This chateau styled resort was a relaxing place to stay. The rooms are nicely appointed and the pools are relaxing. The staff is very pleasant, but not crawling with staff, which we actually like. We could come and go from the room and pool. Not too fussed out which we liked. Nice relaxing stay. The reason for the 4 rating-hot tubs could use a cleaning or resurfacing.

The Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Resort is an incredibly beautiful property, perfect for a business meeting or vacation. My room overlooked the pool deck and waterfall and the balcony was perfect for two. Room decor is classy and comforting. WiFi is free for rewards club members. I was attending a two-day business meeting at the hotel. I was impressed with the food served, the friendliness of the staff and temperature of the meeting rooms. The hotel is part of a resort community fu... Read more

My husband and I had a pleasant room on the 6th floor overlooking the pool area. Nice balcony to sit outside and enjoy the view. The bellman, Moderick, was extremely helpful and courteous. Check-in was average..person not terribly personable. Food was good, except the quick golf breakfast you can purchase (biscuit with egg & bacon). Terribly over priced: it cost us $24 for two biscuits, two cups of coffee plus tax and tip.....would not recommend. We did have the buffet once and it was very... Read more

simple facts, put me in group, but didn't give me group rate. I'm of the impression, you can have physical beauty, but if you have an ugly heart and spirit, you are ugly. (side note: Also requested room with no connecting door, without even asking, desk clerk said you've got your request of no connecting door... entered room... it had connecting door.) Long version about rate, we were attending a wedding here... made reservation thru web site since when I called the hotel, no one at hotel cou... Read more

My husband and I have started at Ross bridge on 3 different occasions. Most recently the weekend of May 14, 2016 for our anniversary. I can not relate to any negative experience folks have had in this amazing resort/hotel. During our recent stay the hot water was not working in our room (standard room with king size bed). Sure it was an inconvenience and it was our anniversary weekend so naturally we wanted to be frustrated about this... But things happen. We were patient as maintenance tried to... Read more

So peaceful. Such a great staff, especially the houseman who suggested a better way to pop our popcorn! Wish I knew his name. He deserves kudos! Yolanda, also great, at the front desk would know who I am talking about... We love the "new" colors. The rooms are so peaceful and soothing, now. Always a pleasure. Thanks to everyone for making our stays here always feel special.

I stayed here expecting good service. The staff at the front desk didn't even smile , as if we didn't matter. Drinks completely overpriced . Tables outside left with previous guest food. Service staff didn't even know where to direct me for ice? Poor experience. But great golf course and range

I recently stayed 3 days at the Renaissance Ross Bridge for a company seminar. The place is spotless, employees are extremely friendly, professional and thoughtful (especially Virginia - wait staff and Tom - bartender). I would and have recently recommended this Resort to all my family and friends. Thank you all at Ross Bridge for a wonderful experience. Joanne M. Goodwin

We visited Ross Bridge 2 years ago for the first time. My first visit was better than my current. First of all - they r still charging $10 a day for wifi???? If McDonalds can give it away so can a "luxury spa resort". Next, the thermostat. Do not b fooled by the setting. Everyone n our group said they had their rooms set on 65 (the lowest it would go) and the room was not that cool (and, no, we did not have our patio door open). The positives: the employees!!! Super nice, super friendly, supe... Read more

This is a very nice hotel with a lot of amenities. Pool is gorgeous with convenient snack bar, overpriced drinks but that's just a hotel for you. This hotel is not convenient to anything but most people are there to play golf and enjoy the spa which is wonderful!

After a long travel day with delays due to lightening and thunder storms, I was welcomed to the property by Arherm, a very professional young man working at the front desk. He sensed my weariness and check in was a breeze. My room was beautiful overlooking the golf course, clean, and very comfortable, just what I needed. This hotel is my first pick when I travel to Birmingham and I have not been disappointed time after time. Great job!!

What a true golf experience. The course was in great shape. The staff was extremely pleasant. both at the pro shop and the café. Although we only played golf and didn't stay at the facility, we were treated with the upmost friendly respect. Glad we stopped there on our trip through Alabama

Have been several times before- this is just the first time since I have been on trip advisor-at least 8 times in last 4 years and always are so happy with every part of our vacation. This is a true resort vacation. The staff is better than anywhere we have ever visited. They are doing something so right- happy employees everywhere you look. When we arrived, we were greeted by smiling faces- I am sorry I do not remeber the name of the lady who checked us in but she was so great! Kristina at Club... Read more

We celebrated my sons graduation at the Clubhouse Restaurant and it was amazing! The staff were the nicest people that we have encountered in a restaurant setting. The food was very good and affordable. We were well taken care of even with our large party. We appreciate all that they did to work with us to have such a memorable event! The chef even came out at one point to make sure we were happy. We can't say enough good things about how well we were taken care of!

We have stayed at Ross Bridge for the past 4 years this year we stayed for over a week because we are relocating. For a somewhat secluded resort there's a lot to do. The pool is always clean and fun. There are several food options. Now be warned the shop that has snacks closes very early and does not have a huge selection of snack foods. However there are soda/water machines located throughout the building. The spa is great however 3 out of the 4 years I've come it's been booked. I'm assuming yo... Read more

I stayed here back in December for a conference. I love the guestroom updates and the color selections throughout the property. The meeting space was modern and spacious and the meals at each event were very good. Enjoyed sitting out by the fire pits in the evening while drinking wine and networking with meeting attendees.

In town for four days for a ball tournament and we loved this hotel. Pool was an awesome escape when we weren't at the ball fields. Food was good, kinda expensive but for the convenience of it, it was worth it. They did s'mores outside for the kids and they enjoyed it. Staff is so welcoming and helpful and you can't go wrong staying here. Loved having a balcony overlooking the pool and terrace too.

We always enjoy this hotel. It's nice to have such a great experience in central Alabama. As always, the staff was very attentive and the property was very nice. Our room was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed drinks in the lounge and the awesome breakfast buffet at Brock's. Look forward to coming again!

This place was a very nice getaway with incredible views of the golf course the many fountains and the super cool pool that was heated. This is a comfortable place but a little secluded. The food was excellent so you actually didn't need to go to any offsite restaurants.
