Very disappointed in this hotel! There weren't enough clean towels for us when we arrived and we were told there weren't any more available. Never had this problem at any hotel ever and we travel a lot! We are Hilton Honors Program members too! Never received any of the program benefits. AND to top it off our room was never cleaned when we got back the next evening from our event! So you guessed it . . . NO CLEAN TOWELS!

Room was what you'd expect at a Hilton, but the front desk staff - each shift - made an extra effort that was appreciated. Not the usual anonymous arrival/departure scenario. I would stay here again when in Birmingham.

We stayed at the Hilton because of the location and a very good discount rate. You can tell this was once very nice, but it now needs a lot of work. The decor is from the 90s, with worn carpet in the halls and typical older furnishings. Throughout the entire stay we got the impression everything was being done on the "cheap". Of the two elevators only one worked, and it made a strange grinding noise every time it passed the second floor on the way down. We talked with a couple that had it t... Read more

Front desk clerk provided poor information that reduced the quality of stay. Told breakfast was only free for diamond but that was later rebutted by other staff. Seems that the night shift was off the mark in customer service. Could have stayed at a standard chain for better benefits and equal quality of accommodations.

I purchased a room online a couple of month early for a decent price. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and quiet. I enjoyed my stay and was able to relax. My criticism was that it was a little hard to find. It's easily accessible off of the interstate, but once I turned into the "office park" where it is located, I passed it twice before I finally saw it.

I can only recall one other Hilton that was worse than this one...and it was scheduled to be torn down in a month (Seriously). While clean, this place is dated. There are no modern conveniences (outside of keyless entry via app). Furniture/décor is from the 90s. There are NO PLUGS AT THE BEDSIDE! The Executive lounge on the first floor is a joke. There appears to be only one working elevator. My room was large, but that may be because there was a bed, small desk and a chair in the corner. There... Read more

Don't stay here. Stay at the Marriott across the street. I decided to give this Hilton a second chance after I stayed here two months ago. I will not return. The rooms are extremely outdated and dirty. Have a musty smell. The bathtub and shower are horrible. The tub needs to be resurfaced and when you get a shower and you get a bath at the same time because the water does not drain. My hotel window is extremely dirty and can see the roof top overhang falling apart. The front desk employees are ... Read more

For the cost of this hotel, which most Hilton Hotels seem a little over the top on cost, Don't waste your money, this hotel used to be very nice, today it is outdated, over priced, and needs a complete overhaul. The condition of the room I stayed in was sad..AC was not cooling, smoke detector had been tampered with, room was damp and smelled moldy, bathrooms were old, there was no hot water, and the internet was very slow.

Normally I love staying at Hilton hotels. They are usually consistently good and comfortable for a short business trip. However, this one obviously needs a refurbishment, especially the air conditioning unit. The airconditioner was extremely loud and had a rattle. It woke me up every time it turned on and off. I had a terrible nights sleep. Also the bathroom needs upgrading. The counter on the sink is too small to hold toiletries, and, again, the fan was very noisy so I couldn't hear to th... Read more

I'm currently staying at this hotel and things have been a disaster. Rooms were not ready at check-in, it's currently been 40 minutes to receive towels for my room, and the staff has been completely dismissive of my concerns. Interesting Place lot of the interior is worn and should be replaced but it's clean and feels good , I know that sounds weird but I like this Hotel great staff , nice big TV fast internet and a good bed !! Breakfast selection was a huge disappointment for Hilton standards

Although cheaper than most Hilton Hotels, the quality was up to the other Hilton Hotels where I have stayed. It was convenient to the entire Birmingham area. The people at reception were usually welcoming.

The staff was excellent and the room very comfortable. The only problem was initially the tv had no sound but reported it and staff was friendly and said she would send someone from maintenance. He quickly showed up and fixed the tv and worked great after that. The second problem was the shower curtain and curtain rod. Rod looked slightly bent and during shower use the curtain would slide from both ends to the center and got floor wet.

Enjoyed my stay. Great hotel. The staff was excellent and we had a wonderful breakfast. The hotel is beautiful and the room was very comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and places to shop.

The staff here are great, the rates are reasonable, and the location is perfect. But this place really, really needs a remodel. It's showing its age, with wallpaper starting to peel and outdated carpets and furniture. The air conditioning in my room made a funny noise all night long, sort of like the sound of water running though a half-full pipe, sort of gurgling and hissing. Turning off the A/C had no effect.

A horrific experience at this Hilton property will keep me away forever: no food or beverages at the Hilton Honors Lounge due to low occupancy rate around the holidays, I found a hair on my breakfast pastry, no hot breakfast available, rude and unapologetic staff, and a waitress who asked if I had brought my own tea bags for my breakfast tea or whether I would need one?!

Room was great. Fitness center equipment all worked. Distinct odor in the lobby and on the 8th floor in the hallway--found that interested and distasteful. Other than that though everything was par. Staff was great.
