I have stayed in this hotel several times and have not had any problems. The staff is always nice. I have eaten in the resturant inside the hotel once and the food was great. The free breakfast in the morning is also very good. The rooms are a great value and there is no charge for parking.

I generally like Embassy Suites, but this one is lacking. First of all, there is no room with a view of the Galleria. Our "view" consisted of an alley with a dumpster. The Galleria is down the street, not in sight. The sofa and chairs in the hotel room were quite uncomfortable and there were no throw pillows to soften the discomfort. I recommend avoiding the cooked to order omelets in the morning. The ingredients were drenched in Cooking Spray and egg was sparingly added. The last evening we wer... Read more

The first indicator of what was to come was how nasty the luggage cart was. We checked into a room & the carpet was stained & the couch was horribly stained. We went into the bathroom & there was hair on the floor, dirt on the floor & the toilet had hair on it as well. I began, as I always do, wiping down everything. When I opened the refrigerator we could not take anymore. There was not only hair in the refrigerator, but food stains. It was apparent that the room had NOT been cleaned. I called ... Read more

This hotel received higher ratings than a sister property in Homewood, AL. Glad I made the switch. Outstanding in every way. Clean, friendly service, good cooked breakfast. Happy hour snacks could be upgraded, but who could complain about free drinks? Less expensive than the other Embassy Suites. Easy drive from the airport and near malls/restaurants/FEDEX. I would recommend this hotel for singles, couples, families, business, conferences.

Everything aside from a very prolonged check-in period was excellent. There should have been more than 1 employee at the reception desk during normal check-in hours (e.g., 3 PM - 6 PM). The Managerâ??s reception was â??okayâ??...very noisy, loud. The bartender was quite good. Our room service dinner was quite good and the service was excellent. The room, bathroom, etc., were immaculate.

We are local and came in for a staycation on a rainy day. Just walking down the hall to our room was disgusting, trash like food, a tissue box, bottle caps, pieces of paper, piled up room service trays, a TOILET PLUNGER. The hall smelled like urine 1 this is the 3rd Floor. We were walking to the room with our toddlers and couldn't let them down on the floor. The bathroom walls and doors were dirty. Check in was quick, the staff we encountered were nice and helpful. Parking was okay even with functions going on at the hotel. The included breakfast buffet was better than what you would expect for "included" in the price. There was a made to order option but when we came down there was a line and we were happy with the selection on the buffet. The room was clean and comfy. The room was clean but lacked extra bedding for hide a bed and not enough linens. The pool was cloudy and uninviting. The restaurant staff and bar staff were excellent but definitely not enough seating for happy hour. Check in was rushed as understaffed. This was not our usual experience at an Embassy Suite.

We stay in Embassy Suitesa lot when we travel. Most of them have been a great experience. This on we no exception as fas as service and amenities and the free parking was a plus. However, it's time that Hilton spent some time to refurbish the rooms. The furniture is really starting to look "used". Not up to the standard we have come to expect.

I stayed here for a night on business as I have been wanting to try this hotel. I have stayed at Embassy before and like the concept. This property was newer and the rooms were nice. I felt the quality was there. The property has its own bar/restaurant compared to Ruth Chris or someone else. The restaurant experience was abysmal. One evening; no waiter. The bartender had to take the order and deliver the food. Took forever. 2nd evening, there was a waiter who, in my opinion, deliberately ignored us. Both evenings I had to search out and get menus as no one was providing service. Staying here is alright; just don't eat here. Food is good but the service is the worst you can imagine.

Hotel is decent with nice amenities, services, and rooms. However, almost the entire staff acted as if it was a complete bother to do anything for the guests. I like staying here as is a little different than the typical embassy. No atrium - and breakfast area has only 2 hot plates for omelets in the morning. The rooms are awesome and have a double entry to bathroom from both sides of the suite. Love the layout of the rooms. So much space!!

Stayed here for business. I was pleasantly surprised. Suite was clean, spacious and beautiful. Hotel staff is extremely friendly. Free breakfast and happy hour in the evenings. Good food! Close to stores, but difficult to walk anywhere since there are no sidewalks. Hotel shuttle or cab suggested.

This Hotel offers some services which you would not expect, which was a very nice surprise. For example they offer a complementary shuttle service to the Riverchase Mall or just to go out for dinner, incl. return pick up. The breakfast is of course not a 5 star breakfast, but absolutely ok. No plastic tableware and even a "cook to order" counter. The rooms are clean and spacious, but it´s about time to start exchanging the furniture and also the carpets in the rooms. They look a little bit worn... Read more

This is the best Embassy Suites I have visited in a while. The location is ideal if shopping and/or dining in the Hoover/Pelham area. Also, the manager's reception is also top-notch. This is my choice location when I visit Birmingham!

We were going to parent's weekend at U of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. The town was fully booked. So we stayed in Birmingham Hoover, as we have done in the past. There is shopping and dining nearby and our family is happy there. We like the hotel's location and since we're never sure how many of us will actually come, it's nice to have the extra space with Embassy Suites.

The property is in a great location - close to many businesses and activities. Staff members are friendly and helpful. The room did not have a clean "feel." One needs a tutor to operate the air conditioning properly.

Poor customer service with check-in and unsafe conditions. Unable to close door, no phone, and dirty room. I will never stay at this Hilton again. The only commendable employee is Rashad, who attempted to provide excellent customer service, despite a deficient manager on duty

We felt very welcomed and enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and the employees were very courteous. The hotel is located in a good shopping area and has plenty of choices of restaurants. I felt very secure and there was good lighting all around the outside of the building. I would recommend this hotel to others who want to relax and enjoy their time while staying at the hotel.

When I was given a smoking room instead of the booked non-smoking room the staff handed me a bottle of deoderent and said they won't move me. The couch was burnt from cigerets and the smoked was impeded in the room. WORST SERVICE IN AMERICA

The property was very clean and the staff was very helpful. It is very close to a great mall and restaurants. For large groups, the internet was not reliable however the Wi-Fi in the suites worked just fine. A good value for the money.

A one night stay as a midway point during a long and tiring trip, we felt warm customer service from check-in to check-out. This Embassy allowed me to pick my room prior to arrival as an HHONORS member. We stayed in an Executive King Suites which had a kitchenette, table with 2 chairs, living room, sleeper sofa, large bathroom with large shower, and a king-size bedroom. Everything was perfect, clean and comfortable. It's also located across the street from the Riverchase Galleria mall and man... Read more

What an excellent hotel. We've been to the Embassey suites in Charlotte, NC and was hoping that this hotel was the same. Yes, it was. My husband and I were there for a Nascar race at Talledega and a group of us stayed at this hotel, where everyone gathered. When we checked into our room we discovered that someone else was given our room, so upon reporting to the desk of the mix up,we were upgraded to another room on one of the upper floors. There is a laundry and they do have a hotel at 5 t... Read more

My wife and I stayed here when we went to Talladega for a NASCAR race. WOW! What a great stay. The staff was fantastic. The property was immaculate. And the location was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted something close enough to the track that we didn't have to drive hours to get there. But we also wanted to be near shopping, restaurants, and night life. This hotel fulfilled all of those requirements while being comfortable, clean, and friendly. My wife was 7 months pregnant at the ... Read more

This is a different layout from most Embassy Suites with a small den and bedroom. I think this is because the hotel was built up against a hill and they couldn't build the usual layout around the inside courtyard. The hotel is relatively new, clean and well kept. The staff is very good and people like James and Sherman make everyone feel at home as did the chefs at breakfast and our bartender. All very nice and friendly. We will certainly stay here again.

Stayed here three times over the last 4 years, twice for Iron Bowl weekend. For the price I think it is a great value in a good location. We have enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and evening reception. Plus our teenage son enjoys having the living room to himself so he can control his own TV.
