I stayed here while I was in Birmingham for work. I was surprised to find everything in the room was new. The bathroom was nice and clean, and the shower wasn't the soft spray type you find at most hotels. The internet was fast whenever I logged on. It was a great location, and the staff was helpful when I needed directions. I plan on staying here whenever I have to be in the Birmingham area for work.

I was recently in the Birmingham area for business and stayed here. The room was new and very comfortable. The internet was fast, which is was great since it can be bogged down at other places. The staff was friendly and helpful when I need some directions. I will definitely stay here again when I'm back in the area.

The rooms were newly renovated and clean. Cute! Big tv, comfy pillows, 8 minute drive to the airport. Super nice owners. Not a BAD part of town by any means, but not the best. Towels were scratchy. They were renovating the outside while we were there, so it will look nice soon! Not too shabby for only 100/night (Talladega NASCAR weekend - price couldn't be beat)

The most uncomfortable beds . My husband and I are still stove up . And you could hear almost everything outside the room , people talking , people stomping.. besides that though the rooms were nice and very clean. And the people were kind and very polite.

I had to travel to Birmingham on a business trip and stayed at the Red Roof Inn Birmingham East - Irondale. The newly renovated rooms were really nice and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again if I have to travel back for work.

I had stayed at the Red Roof #334, in Van Horn, TX, mainly for the "pet free" status they have, and found it to be very comfortable, free WiFi, USB charging ports built in, free breakfast & the nicest staff you could ask for. They were so nice, I made a point of tell of telling them while checking out the next morning. There was no Red Roof at my next stop, but I stopped at the Red Roof Inn #361, Irondale, Ala. June 2nd for my last over night before driving to High Point, NC. It was under renova... Read more

Great stay and value for the location! My sister stayed here for vacation and loved it, so I took her recommendation when I traveled to the area. The rooms are nicely finished and up to date. My room had wood floors, which I've actually never encountered before in other hotels. The wifi is fast, better than most hotels I've stayed. Overall had a very pleasant experience and will be staying again the next time I'm in the area!

Because I have had some great past experiences with Red Roof Inns, they have become my first choice when seeking a familiar place to stay when away from home. My good experiences have outweighed the not so good ones, but honestly there have been some Red Roof Inns that I would never go back to again. So originally back in May when I first spoke with this motel owner and I was very honest about my skepticism and concerns prior to booking, Mr. Amit Patel's willingness to listen intently and fully ... Under construction. Pool was not open. Rooms were nice, remodeled and clean. The outside had a lot of work that needed to be done. Staff was friendly. We left a necklace behind on accident and housekeeping returned it to the front desk which was very nice. Mall and other stores were nearby.

It was much nicer than I had expected. The only thing that went wrong was I brought my own pillow that helps me sleep and when we where leaving we accidentally took one of the hotel pillows instead of my "MyPillow". The Red Roof Inn came out ahead on this mistake, mine was a $40 pillow. (Very frustrated with myself)

We spent the night on our way to Florida. The renovations they have made are great. Everything was perfect. Comfortable beds, nice furnishing and great upgrades. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it

We stayed in one of the updated rooms. So nice!!! I love that there is NO carpet and the floors were very clean. Breakfast was wonderful, even had biscuits and gravy! My only complaint is the dull lighting over the sink. They need brighter bulbs!!! I could not see at all to do my hair or makeup.

Stayed here on business in Aug. 2016. The room was really nice. Fluffy towels and a comfy bed. Rooms and property recently upgraded (Obviously) Not all Red Roofs offer breakfast, but this one did and it was really good. I would encourage you to give them a try when passing through.

I'm not a fan. This motel charges double what it's worth. Yes, the rooms have been refreshed, but there are faults. I'm on the street side of the motel and the road noise is evident, as well as the frequent trains. The sheets appear to be clean, but they have red stains (I guess from juice or wine). The light in the bathroom dressing area is very dim. There is a stain on the floor in front of the toilet, and the water runs in the tub constantly. I had to turn on the water to full hot i... Everything as expected and more. CLEAN room, love the hard floors, neat sinks! Good breakfast - can get crowded in the dining room, but get over it! Housekeeping made sure we had clean towels every day - big, thirsty towels! Might be a little pricey on special weekends (race weekends) but beats Hampton Inn's 200 bucks a night! Wireless was fast, showers hot! Yes, you hear trains and traffic - but no big deal really. If you don't mind stairs, ask for room 301.

My family and friends stopped for the night at this Red Roof Inn the night before the Talladega race on 10/22/2016. We had two rooms reserved. Upon arrival, the room that was given to my friends had not yet been cleaned, but they were quickly provided an alternate room that had been cleaned. Both rooms had issues with the A/C units, but maintenance quickly came and repaired both. Because we have a small child, I had requested a room on the ground floor during my reservation; however, we we... Read more

Near the Interstate, but quiet and friendly. The unit was very recently updated. There is plenty of green space to walk your dog. The breakfast was excellent and free. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Rude staff and bed bugs in their bed. Attached is a picture of all my bites from their bed bugs. Place is noisy next to a freeway. You can really hear the cars from the freeway. Very noisy. If i can give this review a zero i would. So far tripadvisor did not post my review for this place. So far i am still looking for my earlier review and still did not find it. I thought this website is suppose to be a real review. Now i am starting to wonder.
