Hotel is right on the gulf. Nice facilities: pool, hot tub, tiki bar with live entertainment, breakfast with lots of cold and hot choices. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay there again.

Love this hotel! Definitely choose the ocean view- totally worth it! Breakfast is great- staff is awesome! The ocean is clean and kept beautiful by a great staff member who makes sure it's perfect each and every day.

Rooms outdated for the price. I've stayed in much nicer Hilton Gardens. Tub was rusty, towel handle fell off and maid service was not the best. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great! Right on the beach!

Great Day Shift Front Desk staff! Jasmine & Liz were amazing- super friendly. The rooms are in need of a deep cleaning but Lobby area and pool area were extremely clean. Easy access from hotel to beach.

Updated rooms, cold and quiet a/c, comfy bed, and great view of the Gulf. Pat was welcoming upon check-in. Wonderful and inviting staff at breakfast. Made-to-order omelettes, french toast, and eggs in addition to breakfast buffet with pastries, fruits, yogurts, and breads. Coffee was hot and juices were cold. Nice pool with bar and live music. Located right on the beach and a short drive to many wonderful restaurants, you couldn't ask for more.

Overall this was a great hotel and a great stay. We arrived early and I had not called about early check-in so I understood when a room was not ready. They were more than okay with us using the premises and beach access while we waited. We checked in at 4pm and realized that our toilet was not working correctly. Management sent up someone to fix it and it worked for about 20 minutes before going out again. While we went to dinner they determined they could not fix it and offered us two choices t... Read more

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The location couldn't be better...right on the beach and centrally located between Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. There isn't much within walking distance, but anywhere you want to go is a very short drive away. The rooms were large, and I loved that they had a balcony, microwave, and refrigerator. We took a ton of stuff, and there was plenty of room for everything. The beds were really comfortable too. The lobby and hotel were decorated nicely, and ev... Read more

The staff is very friendly they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are clean and the hotel is maintained well. Skye McGowin the hotel manager went out of his way to make us feel welcome, also upgraded us to a better room at a great price when he found out we were checking out, Now that's customer service. Thank you!

This hotel manager actually told us that this is the 2nd oldest Hilton hotel. Our bathroom had mold on the ceiling above the tub. This hotel is in need of renovations! (I just heard a staff member say they're about to renovate. I hope that's true!) The staff seemed over-worked on one day. The next day was great though. The breakfast is NOT included and costs $10 per person. The chairs with umbrellas by the beach do NOT belong to the hotel. It's just not worth the money.

I chose this hotel because of the Hilton Brand and reviews on TripAdvisor. Great beach location and yes the rooms are a little tired. Bed was comfortable and the room very cool despite hot temps outside. Once the renovations are complete the exterior will match the top notch customer service. Liz called me to let me know the room I had requested was unavailable but she delivered on a room with an great view which is all I wanted. Breakfast service and food were delightful. Upon arrival I was excited by the location-right on the beach! The staff was polite, and said they would text me when my room was ready. Never happened. As 4pm approached, I went to the desk again and they said room was ready. Got in and floor was so dirty, our feet were black a few minutes after we kicked off our shoes. The carpet was stained and had a terrible odor. The toilet was very slow to flush and clogged very easily. Pretty location, but for the price, I was disappointed.

We spent one night here as we were just passing through. Its a very clean and well run motel that seems modern and new. The room was clean and the manager that check us in was friendly and most helpful. The pool was unique as it was an indoor/outdoor pool, however we didn't use it. Easy access to the beach through the pool area was nice though. We weren't there long enough to give this motel a positive or negative review although we would stay there again if for no other reason than location.

I made last minute plans to come to the beach and this was the cheapest place I could find directly on the beach. Best things about this hotel: breakfast was worth the 9.50/person, staff was very friendly and helpful, AC in room kept room super cool, easy beach access, and for PokemonGo players there were about 4-5 Pokemon to catch every time I turned on the app just in my room! The pool area was small and if you didn't get there early all the chairs were taken but other than that we en... Read more

Staff is friendly and helpful, but the hotel is dirty and needs repairs. Room was good, but again, needs repairs. Would be ok for $100 a night, but definitely not a $250 to $450 per night hotel, beach or no beach. very dissatisfied.

Breakfast was crazy time but the staff never showed frustration. Bar Service was top notch. Beach was easy access. The view of the beach was fantastic. Room service didn't show up until three days after we arrived. Bathroom is very small. Barely enough room for one person. Toilet didn't work when we arrived, but they fixed that pretty quickly. Hotel staff at the front desk was very nice. They always spoke to us as we walked by.

This hotel had a great staff. They were extremely nice and accommodating. However, the bathroom was not clean and had mold in the shower. The beds were hard and the pool area is in serious need of repairs. A little shocked that this is a Hilton Brand hotel.

The beach and pool area are lovely. The staff is friendly and considerate. The room this year could use some work, though. The a/c is a wall unit and whoever sleeps closest to it freezes. There was also a big torn area in the carpet right next to the refrigerator. I think they are doing some renovations which will help. We were outside almost the entire time so it didn't bother us much.

Walking into the lobby of this place you'd think this is going to be awesome. The lobby was clean and modern. Staff was friendly. Walking to your room down a long dimly lit hallway.. ehh, getting into your room, it's decent. Well used with not enough up keep. Beds were at least clean and comfortable. Other positives; it's location, you can walk to the beautiful beach and the pool was actually really nice. Really enjoyed staying at the Hilton Garden Inn at Orange Beach. The hotel is in need of a face lift as hallways and bathroom are a bit worn. I believe they are getting ready to remodel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms were clean. I am a Hilton Honours member so that got me a couple extra niceties. Beach front room was fabulous. After reading some of the reviews I had some trepidation about staying at this hotel. But I found it to be okay. The hallways on floors are cold enough to hang meat. No big deal. The ice machine on my floor where I stayed four nights had a sign on it saying we apologize for it not working. One would think they could get a maintenance person to repair it. There is some rust in the bathroom but that is to be expected in a beachfront hotel due to salt air. It's not as bad as some say. It's okay.

Room on ocean side smelled of urine when we arrived. The front desk sent an attendant up immediately to clean. A sign noted an intention to renovate the facility soon which is needed. The room was nice though dated and the ocean view was good. The air conditioner was drafty blowing across the beds. The pool water was cold. Deck chairs were lacking. The small bar was adequate and served a great Bloody Mary. The walk to the gulf was close. The vendor chairs with umbrella were overpriced at $30 day... Read more

I stayed here because it was a Hilton. You expect quality, but here you do not get it. The carpets and tile need to be replaced, the rooms are dingy. The sliding glass door was soo rusted I could barely open it. The fridge and coffee maker were plugged into an extension cord that was plugged into a second extension cord and then into the wall. The "free" Wi-Fi did not work, and neither did my 4g, until I stepped out of the building. The hot tubs were disgusting and the jets did not work.

Normally I would give this hotel an average score. It's a little worn and needs a renovation. I had to let the water run for 45 minutes waiting for it to get warm. The carpet had quite a few frays and the furniture has seen its best days. However, the staff is outstanding. Ron, in the bar was very helpful and a great to visit with. The front desk folks were nice and helpful. All this place needs is some TLC.
