Will never stay anywhere else. We love to travel and have not stayed at Hampton inn for years....forgot what great service we received. Loved the bed and pillows and the large variety for breakfast.. The desk person explained the honors program and helped us apply We will share our experience with family and friends and social media.

Stayed at this property with my family on our way to Florida. Lived up to expectations I have for a Hampton Inn. Upon arrival the AC was not working but that was fixed promptly once reported. I appreciated the fact that they A palled a request for connecting rooms.

hotel was clean, breakfast was adequate, fitness facility was very nice. One thing I do not understand is why the hotel still has smoking rooms. Do away with them they just stink up the entire floor. Designate a place outdoors away from the entrance and certainly not at the pool.

Hampton Inn is my "go to" when traveling, and this location stands out for several reasons: 1. Rooms are a bit larger than the average Hampton Inn, 2. The hotel is squeaky clean! Always! 3. The complimentary breakfast is better than the standard Hampton breakfast (though that's pretty decent). They offered fresh berries, grapefruit and melon -- not the frozen/thawed stuff. So good. 4. Coffee, juice and fruit were available 24/7. So nice to come in from a long day to a refreshing glass of juice!... Read more

We have stayed at this location 4-5 times this year due to my sons baseball tournaments. We will be staying again this weekend. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and nice for the price. Breakfast and late night snacks are great for tournament days. Pool is small but sufficient to cool down after a long game. I just wish they offered egg beaters and a few healthier choices at breakfast and would refill items as they run out. Twice I have gone down at 7:30 am to find serving trays empty and items... Stayed here for 2 nights to be near a family reunion site. We typically stay at Hamptons & this one is nice. It's modernly appointed & clean - nice flatscreen tv & the bathroom is updated. There are fresh cookies in the lobby until 9 pm & a free daily breakfast. The king room we had did not have a tub so if that's important to you, you might want to request it. I took a star off for 2 reasons: 1. This hotel still has smoking rooms. We were in a non-smoking room but there were still times tha... Read more

This hotel is a normal Hampton Inn, but only a handful of the staff speaks english. I acted as translator for basic questions like "do you have another trash bag?" or "can I get another pack of coffee?'. None of the custodial or maintenance workers could answer these unless in Spanish. Additionally watch out for the bait and switch with you room as far as not winding up with what you reserved.

Pool looked nice and clean and had several guest taking advantage. Checked out very early in the morning, no problems and we were on our way.

I was here in late May 2016, for an overnight stay while I handled a family matter in Calera. I have to say, 5-star treatment from the hotel staff, clean spacious room, and an excellent selection for a complimentary buffet -- all for a very reasonable price. If I ever need to do so, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We head down to Florida from Kansas CIty every year in June or July and need a stopping place. We used to stop in Pellham, AL but Calera has become our fave. Quick off & on highway, the Hampton is easily accessible and located by a McDonald's, Bojangles Chicken, a Walmart and a gas station. The staff are always very nice and accommodating. Stopped here during our cross country road trip. The weather was getting bad so we chose to stay here and were very pleased. It's located in a up and coming town not too far off of i-65. The staff was very friendly and the hotel itself was bright and well kept. The beds were a very nice welcome after sleeping on air mattresses for the past week. Major location pluses are there's a Walmart right next to it, a McDonalds and a sports bar right across the street.

I had an occasion to visit some of my family in Alabama, and it was recommended to me to stay at the Hampton Inn in Calera. Calera is not too far from Birmingham, so going back at forth to the city isn't that bad. A rental car would definitely be your friend. So my usual suggestions: Call the hotel before you stay and ask those pertinent questions, and get a "lay of the land" by Googling the area. Doing those two things, and include a GPS for the rental, and your trip will be much easier. The ... Read more
