I booked before I checked ratings. It wasn't as bad as I expected. Room size is nice but really 70's. Linens had cig burns as well as bed spreads. Didn't smell bad and rest was OK. I would look elsewhere until you hear about a redo of the rooms.

The room had a very bad smell in it that air fresher would not get rid of. They really need to remodel the place. The pool was nasty my daughter found a condom in the pool which the pool was full of leaves. Look like No one had clean it that day before it open. Under sleeper sofa we found a trashbag so that tell me no one pull it out. It's really a cheap room but for what I paid I paid to much for what we saw. If u have to stay please check ur room throughly before unpacking. Unfortunately I co... Read more

No coffee in room no tissues none avaiable at front desk. Bathroom ceiling leaking from upstairs room . Worst room I stayed in my life. DO NOT STAY IN THIS DUMP.When you complain about the conditions of the room to the clerk smiling at you does not fix anything.

I spent 4 nights in Mobile seeing the historic homes, some museums, and eating seafood and pie. The Jameson Inn was well located for these activities, and provided a comfortable retreat at the end of the day. A refrigerator and microwave were handy additions, and there was a buffet breakfast with ample choices every day. There was always someone available at the desk and helpful with information and directions.

Good location off exit 4 / I-65 next door to Cracker Barret restaurant. Good beds. Clean room. Property looked a little dated. At location less than 14 hours. Okay for quick stay. Would stay there again when traveling through. Strong Wi-Fi connection.

I was making my reservation this year for our overnight stay on our way to the beach. I remembered this nasty place from last year. We didn't need amenities, but we did want a clean place to sleep. I had made reservations here because of convenience of location. NEVER AGAIN here! It's a disgusting dump. We got into Mobile after dark and it was raining. Otherwise, we would have looked for another room.

The Jameson is a very low budget hotel. When Mobile was booked everywhere else I was placed here by a travel company. I didn't stay 5 minutes. People hanging of the second story balcony. A/C was very poor. Room was dated and old.

The staff was not terrible, being close vicinity (walking distance) to WalMart was a plus. The rooms were definitely clean but severely outdated in terms of everything. The toilet seat was broken, the shower was disgusting and old with stains. Cracker Barrel was behind the hotel so thats a plus I suppose.
