Did the Mother's day Brunch and we were pleased to the point that my wife said we are doing this every Mother's day and also every Father's day. Great food and service. Nice atmosphere and not crowded as most places are on Mother's day. Reservations are required.

Due to the traveling nature of my job, I stay in hotels over 275 nights a year and have been for over 3 years now. I spend a large amount of time in the Mobile area and always look forward to it because of the Mobile Marriott on Airport Rd. I have not had a single complaint about anything, be it room cleanliness, (extremely) comfortable beds, front desk service, concierge assistance; this hotel is a hidden gem in an unintuitive place. I've stayed in the nearby Battlehouse and Renaissance and ... Read more

We stayed here for a college softball tournament. The hotel is an older hotel that was nice but not amazing. There was no free breakfast like other Marriott's but they had a restaurant that I heard had a good buffet. The location is convenient to shopping, restaurants and South Alabama University. The beds were ok, a little soft for our liking and in their double rooms, they only offer 2 full size beds, not queens like we are accustom to which was a big negative for us. The free internet was not... Read more

Excellent room. Excellent food. Most of all--excellent service by friendly staff. All staff were very friendly. Dalbert especially went out of his way to ensure that the conference room had what I needed for training. He brought me four eggs and a jar--for a demo to illustrate how fragile a baby's brain is--to warn about shaking a child by angry parent. point is: "Take a break when needed."

Huge convention center hotel. You could park a Boeing jet in their parking lot and it wouldn't affect a single person needing to park. Nice modern space on the inside but it's starting to look a little outdated. The building itself is fairly old. They have a great fitness center and a decent outdoor pool. Not really convenient to much except the airport. A few fast food places to eat in the area. Rooms are a good size and the everything was clean and as expected from a marriott. I enjoyed my sta... Stayed here 3 nights. Rooms are clean but choices of bed size is poor. We had 2 double beds for a price of a normal queen or king room. Continental Breakfast is an additional charge of 13$ per person( room is pricy why charge extra for this?) Went to the bar for the half price frozen drinks as advertised in every elevator to find bar staff said they were out of tequila but would charge full price for the " good stuff" . Hotel security is lax- anyone can come in any door without key card. Hotel s... Read more

The friendliness of the staff makes this hotel stand out. They want you there and it shows. I left something in my room and Jessica had found it and turned it in. That shows the integrity of their staff. They could not have been nicer and I definitely will stay there again.

I was here on business, so I went down to the bar to have dinner and a drink by myself. Tony was more than great. He was so easy to talk to and truly cared how I liked the food and drink. He was so personable and chatted with everyone at the bar - he even did a few fun tricks! The food wasn't too great, but he would keep me coming back there for dinner and drinks. Marriott is my hotel of choice because of the great service that is provided by employees like Tony!

We got absolutely excellent service from Frances, Lebbie, and most of the staff in the restaurant/bar. The workout room was more than ample. All machines worked and there was plenty of equipment. We also took a dip in the pool, which was clean and deep enough for laps. Excellent! On the downside, the air conditioner went out in the entire hotel and our room got up to more than 85 degrees. There was no mention of compensation but, I think, Frances and Lebbie helped us quite well in this area. The... Read more

Arrived on June 14th, 2016 around 9:30pm. I first pulled in and was impressed by the view as you will see with the attached pictures. I used mobile check in and the check in process was a breeze with this option. Although the only negative I could see with this would be it does not allow for upgrades. After check in I was acknowledged with my status. Not a deal breaker for me if it is not recognized but some people it is. With the arrival time being later I was not able to enjoy the executive ... This Marriott is not new but it is well kept, affordable, has trained staff, the concierge employees are well connected and well informed with up to date information. It's also located near the interstate, a huge mall and lots of restaurants and stores. This was my third stay in Mobile at this property and is my hotel of choice from now on. Well kept, clean, pool immaculate, restaurant/bar.

I chose to stay at this hotel because of favorable reviews and a reasonable price found on a travel review website. Check-in was smooth and so was the elevator ride to the 16th floor. All staff were very friendly and had smiles at all times. This hotel has modern fixtures and nice amenities. However, it is an older hotel. The AC, although cool, is loud and so is the toilet/plumbing. Our room was modern and clean and was located right near the ice machine, which was convenient. The double ... Read more

When I arrived late to the breakfast buffet,Gwendolyn, the lovely lady who waited on me was very accommodating. She treated me like family and put in my breakfast order even though it was after 11, then kept checking on me to see if all my needs were met. The icing on the cake was a nice greeting from the chef Marilyn who came out to say hello and make sure that my food was satisfactory. They all exceeded my expectations and I look forward to visiting here again.

The hotel is clean and well-appointed. The staff are courteous and helpful. I had great service from my waitress, Brundesia, in the lounge, and the gumbo is excellent. (I had it twice in two days - hat tip to Marilyn, the cook.) The rooms have a small fridge and Internet is free. The bed is very comfortable and I slept quite well.

I'm taking a 3-day seminar at the Marriott Hotel. I had no idea that they even serve food here but once I saw the menu the hamburger call my name. It was a bacon Angus beef cheeseburger made to perfection. The chef who prepared it was Merlyn. She actually came to my table and asked me how it was. I've been to a lot of places and never experienced this before I was happy to tell her that I enjoyed it. 2 days left and I will be eating lunch here again. the only reason why did not give this five st... I stayed at the Mobile Marriott for business for 2 days. I'm only Gold level, but that is enough to give me access to the Concierge Lounge and floor, which I always appreciate. The hotel itself is old; the parking lot is old with lots of pot holes and the hotel oversees some mangy area. But, once inside, you see that they've done a really nice job updating this hotel and keeping it current. The rooms are quite nice, typical Marriott, but still quite nice. As a Platinum Elite Marriott Rewards member I stay at a lot of Marriotts. This one is conveniently located off the highway, restaurants around and just minutes from the Dolphin historic area. It was easy to see from the exit but not so easy to see where to enter. Then I easily saw the building but the main entry was a little obscure and not well noted By signage. We found the drive through but no one outside to welcome which was weird for a full service Marriott. I walked in to see if we were in... Read more

Great hotel!!! Wonderful service!!! We ate at the restaurant in the hotel, Anthony was our server and he was FABULOUS! The restaurant was a little pricey, but not outrageous! The pool was nice with an eight foot deep end! We would happily stay here again! Thank you.

While some may think this is the elite of all hotels, they simply do not stay in hotels much. When I arrived, I booked during a Jehovahs Witness conference with 8,000 religious people running around. That unnerved me in and of itself. But check in was a nightmare. There were 12 vehicles in the lobby area with ONLY TWO bell hops to move luggage. Thats right, no carts to move luggage yourself. I asked to be put near an elevator since I am in Law Enforcement and we were in town on business and... Read more

This is a nice hotel in a good, convenient location. We enjoyed the pool and staying on a concierge level was worth it! We had a great breakfast and Janice the concierge was wonderful. The bartender at the restaurant downstairs lacked some personality, and we had to ask for towels (only 1 towel in the room???), but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

My family booked this hotel as a night stop on a journey. The beds were very plush, the distant view of the bay with the sunrise was amazing, and the room was what we expected from a Marriott hotel. There was a corvette club group staying at the hotel when we arrived, which made things pretty cool. My boyfriend and kids were so excited by all the beautiful corvettes. So this added to the experience!
