The white sheets were nasty that had old blood stains on them and the sad part about it I didn't know that they were nasty because we checked in that night and then on our way to check out when I pulled back the covers to make sure that we didn't leave anything, I saw the nasty blood stains that was in the sheets that should have been new sheets instead also the tub was nasty and there was a roach crawling in my room, and the night before we checked out there was no hot water

Two La Quinta's right next to each other. Confusing. OK hotel, best part is it is pet friendly. Not a good selection at breakfast, no meat or eggs. :( Location was good, I found this to be an easy city to get around. Visited the Hank museum, most people we encountered on this trip were cordisl. Hotel staff not particularly engaging, would stay here again if only for pets.

Location very handy Price was amazing at just over $40 for the night, really can't complain for that kind of money! Room was perfectly bright and pleasant although the mattress on the bed was poor and far too soft Bathroom was fine Room wasn't big but perfectly adequate size Front office staff were ok but definitely not the usual great southern hospitality and they really needed to give me better directions to my bedroom as the layout is weird and the room numbering is really illogical. Arrived after a long transatlantic flight. First impressions hotel interior very shabby and tired looking. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was abysmal! Tiny food area (there were 51 in our party besides other guests) very very limited selection of food coffee was like dishwater and the whole area was a shambles with one staff member trying to cover the front desk and replenish the meagre breakfast items. Not good!

I very much enjoyed my stay at this facility. My room was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and the price was reasonable. I don't understand any bad reviews on this hotel because I didn't encounter any of those issues and felt like I got A REAL DEAL. B. Curbo - Germantown, TN

This hotel does not match the quality of other LaQuintas. The beds are not as comfortable as others and need replacing. We had to change rooms because the tv cable had been ripped from the wall, and there was a white powder all over the floor behind the tv. The smell of pot was strong all down the hallway on the 2nd floor where our room was located.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was okay (cereal, waffles, juice, muffins, toast, yogurt & oranges). The tables, floors and elevator were dirty. You can tell there are a lot of upkeep that are being ignored. So while it's kinda dirty, it's not the worst and for a cheap hotel room, it was tolerable.

Stayed 1 night (7/1) and will never return. Rude staff. Arrived at 11:15 as expected and saw pine needles and leaves on a chair near the reception counter. I received 1 bottle of water and 1 cookie for 4 of us (I'm a La Quinta Elite Rewards Member). I asked for an additional bottle of water and was directed to the vending machines around the corner. First room had such a skunk smell we could not even enter the room. In the second room we found clean beds (later we found out they were lumpy and... Read more

Just needed a place to crash for the night. Front desk very helpful, breakfast area untidy to say the least. The room had minor maintenance problems that we did not report to management. They were so obvious that the maids should have reported them.

The hotel is very quiet. There is plenty of parking. The staff are hospitable and polite. The rooms have been renovated and they are very nice. We stayed in a King room and there was a two tiered desk setup which was very convenient. We did not use the pool but it seems to be an average hotel pool. There was a nice grassy place to take our dogs outside. If we are travelling through the area we would definitely go to the same place to stay.

I stayed here on July 16, 2016. There is some confusion coming into the parking lot. There is another La Quinta next door, which has a clearly labeled entranced. However, this hotel sits back farther off the road without a clear entrance, making it vary easy to come to the wrong hotel. The parking lots are not connected. By the way the La Quinta next door has exterior doors to the rooms, which is a plus when staying with a pet. Upon arrival, the women working the desk was busy with a PER... Read more

So unbelievably gross. The entire hotel smells like an ashtray. Our room was supposed to be non smoking but it couldn't have been. Our room also had a terrible mold smell. Bed was uncomfortable and had questionable stains on the comforter. Never ever stay here.

Stayed here with a friend for two nights. These people looked miserable! No one ever said hello or greeted us with a smile at any point of our visit. They would just look at us and continue on with their telephone conversation or whatever they were doing. Profanity and inappropriate conversations could be heard by the staff from our room. Around 4am on our second night, the fire alarm goes off and we watch and listen to a female worker and a male security guard feverishly try to enter one of th... Read more

We stayed here July 22, 2016. Room was nice and comfortable. Beds were clean and so comfortable. Large room. Tub didn't drain well during shower but maitnance fixed it next morning. Not the greatest breakfast selection but it filled us up. I'd definitely stay here again. Staff was very nice and courteous.

We normally stop in Birmingham on our way down to the Gulf as its half way. This time we left earlier in the day so we traveled a not farther. Ran into this gem of a hotel. Clean, reasonable rooms with good wifi and easy off on access to highway I-65. The front desk was very personable suggesting places to eat that night. Breakfast in the morning was hot and there were plenty of choices. We had a person in a wheelchair but did not have a handicapped equipped room as all doors were plenty wide en... Read more

I was very satisfied with my stay at the La Quinta in Montgomery on Carmichael Road. The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. The cleaning crew just forgot to look behind the bathroom door, but anyone can miss something on occasion. The parking lot needed some new pavement, but wasn't extremely bad. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

We were perfectly satisfied with our one night stay here. Very reasonably priced compared to nearby hotels, it was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner which is especially nice after a long car ride. Breakfast was just OK but was fresh and satisfying. We would stay here again while on the road.

Stayed here basically due to last minute travel. For the rate it should have been better. Hallways/Elevator visible dirt & unclean. Pool was filthy so no option of getting in. However, Room was clean. And that was what was most important to me. That breakfast was not the best but the attitude from the desk clerk about servicing the area when things were out or equipment not functioning properly was down right ridiculous. Three people at the desk & no one responding to the request down right rude... Read more
