My department had our annual training here for 4 days. We had a great time. The hotel is very nice with some cool amenities. The rooms are nice and clean. The location is convenient to a few good restaurants and small shops but downtown Mobile is not the most lively. The staff was excellent and I hope to have another conference here soon. I stay here almost every time I travel to Mobile.

Our room faced the bay and we could see boats coming and going we were on the 20th floor. Our room was clean and had great pillows and plenty of room. We often stay when we are having something at the convention center which has a connected walk way from the hotel. We like that we can walk to a lot of different restaurants close by with a variety to choose from in the evenings

Had Easter brunch at this hotel. Met with family here after Sunday Easter Services to enjoy a wide variety of buffet foods for brunch. The buffet consisted of custom made to order omelets, waffles, fresh fruits in jars, salads, breads and pastries, meats (brisket, ham, lamb, smoked salmon, shrimp, chicken, fish, crab cakes, oysters, etc.), various vegetables, and a wide assortment of desserts.

We were in Mobile for a sea trial. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the Marina near the Dog River. We wanted to be comfortable, and walking distance to restaurant. Downtown Mobile is just the place to stay. We had room 1102, a corner King room with wall to ceiling windows over looking the port. We kept our curtains open all night - the glow from the lights was delightful. Morning room service was right on time and the coffee was perfect. We were quite disappointed from the second we stepped into the hotel. I had made reservations months in advance under my Marriott rewards account, yet they were not going to honor the request I had made. The front desk lady and the manager were not even familiar with their own policies that it was guaranteed, and told me they didn't have any rooms available like that. I then showed them my reservation and that my request was guaranteed, and magically the completely booked hotel had a room availa... Read more

This was my first time staying here and I really enjoyed it. The location is great: right downtown and close to lots of great restaurants. This is not a new building although the lobby has to have been remodeled recently. It's age does not show much at all on the inside. This is a tall hotel. One of the tallest buildings in Mobile so there are lots of nice views. There a plenty of elevators and they come/go quickly. I enjoyed my stay and the restaurant staff was super nice. The room was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels and designer soap. The only suggestion that I would have is to serve coffee earlier than 6 AM. We had to be up and out by 5:30 and would have liked for them to have had at least a coffee bar in the lobby. That is just a suggestion and I have absolutely no complaints.

Our room was lovely...wonderful linens and toiletries. It was always spotlessly cleaned by an efficient, cheerful staff member. Valet parking was orderly and quick. Access to the convention center made this the perfect place to stay EXCEPT for the poorly serviced bar. Drinks had to be ordered at the bar from less than enthusiastic servers.
