The staff was friendly and room was clean. Breakfast was good and what was expected of a complimentary morning meal. The lobby was comfortable for visiting with my extended family. For the area I felt the price was very good.and having to write 200 characters is repetitive.

Ok - I have stayed at a lot of Hamptons in my business career but this one gets an A++++. The room was quite, cool and cozy. The comforter on the bed I wanted to take home with me. The staff where so pleasant and helpful. Only issue is parking, I know they have valet - but maybe that should be part of the cost of the hotel stay since it is impossible to find parking.

Hotel was clean and lovely. It was understaffed and ill equipped. There were no luggage carts available on check in. Was told we had to park on the street somewhere. It took some time to find parking. There were little half pillows on the king bed. There was only one spare half pillow in the hotel per the staff.

Breakfast lady needs help! She must have mistaken the sugar for the salt, or the oatmeal for soup, as the oatmeal was salty. The boiled eggs were rotten- the odor after I cracked the shell just spoiled my breakfast, and I couldn't summon myself to eat anymore. On the positive side- free parking, excellent location.

My family stopped overnight to catch a Buscuits baseball game on our way to Florida. We always stay at Hilton brand hotels, so we chose this Hampton Inn due to proximity to the ball field. The location was great. Lots of restaurants nearby and within walking distance. Staff was not the friendliest, but the hotel accommodations suited our needs and were well maintained. I would stay here again.

Also told they'll have the valet park the car in the back or in the roundabout- not to worry because the do it all the time for early flights. When I checked in the unfriendly lady at the front desk told me the same thing. Needless to say I woke up at 1230am with this nagging at me. Hampton Inns are not typically located in historic buildings, but this one is a surprise. The facility is nicely restored, comfortable, and attractive. Our room was surprisingly naive: better than the typical Hampton Inn. The location was great for us, convenient to downtown locations and to Maxwell AFB. We recommend this hotel.

Once again a teacher friend and I needed to come to Montgomery for training at the state department. This is a great location that is located near many rating options in close proximity. They offer a great breakfast in the morning and we discovered by accident, hot delicious cookies in the lobby in the early afternoon. Great, clean and friendly place to stay. Also, if you're into geocaching, there are plenty of opportunities. Have fun!

The location is great as restaurants, bars, banks and the River Front are all in walking distance. It was impossible to sleep here because the noise from the street is loud at all hours of the night and morning. This hotel is best avoided if possible. All the rooms have desk chairs that are too low for the desks and they have been placed in 2008 and Hilton will not replace them. The hot water is variable as is the phone service. The TV in the exercise room does not work. The staff is pleasant but they cannot do anything because Hilton will not allow them. This hotel clearly is worth avoiding.

Everything that is worth seing or doing in the city is just a few meters around this hotel. The room was very nice and the breakfast too. The only things were that in the platform we reserved from they advertised free parking and that's not true

We stayed one night and entire staff was friendly and helpful. The valet staff was awesome and just nice as they could be--even when busy and even at midnight. The free breakfast was extensive and delicious. The room was gorgeous, the bed comfy, and the beautiful shower had plenty of umph (and was big enough for two). It is a beautifully restored historic building right across from the MPAC.

Was a wonderful hotel to stay and in a great location. The staff was very friendly and gave us great suggestions for restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay at this hotel again, next time we are in Montgomery.

I am writing this review at 2:15 am while I am a guest at this hotel ....CANNOT SLEEP DUE TO THE STREET NOISE ! I have stayed in numerous hotels in NYC, Boston, and DC and have NEVER experienced this level of noise from the outside where my family cannot sleep !!!!! The hotel MUST invest in better insulated windows and work with local law enforcement on the enforcement of noise ordinances!! Loud, thumping music, people yelling in the street and someone reving a car !!! Do people in this ... Read more

I love to stay at older elegant hotels! This place has all the modern conveniences and the ornate quality of the past. It is convenient to all the down town businesses and restaurants of Montgomery, Alabama.

My favorite place to stay whenever I travel to Montgomery Alabama!!! I enjoy the staff with their professional greeting, well mannerism, warm smiles, & now that they have where the hotel provides valet parking, which means that the customers have guaranteed & easy access with parking in the busy downtown Montgomery district.

The lobby is lovely and historic. The hotel is just across the street from a conference center where I had a meeting but I had rather stay here. Nice rooms, clean, and several places to eat and drink nearby. A short walk to the river and stadium.

Being in Montgomery brought back so many memories. The hotel is close to everything in the city. This downtown location was very quiet and pleasant. My family really enjoyed staying here. We will definitely be back!

Travelled here for business and I was given these accommodations for my two day stay. This is a clean hotel with large king size bed rooms and the staff here was great. Close to bars/restaurants downtown and the valet service here was good too. Definitely recommend this location.

Fun location to stay because you can walk for a cocktail and several different types of restaurants. BUT.... Furniture and mattresses badly in need of updates. Customer service is not a priority at this hotel.
