Great place to stay when picking up your son or daughter from Auburn University. Clean, nice rooms, close to highway and close to University. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

Made reservation directly with hotel. Went out of their way to make proper reservation. Very clean, very efficient staff, exceptional. Location near Auburn University airport and restaurants. Charge for breakfast but very good, well prepared and worth it.

I have been staying at this hotel since our first college visit to Auburn. Now that my daughter is a student at Auburn Univ. this is the only hotel I'll use. They are close enough to the campus to get there easily but far enough away that you don't get stuck in traffic all the time. On my last trip I mistakenly made a reservation at Auburn, NY hotel instead of Auburn, AL hotel. The people at the front desk couldn't have been nicer and the manager called the GM at the NY hotel to get my room can... Read more

Normally Hilton Garden Inn hotels are a step above the Hampton Inn brand, yet the Hampton Inn's always have coffee in the lobby. We saw this at several Hilton Garden sites across several states. We don't understand why such a basic service would be removed. After driving many hours it used to be nice to arrive at the hotel and enjoy a cup of hot coffee in the lobby. We also noticed no trash can was available near the front entrance of this location. In our bathroom, there were cracked floor til... Read more

The hotel was nice. It's served its purpose. However, for the price I would expect breakfast to be included. Not only was it not included comma but it was $10. That is ridiculous! We ended up eating at waffle house and IHOP. But that was not an expense we were expecting.

Very unprofessional staff, fitness center was so dirty, hotel was out of bottled water my entire 4 day stay, breakfast was sub-par. Wouldn't recommend this hotel for your visit to Auburn. There are better accommodations at the next exit.

Pros: Breakfast Location Cons: Pre-check-in Requests We stayed here one night during a quick stop in Auburn. Our request for a crib was acknowledged via phone and email a week in advance. Upon check-in, no crib was in the room. It took another visit to the front desk and 90 minutes for the crib to arrive. We were told they had no linen for the crib, so our infant slept on a beach towel. The room was fine, but shows its age. This HGI doesn't have the air mattresses like the others where you... If you book a room, be sure you call before you arrive to be sure you will get your room you booked because they won't guarantee it, and when you get there you may be surprised by being given a lesser room but not at a discount only at the lesser room rate, and only if you raise a stink will you be offered anything else.

Pros: Comfortable rooms; quiet Cons: A tray of food (from the night before via evening room service) was sitting on the table in front of the elevator at noon (checkout time). This tray should have been out of sight of guests by breakfast time. There is no excuse for this. A picture is attached. Also...I received a call in my room about 11:35, but there was no answer on the other end. On the surface the hotel is clean. There were a number of things in the room that were in need of repair from the foset in the bath coming off the wall, the AC unit casing coming apart. Felt the hotel was way over priced for the level of comfort and amenities it offered

Having stayed at this hotel in the past I was looking forward to another visit. Check in was quick although the clerk seemed a bit annoyed that I was changing the duration of my stay. I will give her the benefit of the doubt as I was tired and perhaps did not communicate the change the best. My room was clean and nicely adorned. I ate in the lobby and my meal (basic cheeseburger and fries) was good. The waiter was nice and attentive and I was happy with the experience. It appeared that i... Read more

Be sure to use your AARP rate if possible! This will also help save you lots of money (more than AAA) while staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. This was probably my best hotel experience I have ever had in Auburn, Alabama, and I have stayed at many hotels there over the years while going to the AU football games. Thank you, Hilton Garden Inn!

Hotel was a beautiful place to go. I had only experienced a small issue that resulted in finding candy wrappers under my supposedly cleaned and ready room as well as an extra remote and a jelly bean under my chair. I never saw a MOD during my stay and front desk was hard to keep at the desk when needed. But with that said I never caught her name but the breakfast staff had a awesome personality.

This is a fairly typical Garden Inn. Not my favorite in the Hilton family. The value for what you get when compared to Embassy Suites or Hampton Inns is lacking. I still don't get the cost that is charged for breakfast! The hotel has been maintained so so.. Hallways are showing some age.. All in all it is comfortable place to stay.

Nothing specialā?¦ Nice comfortable room and bed. The breakfast is the weak part of this Hilton brand. Hampton Inn offers a good breakfast that is included in your room rated. I'm just not pleased with the breakfast offerings vs the cost. When it was said and done my small ham and cheese omelet with bacon, toast (that I made) and some fruit cost me $14 with tip.

My kids and I stayed at this hotel while my son attended orientation at Auburn University. Each time anyone used the toilet I had to remove the back of it and remove the chain from the stopper so the toilet would stop running and be quiet. Our last night there we returned to our room filled with cigarette smoke which was coming out of the air conditioning vent in the bathroom. Because of that we had to change hotel rooms at 10pm. This is a smoke free facility...or was supposed to be.

When my wife and I checked into our room we had to wait for the front desk lady to decide to put her personal conversation on hold to help customers! When she finally assisted it was quick and to the point almost as if she was like why are you here! The black gentleman who worked the late shift was very nice! Too bad all the employees can't be like him! I have stayed at a lot of Hiltons and this was by far the worst experience! If all employees were like the one they would be set!

Great Staff-Rooms need some upgrading. Some rooms have inconsistent quality and furnishings as compared to rooms of the same quality. The bathrooms need to be repaired, new grout, towel racks fixed, etc. The hotel is not a bad hotel, it just needs some maintenance.

Stayed here the night before moving son into Auburn. This is my family's 3rd time staying here. I like the location in that it is quieter but still convenient to campus . There are still places to eat and shop just not as many as tiger town but again less congested which I prefer. Good clean rooms. Beds so comfortable and rooms had all the amenities we needed. Staff we're fantastic, good advice and guidance on area. Stayed on the hall next to interstate and never heard any trucks or car noise. Breakfast was fresh and cooked just as ordered. Pool is not big but worked great taking our Granddaughter for a swim. Needed cleaning with leave's in bottom but not nasty. Being move in weekend for Auburn University service staff needed a little slack. Will stay here again.

I don't like Garden Inns. Actually, it's one of the least choices in my wish list. I avoid them. No alternative in the area and yet, the people who work here made my stay very, very pleasant. Check in, breakfast, room service -I have rarely been treated so well. They deserve the maximum rating because they made this hotel look like it belonged to another brand.

I made an unplanned stop in Auburn for a night of sleep. As a Hilton HHonors member, I usually stay at one of their properties. I was greeted by Charity, she was pleasantly hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. Thank you Charity. The room was standard for a Garden Inn, not bad, but noticeable shortcomings. The bed was comfortable though. I certainly can't complain about the breakfast. Good job Auburn.

This property has everything you would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn, clean rooms, friendly and supportive staff. Although, I'm not certain I would return, I would rate this as the second most noisy room I've ever stayed in, first place is still held by a room facing the runway at LAX. My room, 308, is facing Interstate 85 and the road noise is high. Light sleepers and people who need or simply enjoy quiet will suffer here. Lots of road noise from I-85 if your room is on the Interstate side of the hotel. Otherwise, a convenient location if you don't mind the noise. Clean rooms, friendly staff with average accommodations. Breakfast, Grill Room and bar prices are very high for the area and out of line with similar accommodations. Overall, a bit of a high priced hotel for the value received.
