Average Hampton Inn, quiet, no problems. Really enjoy the extra pillows as well as the soft & firm choices; beds were comfortable. Air conditioner was quiet and easy to adjust. Just my granddaughter and me and we felt safe at this location.

Location was great, right next to liquor store and a few restaurants as well as fast food spots, there's even a Walmart across the street. The breakfast was the worst ever it was never even full, the eggs were old, french toast was hard & cold, there was no fruit or syrup. The room was nice, spacious but a little dusty.

check in was slow there was only one agent during peak check in time and 4 people, two of which did not have a reservation. Everything else was great food for breakfast was terrific the hotel lobby is a little dark

This hotel is very clean and service is awesome! It's not in Birmingham however parking is free and there is nearby shops and restaurants; we mainly stay here because it's less than 15 minutes for us to visit our loved ones! Love coming back to a clean room and comfy place to lay our heads after a long day of visiting with family and friends when we are in the area.

Not a good stay at this hotel. It is really far from Birmingham. There are dated items in the room, ie chair, bed, dressers,... The bed was the saggiest bed I have ever had the unwanted pleasure of sleeping on. There absolutely no support from the box springs. The mattress was flimsily to wear you could not sit in the middle with out the sides raising up to fold you in. Air conditioner is very loud.

All hotels have rooms and accommodations but what makes or breaks a place is the service. For excellent service ask for Reagan as she is the best and second to none. She truly knows and understand customers first and service above and beyond.

I stay in Hampton's and HGI's almost every week but this hotel is about average for a Hampton. Room was clean and comfortable. My only issue was the breakfast on Thursday morning. A western omelette was OK but there was absolutely no meat to be had. No sausage patties or links, no bacon, no ham, none! Never in the hundreds of nights at any Hilton property was there no meat except by my choice on Friday during lent.

We had 6 rooms among our group. One said their room was a little musty smelling. The rest said their room was just fine. The breakfast was fairly good. The employees were friendly and nice. At six AM, I didn't see a to go breakfast I normally see in Hamptons, but it was Saturday morning. Those are pretty handy. One elevator wasn't working. I would have rated it 3.5 if that was an option. Average.

We are Hampton Inn regulars and spent one night here while on the road. This HI is very standard, clean room and public areas, adequate breakfast, etc. We were happy with our short time here and had no issues.

Very disappointing breakfast compared to other Hamptons I have stayed at. There are other far reasonable priced hotel chains around that offer the same amenities as received here. Staff attention to details was subpar. Throughout my stay, I never once noticed Ice water & lemon decanter filled with anything other than ice. Staff really needs to pay attention to details.

Booked 2 rooms here to try and accommodate my 81 yr. old wheelchair bound mom as well as the rest of the family on our trip to Tx. Even joined HH Honors to get a discount (a whole $5). Thought that because it was a Hilton property it would be above the rest. I was sadly mistaken. We pre-booked weeks ahead, I pre-checked in on their app, and even called 5 hours out from our original arrival time to let them know we would be late. Our room was available, but not prepared in any way. We arrived at ... Read more

We have stayed at Hampton Inns in several cities and usually are extremely impressed. This hotel was clean and we didn't have a bad stay, but it was not impressive. I never once spoke to a hotel employee. They just weren't overly friendly or didn't seem to have any desire to speak to anyone. We went down for breakfast the first day and we weren't even close to the end of breakfast time and they were pretty much out of food. I would say, while this stay was pleasant enough, it is not somewhe... Read more

I saw bad reviews on this hotel and ignored them much to my dismay. The hotel was very crowded and the swimming pool is not secured from outsiders. Unfortunately outsiders were swimming and we could not. The tubs did not drain properly. The complimentary breakfast was out of some food, particularly waffles when my son and grandchildren were up.

Stayed here as part of a two day driving trip. Hotel was nice and clean, easy to get to. Not a lot of places (0) to go nearby that you could walk to from hotel - something that would have been nice after a 14 hour drive. Nice staff and clean, well kept hotel.

The bed, bedding and towels are of a very cheap quality, the rooms don't have a fresh clean feeling the worst hotel stay I have had in years. We paid $125.00 @ military discounted rate, it more like a Motel 6 experience. Keep driving don't stop...... We only stayed due to the bad weather

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was comfortable and quiet. There were a couple nuances: the stopper thingy for the tub was broken, the t.v. volume was too low at times (highest volume setting was still inaudible), breakfast was so-so.

I stayed at this Hampton on a recent business trip to Alabama. My flight arrived early in the morning and I stopped by the hotel just by chance to see if a room was ready. Not only did they have a room ready, the person at the front desk was so friendly and nice, it was extremely refreshing. The hotel was your typical Hampton with breakfast in the morning and fresh coffee throughout the day. Rooms were nice with decent internet and flat screen tv's. A very nice stay in the south.

I was in a king suite which was extremely spacious and nice. Most of the hotel staff is pleasant. I would have given a 5 star rating but my issues with the hotel were not dealt with well. The toilet in room 204 ran all day and night. I asked to have it repaired on Thursday when I checked in. It was still running all night when I left on Monday after several reminders to the staff. This is still one of the better properties in the Bessemer area and is an excellent value for the price. However, the property is starting to have a decline in quality and this has been noticed by several co-workers also staying at this hotel. During my most recent stay, the check in process was unnecessarily slow. Elite benefits were not provided. The carpet is in desperate need of a shampoo, and the television in the room didn't work. The Hampton Inn room was clean, spacious, and fresh. The breakfast was perfect--tasty with a good selection of choices. We look for the Hampton sign, so we can stay in a hotel near the interstate.
