms going up many floors. It's open feeling is inviting and is comfortable if you choose to lounge or visit the bar area. The rooms are plush and luxurious, with ample room to move about. I stayed in a King, single room and slept like a rock. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom has wonderful back lighting and a glass stand up shower. I would recommend ... Read more

I'm a Diamond member and had chosen a Presidential Suite. I was a little disappointed as this was my first stay so first impressions make a difference. Sadly, my room wasn't ready upon my arrival after 4pm. I had to wait about 35 minutes. The kind gentlemen at the hotel desk gave me a complimentary beverage and was very friendly to help lessen the disappointment. When n I got into the room, I was again disappointed on the room. In my mind, Presidential Suite suggests very nice upgrades. Sadly, I... Read more

Newer or recently remodeled hotel. Very close to ASU and downtown. Very clean, friendly staff. Only complaint is that breakfast room service was 30 minutes late so we were almost late for our early event. I called and asked if we could have breakfast at the time I requested and they said yes. When the breakfast came late they told me that my request was too early. If they would have said when I called that the request was too early we would have made other arrangements.

This hotel is located in downtown Montgomery, AL. The hotel was very clean and with a modern design. However, the staff was too distracted and charged my AE to someone else's room. In addition, tried to add additional fees when we arrived. There is a $11/day parking fee, we were not aware of. Two nights we had to park on the street. Not enough parking spaces. Food could better. Service very slow.
