I was in Birmingham for business at the airport - this hotel is located at the entrance to the airport - perfect location. I was happy to find out at check in that there is a restaurant and lounge on property so I did not have to leave property for dinner (they have pool tables and tv's as well). The guest room was very large and looked to be recently renovated as everything was new in the room. I was very happy with my stay at this hotel and will be back. Rooms were not clean, had to change rooms because smoke detector was chirping and no maintenance to change battery. Dirty towel in closet on floor, trash behind bed. Television picture snow and lines, could hardly see it. Breakfast costs $7 for buffet, can't say when I've seen that. Not recommended.

I stayed here recently for a week on business. The hotel itself is in fair condition. A little dated but fair. Location isn't great but hotel is safe. Room cleanliness is average. Pool is salt water and excellent. My soul motivation for writing this review is the staff. I've traveled the country for over 10 years and stayed in hundreds of hotels. This staff was the best part of my stay. Hands down best manager I've ever seen. When I get to Birmingham again, if needed, I would definitely out ... Read more

We stayed at this hotel near the airport in order to make a very early flight out the next morning. Proximity to the Birmingham Airport is this hotel's one advantage. And the staff was cordial and as helpful as possible. The facility is in need of a major upgrade. I would rate this hotel less than average but not altogether "poor." Nice stay for last minute. Traditional motel air conditioner was outdated and loud. Friendly staff. Poor Cable quality. Good for a short run to the airport.
