Our family was there to attend a funeral. The hotel needs much better direction signs from the freeway. It was most difficult at night in the rain to locate the hotel. One car that had arrived in the daytime had to go to the freeway to lead the other cars to the hotel. The hotel rooms are impossible to keep cool! The hotel staff were wonderful and breakfast great.

We enjoyed our one night stay here. The pool was greatly enjoyed. I felt like the room was clean and never heard any other guest. The breakfast was ok. Not a huge spread but decent. My kids went swimming when we got there. There were only two pool towels, we used both. When we went swimming the next morning the towels had not been replenished. Not a big deal. Just kind of annoying.

This hotel has excellent service no matter what you may want or need and they do it with a smile every time! It is conveniently located to I-65 as well as lots of great shopping and dining options. Oh and did I mention the awesome cookies they have for their guest when you arrive in the evenings, they are fantastic and smell so good as you are walking in to the hotel at the end of your work/travel day. It makes coming back to your room a pleasure at the end of your day.

The hotel hosted our group of ten volleyball families as we were in town for a tournament. The hotel was easy to find, parking was adequate and there were many places around to eat and shop. As usual, breakfast was good, staff friendly and rooms were comfortable. The coffee could have been better but overall, everyone was very pleased with their stay and felt the value was good for the price paid.

The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, even the Housekeeping. My check in and check out experience was met with top level customer service and I plan to utilize this location for future business and personal travel.

We stayed here using Hilton Points and it was worth it. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. There was a popcorn machine in the lobby area and it was a fun snack. They also had various snack items and products available for sale in the lobby, so no worries with a vending machine. Having stayed before, husband asked for a room away from the interstate. Stayed here three years in s row on our way to north Alabama to stay with friends. Very satisfied each time. Rooms are very clean. Staff is friendly and hotel is quiet at night. Will definitely stay here again.

Very professional staff They're very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is very good they offer a nice varieties of food and fruit. The Hotel is surrounded by various restaurants and shopping areas.

A beautiful drive back to this Hampton Inn! Very comfortable bed, ample breakfast choices, friendly front desk staff. Received a coupon for a free appetizer or dessert from Landry's restaurant which is right down the road and the gal at the front desk said it was delicious. We tried it out and she was right on! Great stay and dinner! Will use this Hampton again and eat at Landry's if we are ever back this way!

The staff of this hotel are very helpful and nice. The rooms are always clean and tidy. Never have any trouble here! Hotel is located in a good area with sever eating places nearby to serve your needs.

our room had an overwhelming odor of Febreeze or some other spray. Horrible nights sleep, watering eyes stuffy nose. No offer to check room on checkout or to honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Very disappointed. Room was nice, clean, but that smell was awful.

I stay here regularly for business and the staff is fabulous, beds are comfortable and the coffee is very good!! Genuinely the best and friendliest hotel I have stayed at in the Birmingham area. I highly recommend this Hampton!

Could not ask for better accommodation on any level. The entire staff rendered great service and our room was clean and quiet. We have visited here before and we do not consider another facility when in Birmingham. The location gives you several choices at meal time and is directly accross Lakeshore Drive from Wal-Mart if you need other accessories.

Great room, clean hotel overall. Great breakfast. The pool was a little gross. Film like bubbly substance. Made me think it wasn't properly cared for. It had just rained so that could have been part of the problem. There were no towels at the pool, but just used the poolside phone to call the front desk and the towels were brought right out very quickly.

This Hampton Inn location is located south of the city center with pretty easy I-65 access. The facility and rooms are in good condition and clean. The high tech room thermostat may (or may not) be your friend. Free room wifi access was solid (two separate checks returned a 3.00 mbps download and a 3.05 upload speed.) Very clean, well appointed rooms, spacious. Breakfast had many options to choose from. Holiday weekend rates are pricey, but in line with others on these weekends. We were here for family anniversary.

Super clean, super helpful, super courteous! The room was very clean, but the white linens in the bathroom and bedroom demonstrated exactly how clean those personal items were. The pillows were many and soft, the mattress exceedingly comfortable.

I've stayed at this hotel on several previous visits to Birmingham.......they seemed to get better each stay as this stay was certainly the best.... The service was excellent, the staff had a pulse and was quite attentive as they called me by name, rooms were clean and quite comfortable.....this venue for my purposes is situated in an excellent location and a good value!!

Booked online and I called to confirm our reservation and the gentlemen who answered the phone sounded so happy and pleasant. First impressions make the difference when going somewhere new and I knew instantly by talking to this man that our stay would be great. Upon arrival we were greeted instantly by smiling staff. The staff were all polite and cared about our comfort during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay, very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel needs to have better directional signs leaving the North exit ramp. It is difficult to locate. Check-in went smoothly and staff offered dinner suggestions.

Bathroom had someone else's shampoo and soap left in the shower. The pool seemed to be dirty and cloudy. Experienced very red eyes after being in there only 10 minutes. Expected more from a Hilton brand hotel.

i have stayed here several times when i travel, and always find it clean, which is my biggest priority. the staff has always been friendly and welcoming. it is far enough away from city center to avoid most problems and yet is easy access from the interstate. the morning food selections are plentiful. there is plenty of shopping and restaurant selections nearby. i will return soon.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate, the happy hour was unexpected, and the breakfast was good. Easy to find, right off the interstate. I would stay here again.

This hotel is a blemish on the reputation of Hampton Inn. If this were my first stay at Hampton I would never stay at another Hampton. The hotel is old, dated and in terrible need of remodeling. If I ever stay at another Hampton hotel like this one, I will never risk staying at another Hampton Inn.

Prior to my arrival this week, the front desk staff was phenomenal. I called several times to assure that my 3 reservations were secure and had SEVERAL questions prior to arrival. No matter when I called, day or night, everyone was courteous and hospitable. I did not sense any false humility... it was genuine. I'm definitely looking forward to my stay with this friendly staffing. I just hope the amenities are as pleasant.
