We had a wonderful time at the embassy suites! The staff was wonderful and catered to any needs that we had! The hotel rooms were nice and roomy! Conference rooms were perfect! As well as all the food that was prepared for each of our events! The cook to order continental breakfast was an added bonus!! It is within walking distance of the River walk, as well as restaurants and bars.

It took forever to check in. Check In time was at 4, we didn't get in until 4:30. We got there at 2:00 - so we hung out in the lobby with 50 other refugees waiting to get in. The room wasn't ready. You would thing that a $200 + per night hotel could hire housekeeping staff to make rooms available. When we got to our room, some of the lights didn't work. Want a quick hot shower in the morning - forget it. It took about 20 minutes of running the hot water for it to eventually got warm. When... Read more

We pulled into the space in front of the hotel and were immediately approached by the parking valet. He informed us that we could not face that direction (were supposed to be facing OUT); we could not park there while we inquired about a room and registered; we could not leave the car in any of the spaces facing the building (all reserved for valet parking and no cars in any of them). If we wanted to register for a room, we would have to move the car to the (pay) lot (unless we wanted valet ... Read more

My family has stayed at this hotel in the past with no issues. I am not sure what happened this time around, but we were disappointed. We made a last minute reservation as we were in town visiting family and decided to stay over. We had a standard suite on the 3rd floor for a family of 4. The light in the shower was rusted and only half in the socket -- you could actually see inside the casing. We killed a couple of bugs. The otherwise yummy and convenient breakfast was a disappointment. ... Read more

We paid $10.00 a day for parking but had to search for ten minutes for a parking spot. Bathtub had rust stains and the drain plug was sitting on the counter. When we closed the bedroom door we discovered a large hole in the wall. There are several Hilton properties to choose from in Montgomery choose this one only as a last resort.

We did electronic checkin prior to arrival and after a short stop at the counter received our room keys. We expected to receive a couple bottles of water (HHonors Diamond) but had to ask for it. When we got to the room we tried to us the sink to freshen up before we went to see our friends for dinner. The water was super brown and there was no hot water. We called the front desk only to be told that there were issues with the water...it was turned off for some period of time...but it was bac... Read more

We were in Montgomery for dance competition! We walked across street to Renaissance hotel to preform. We chose Embassy Suite because better price, inside garden and their fabulous breakfast. The hotel is located by a strip of restaurants and stores. No fast food. Not in the best part of town, but a half a dozen cops in that area. Felt safe.

We found this hotel to be very run down, dirty, and outdated. The room was dirty, the pool was filthy, the breakfast food was cold and very crowded. Many items were not available. The check in employee was very rude and not very informative. We have stayed here the last 5 years, but we will be looking for a new place to stay next year.

Be sure to check out other Hotels of the same level to ensure you get your monies worth. The hotel is high priced for average suites and amenities. You pay $10 per day for parking that isn't enough to accommodate their guest, parking overflow is in a nearby parking garage that is a short unconveniced distance, unattended. The staff was very nice and helpful. Loved the downtown location. Each time any room around us turned on the water in their rooms we could hear air in the pipes and it rattled the walls in our room and the overall cleanliness of our rooms was not good. Check-in is at 4:00. We arrived at 5:15 and our room was not ready. There is a small parking lot in front of the hotel and an overflow parking garage ($10 a night). On Saturday afternoon, they were both completely full. I asked an employee who was at the smaller lot and he was fairly rude about my options. However, the breakfast buffet was excellent. As with all Embassy Suites, great happy hour and full cooked to order breakfast. The people who worked there are warm and hospitable, high marks there. But, the room was not the cleanest and we had to ask three times to get fresh glasses in our room, and replaced coffee for the little one cup deals. Once the bed was remade and it looked like someone lay on it. That being said we had a nice time, just needs a little more TLC from the maid service!

We stopped here for a quick one night stay while driving to another destination. It was a disaster from the moment we pulled on to the property until we left. When we pulled into the parking lot I reached for the parking ticket from the self-service machine and was shocked, literally. So first impressions to me are sometimes the most important when going somewhere new and my first impression of this hotel was not good. This hotel had valet service where you go to check in and upon arriving I was stopped by one of them who was practically demanding my keys because he said it was against some fire code for me to park my car at the front entrance to go and check in. Embassy Suites is a very nice Hotel chain. I've stayed at others through out the states. The Embassy Suites staff from the front desk to the housekeepers are professional. The only gripe I have is that I was not able to reserve a room with 2 queen beds and the plumbing in the shower of room #204 would come away from the wall when turned on. It didn't effect the shower, it just looks bad.

I travel to this hotel quite a bit for work and every time I feel at home. I have stayed at this hotel almost monthly for the past 6 years. It has great staff but in the last year the room cleaning has clearly deteriorated. Last week our room was dusty, had crumbs on the coffee table and the carpet has wrinkles that are dangerous. I stayed two nights and the crumbs were still on the coffee table when I left and the dust was still visible on all surfaces. Hopefully this is only a problem with the person servicing that block of rooms.

Upon arriving here the front desk staff were extremely nice, very friendly and helpful. My check in was fast and early per my request. The hotel is within walking distance to several Historic Sites. The breakfast was really nice, you can order your spanish omlets, eggs any style etc. My family enjoyed the nice pool and hot tub. The Atrium was just fabulous like on a tropical island. My stay was most enjoyable for my 5 - 6 days stay. No complaints here.Enjoy

Overall decent stay at the embassy. Suites could use some updates...furniture, paint, carpet...etc. Having the snacks in the room for the diamond upgrade is a nice touch. Be prepared to pay for parking as the hotel charges $10 night for self parking.

Nice location, friendly staff, but many mistakes due to lack of good training. The room was clean but the pillows didn't have a fresh smell. Our reservation was messed up and one day we got no room service even staying on the premium 8th floor. The breakfast was excellent as was the dining room for lunch and dinner. Surprisingly not up to Hilton stanards.

Nice hotel in a great location. We were passing through and very easy to get here via I 65. Very friendly staff at check in, happy hour and breakfast. The place was full with a few family reunions and a YMCA event but never felt over crowded. Just outside the hotel is a Riverwalk which was nice, Montgomery Biscuit baseball stadium and The Alley with restaurants. Plus lots of history with Rosa Park and Hank Williams museums close. We would stay again.

With the exception of the first night stay this hotel was exceptional. The rooms were very clean, the service was great and the people friendly. Breakfast in the morning was great, you can get eggs to order or buffet style with plenty of options. From 530-730pm each day is a free beverage bar to satisfy your drinking pleasure. After hours you can get room service or order from the bar food if you hungry at a reasonable price.

I was not impressed with this property. Just little things. The AC in my room (513 I think) cycled on and off every 2-3 minutes. The bathroom was way to dark, despite 2 lights over the mirror and one in the shower to shave or perform other personal grooming needs. The complimentary WiFi was abysmal. I had to switch it off to have a facetime with my wife. Why offer free WiFi in a business hotel if you can't use it? Buffet staff were all extremely friendly. Both valet and self-parking avai... I visited during the Labor day weekend. Overall the hotel is nice, well kept, and very friendly staff. My concern on this trip was that there was a lot of children there and parents were not doing a good job of controlling them. When the hotel has a lot of kids that are checked in the should have really monitored the pool area. Kids were running all over the place, jumping in the pool, taking over the hot tub (which is not for kids), and making my visit to the pool not enjoyable.
