My room smelled bad and felt damp. The rest of the property was good except for the stinky room. This is the first time I have had a bad room at a Hampton inn. I prefer Hampton for the nice fresh clean rooms and overall well run facilities. I only hope this is a one time experience.

The Hilton brand is a favorite of mine. They seem to be everywhere. Normal Hilton standards. The free coffee in the morning makes my day. I have to keep writing... I am trying to write a quick and concise review.

Overnight stop for a very long road trip was Hampton Inn dependable. Had hot cookies from the front desk as we checked in. Clean comfortable room and hotel was clean at large. Breakfast had scrambled eggs and sliced sausage as prepared hot food. Easy on and off for interstate highway travel. Quite Sunday night stay and back on the road Monday bright and early.

Trip to Hampton Inn in Greenville AL was very disappointing. Rates had doubled since previous year. Apparently management has gotten greedy as points required to stay free had increased by 13000! Yes, that's NOT a typo!!

Have stayed at Hampton Inn in USA previously, so hoped it would be as good. Not disappointed at all, the beds are so large & comfortable, the room was spacious & clean. The young lady on reception overnight was friendly & helpful. The buffet breakfast was included in the price & was plentiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff is always friendly and the hotel is conveniently laid out for parking and easy arrival and departure with luggage. The hotel lobby and rooms are clean with nice accommodations. They have the hot oatmeal that I have come to love at the Hampton in, with a variety of fresh fruit that easy to grab and go. It is also near lots of dining options.

We were late arriving to the hotel but had called to advise them that we would be there around 1 am. We got there and stood inside the double doors to be let in. We buzzed no answer, we knocked. No one was at the desk. After 15 minutes we called the hotel and hears the phone ringing. Another 10 minutes pass and we are seeing someone walk toward the door, looks at us and walks to the desk to answer the phone. I said we were waiting at the doors to be let in. She said we had to use our key.... Read more

This hotel was $154.90 per night. The hotel has a horrible odor. They charged my wife's card even after I had already paid for the room on my card. 3 das later and they still had not dropped the funds held. Rude front desk clerk when we called to have the funds released.

Stayed there last Sunday for a night after a long drive. Excellent receptionist got us a great room and recommend the Hampton in Greenville. Room was clean and the breakfast, while basic, coffee and rolls were great, the rest was ok-- Would definitely stay there again.

We decided to stop for the evening rather than push on home, and chose this hotel, looking at what was available on Priceline in Greenville, Al. It was perfect. Spotlessly clean lobby and room, fridge and microwave, well above average free breakfast, and polite staff. I believe I paid a little more than I had to using Priceline, but no matter, it was worth it!

Very smelly. Offered $5 discount for uncomfortable odor. Not worth the price. Had 4 rooms for family. All 4 rooms smelled of musty dirty odor. Poor ventilation and just smelled horrible. Would need better discount.

Convenient and quiet hotel near restaurants and the interstate. We will stay here again when traveling up or down I 65. I hear that touring old Greenville is nice but we did not have a chance. The outdoor pool is very nice too!

We had about ten family members staying at this hotel. We really enjoyed on visit. The staff was very nice and friendly. We did not let the hotel know we would all be staying, so some morning, we had to wait until they had cooked more food.

On the way to the beach and stopped over at the Greenville, AL Hampton for the night. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was great, clean and comfortable. Pool and grounds were immaculate. Wife couldn't resist putting her feet in the pool while having a glass of wine and relaxing in the quiet.

Just South of Montgomery you can break up the long drive to the coast with this affordable option. Nothing fancy, just a good clean room, comfortable Hampton bed, free hot breakfast and the price is low enough for a good nights sleep. Most importantly, it usually has good availability when Auburn has the rooms filled north of Montgomery, or during heavy travel times.

The room smelled like dirty feet-- I have never had this happen at this hotel before-- plus walls were DIRTY-- there was a yellow ring around the tub. They DID move me to another room that was much better.

Great stop in our way to the beach , too Was great, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast typical Hampton but good. Coffee always fresh. Grounds well kept. Should have seating in the designated smoking area. Sitting on the curb with other guests not very pleasant . Benches or chairs would be great.

We stopped at this hotel on the way to Destin, FL. Very convenient and right off the interstate. We arrived very late at night and the staff was very efficient with check-in, which wa important because we were so tired. I left a blouse and called check out day and they held it for me to pick up on the return trip. The bed did not seem to be as comfortable as all of our other Hampton Inn stays. It was still very comfortable and we were to get much needed rest to complete the trip and enjoy t... Read more

This Hampton is a little older, but maintained well. The room was clean and smelled fresh, the beds comfortable, and staff friendly. The breakfast is the norm for most hotels today. There are several restaurants nearby. A Cracker Barrel is next door. Not a bad stay for the price either.

As usual I can depend on the Hampton to provide quality service. Everything was as close to perfect as it can be from the time I booked the reservation til the time I check out. The room was located near the front desk, therefore the noise level was very low. As a matter of fact, I don't think I heard anything. The quality of the breakfast was great. The front desk staff was pleasant and greeted me as a Hilton Honors member.

I expected excelrnt service. That's what I got! I selected Hamptons for the 6 day trip because of known quality and the breakfasts. The only problem I had was that ONE out of the 5 Hamptons we used handed me a room list and 19 key cards for me to sort out. The others put the names inside the key folders. This provided security and saved me having to sort out 19 rooms. Walt Hoy
