My high school golf teams, boys and girls, stayed here in early May for our state tournament at the RTJ Hampton Cove. The rooms were fantastic. Each one of my rooms, 5 total, were the suites with two queens with flat screen, bathroom in the middle, with pull out sofa and flat screen and desk along with fridge and microwave in the front part of room. We could close the doors btw for privacy. All rooms were great. Beds were excellent. Check in was fast. Elevators on both sides of building for easi... Read more

This was a stay only for one night, but the bed was so big and comfortable and the rooms have a separate living room with double doors, the bathroom has a huge walk in shower with glass doors. There is plenty of space if you need to entertain in the hotel room. I will stay at this hotel again.

Mold and mildew outside of and inside of shower. Requested to have condition correct and upon return to my room later that afternoon the attempt corrections were terrible. No follow up by staff to find out if conditions were corrected. Lack of cleanliness has been noted at this hotel property on previous stays. Conditions appear to be the acceptable standard for this hotel. I won't be back.

I have been using this hotel for many years. The staff is extremely welcoming - the facility is clean and well maintained. Most importantly, the folks recognize you and remember the items you prefer and your room type. The fitness center is okay (small) but again well maintained. The location is a bit distant from the main military base - but the quiet is worth the short distance of travel. I highly recommend it for the frequent business traveler.

We stayed here for 4 days on personal travel. Our first impression was spacious! The room was clean, and daily housekeeping did a pretty good job during our stay. Guests are given a warm cookie...nice touch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They provided good recommendation to some Southern cooking that did not disappoint. The fitness room and pool are well-kept, although fitness room is a bit small. During our stay, there was roadway construction, but our room was pretty quiet. ... Read more

I wish I remembered his name. The room was clean, comfortable and had all we needed. We were even given complimentary toothpaste as we had ran out on our 9 day vacation. The furniture in the sitting area was the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever encountered in a hotel. The sofa sagged in the middle when you sat on it. The hot tub didn't work and the pool appeared to have mold or algae growing in it. I would not stay here again.

I have stayed in this hotel twice for work trips. I have never experienced this anywhere else before, but the hotel system does not allow the thermostat to go below 68 or 70 degrees. I am a warm and light sleeper, and I find it unbearable to sleep with the heat of the summer beating down on the windows and walls of this hotel. I have talked to the management during my stays and they simply say there is nothing they can do about it. Bottom line...if you're a cold sleeper, you'll love it. If ... Read more

My wife and son stayed overnight on our trip to Panama City. Check in staff was courteous and very apologetic for an elevator being out of service and offered to move us to a side of the hotel with the other elevator. We had a King suite and it was a huge room with double doors between the bedroom and living area (perfect for having a teen with us). This place is ok. The breakfast buffet is good. The beds are comfortable. The pool is nice for the kids, but bring your room towels because the staff didn't keep the pool towels stocked. The A/C in the room didn't get cool enough, an elevator didn't work, the whirlpool didn't whirl, just felt like an average place to stay.

On another business trip to Huntsville. Decided to give DoubleTree a try. The hotel is about 6 miles from downtown, and traffic wasn't too bad. Grounds are very pretty. The front desk was very friendly. Loved the warm cookie and bottled water! Although I didn't swim, the pool looked good and there were a lot of people enjoying it. I will definitely stay here again.

This Hotel was conveniently located to the Space and Rocket Center, the Botanical Gardens, Harmony Safari, Women and Children's Hospital, and Restaurants. It was clean and the kids loved the pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The one problem was that our Non-Smoking Room smelled of smoke. However, the good far outweighed the bad. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others.

I usually prefer Double Tree hotels when traveling on personal or work business. This hotel met my expectations as usual. Overall friendly staff, great room accomediations. I had mild issues with some things. The lighting fixtures were very very dim and the built in outlets would come out of the fixture after unplugging a device. The cleaning crew did not take out any trash and just simple put back the cups instead of replacing them. With those exceptions it was still a great stay overall.

We wanted to take a short weekend getaway and we picked the Double Tree! We were super happy with our choice too!!! Having never visited Huntsville or the hotel, we questioned the economic price, but don't be fooled... It is the BEST BARGAIN! Nice Spacious rooms... The hotel staff was exceptional. Unprofessional support staff (those cleaning the rooms). Uncomfortable sofa to sit on. Room seamed small, to spend a week. A small kitchen would have been useful. Whirlpool and fountains were nasty. If you could overlook all that, then it would be bearable. Anyone on a business trip, who wasn't going to swim, or use the Sofa, and was probably going to just eat sleep and go to work, this would bea great place to stay, relatively speaking.

This was my first and last time staying at a Doubletree. The room was absolutely filthy and the customer service was sub par. Food was ok but not great. I'm glad I used points and not cash. The entire stayed seemed icky.

Scared grandkids, uneasy adults due to violent argument nearby. Construction caused difficulties in coming and going to dinner. Wifi difficulties resulted in my wife never getting on line, and limiting me to complimentary service only.

Experienced rude staff with a hotel error. Only showers, no bathtub in rooms. In room dining is not offered during the hours on the menu and staff seems totally unaware and irritated when you point it out. Needed a shower cap due to no tub and lady seemed irritated she had to look for one.

You get what you pay for here. The room rate was great but the quality of the hotel does not match what I've come to expect from Double Tree and Hilton. Room was clean. Quality of room service is poor, so don't order if you do stay here.

After going in circles due to all the construction the staff was very friendly. Gave us free cookies except my son has a bad peanut allergy and could not eat them. The room was nice but could use a little brighter lights instead of a darker tone. The pull out in the couch was not in the best of shape. We were very hot at night. The thermostat was set at 60 and it's my fault I didn't ask if they could over ride it to make the room cooler. Housekeeping came and asked what we needed. I was taken a... Read more

Construction on Memorial Pkwy has all but hidden this hotel. GPS tells you to turn where you no longer can, so you end up driving in circles. Unless you're familiar with the area you will drive past the hotel countless times before you give up and call the front desk asking them for directions. So you're already pissed off by the time you check-in. Very frustrating!

Welcoming staff and beautiful entryway. The room was enviting and the bed was very comfortable. My breakfast omelet was expertly made and the wait staff was professional and timely. I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

The location was inconvenient possibly due to road construction but there was no apparent signage. The layout of the hotel was strange. The room was not clean and I had the unfortunate experience of having a roach bug in my bathroom. It was difficult to fall asleep.

In town for youth soccer tournament. property was new, modern and very clean. As Hilton Honors member I was impressed. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was a REAL breakfast in the restaurant, juice, good coffee, pastries, eggs, sausage. bacon, pancakes and cereal. Only bad thing is the highway leading to hotel is under construction so access was hindered but that should only be temporary issue.

The outside looks of the hotel looks very tired and dated... so curb appeal will deceive you. The rooms have seem to have been updated I would guess a few years ago based off the wear and tear on my room. Would be amazing would a fresh coat of paint would do. Hotel stay was generally good the only issue I had was the TV kept going in and out for 2 days. Called the front desk they said Comcast was upgrading and there would be outages. Bed was very comfortable and the shower I was very impr... Read more

We left Milwaukee late in the day on our way back to Florida and new would would be late. We called ahead to be sure that wouldn't be an issue and were assured it wouldn't be. After arriving at 4am we were greeted nicely and checked in immediately. The suite (room 307) was perfect. Very clean, very quiet and very spacious! Over looking the pool. Very large bath. As usual with Hilton properties I have used in the past, this one did not disappoint.

Great service, great staff and clean rooms. Enjoyed my stay this weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue was with the construction of the road at the exit to get the hotel. You have to be careful not to miss the turn.

It would be nice to have a free breakfast otherwise this is just another tired Hilton property. Constuction which has been going on forever makes this location a place to avoid if you can even find it.

I was fooled by the four stars. It was by far the worst place I have ever stayed at. Dirty..Dirty...Dirty. Lobby is decent-rooms and hallways are creepy, old and did I mention DIRTY!!! Nice staff-but deceiving reviews. This place is dirty and non-smoking rooms smelled of cigar/cigarette. My hair smelled, I couldn't sleep and I did not feel safe, as one of the rooms we originally booked looked like someone went in, took a nap and then left the room wide open.

The staff was nice. The facility has been modeled to look new. But if you look closely it is not what it seems. The mold on the outside of shower was in prime growth (room 315). The shower stall insert shifts under your feet. One more property that should be sold by Hilton . It's not a bad deal. It's just not Doubletree .

I came to Huntsville unexpectedly due to a medical emergency with my father, and the DoubleTree offered a great rate with great amenities. My family and I really benefited from the Suite setup since the kids could close the doors and watch TV while mom and dad slept. I will always recommend them!

The hotel has a few issues with maintenance; nothing major just minor stuff that had not been kept up like loose toilet paper holder. The breakfast was good and dinner from the Bistro was excellent!!! The staff were super friendly and helpful when I needed to do laundry. The staff made up for the minor maintenance issues.

I was not overly pleased with the front desk staff. I was travelling alone, and after entering my room, realized that I was right near a side entrance on the bottom floor. I requested a new room, and the front desk staff checked my status and noted that they could not change my room. I submitted a review on the Hilton app, and was contacted immediately. The Hilton corporate staff were fantastic, and renew my thought that Hilton is a fantastic chain. I truly feel that they care about my experienc... Read more

I chose this hotel because of it's closeness to Crestwood hospital for my wife. I was greeted with more enthusiasm than I'm used to and was processed in very quickly. Unfortunately, the refrigerator in my room didn't work. I called the front desk and Erik Showers got me in another room within five (5) minutes and even brought the keys to me. I had a quick stay here Thanksgiving night, after the turkey and the relatives. The hotel was clean, the room and bed were fine. I had to be on the road early the next morning so I was not able to use my breakfast coupon, but the short stay was good. The road in front of the hotel is under some heavy reconstruction, so it is a challenge to find late at night.

Good friendly service. Clean and comfortable. Construction going on which made it a difficult entry. Room was updated but some things like the A/C, plugs, phone and ceiling fan didn't work properly. Maintenance came up right away and fixed the A/C. It was Thanksgiving so I was impressed. Overall, great staff, courteous and accommodating.

Very comfortable rooms here, with large lounge area, coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Bed is superb, and the breakfast good quality (though don't ask for English style boiled eggs!). The bar S well stocked, and has a cheaper happy hour from 5 - 7pm. All rooms are quiet, and parking is ample. I liked the welcome warm cookie especially. Staff really friendly and helpful, and wifi connection was excellent.
