This has to be the dirtiest and most run down hotel I have ever stayed in. Being Talladega weekend my choices were limited and almost every hotel was booked except this one. There is a reason for this. We arrived early but were able to check in to the room, #101, which was down in almost a walk out basement area. The hallway was full of cobwebs and had a stack of what looked like siding in a pile, it smelled damp, musty and moldy. The room smelled no better and was absolutely disgusting. The c... Read more

I booked and read reviews after, so you can imagine after seeing all these horrible reviews, i braced myself for the worst. It was not too bad. It was a good place to stay for a good price. I was not impressed with breakfast, and the guy in the breakfast area creeped me out... The bed was not as comfortable as my bed at home, and really the only bad part about my stay here. They need to invest in new pillows. Overall, not bad, clean space, 1 night.

Oh my where do I start? We booked with Amex Travel thinking with American Express they would only list decent hotels.....WRONG!!!! Upon arrival the woman at the front desk kept laughing? Not sure with us or the TV show she kept looking at which I did not see the humor so I was confused? Ok so we got our room key and walking to the filthy front door there was a strong aroma of marijuana in the area. We thought ok lets just get in room so we can rest our eyes for the night. Well in the room I coul... Read more

The Rime Hotel management cancelled my reservation within 5 days of my arrival after over 2 months of advance booking. Meanwhile other friends staying the same weekend were announcing a couple weeks prior that "rooms had become available" for them. The manager had been accepted newer reservations while kicking upwards of ten other individuals' reservations that had been placed beforehand. The online reservation folks told me the hotel had overbooked the rooms and cancelled on people after th... Read more

So confused on how to rate this place. Room was half clean. Bathroom was clean thank god I had not planned on using the kitchen. Sheets were clean but the bedside table was broke. Furniture very old and not in an antique cute kinda way. Gated area, but wondered if they were keeping people in or out. Someone was smoking weed outside that smelled so bad I wondered if it wasn't lawn grass mixed in. I didn't dare make coffee. I let the woman at the desk know and she wrote it down. Hopefully they do ... Read more
