We have stayed here twice when visiting our college student at Auburn University on a busy college weekend - football, graduation. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. It's about 30 minutes away from Auburn, but they don't price gouge you like the hotels closer into Auburn.

Overnight business trip. Hampton provided a great place for rest and prep work before a full day of work. Nothing glitzy or extraordinary. Clean room and lobby. Nice continental breakfast. Stay in the odd numbered rooms for greater distance from the road.

Was a very nice experience and the staff were great!! The only negative was that the room did not have a refrigerator. At the cost of the room, I felt there should have been one. Other than that, the stay was very pleasant.

We stayed here three nights during our trip. All of the staff were very friendly!! Breakfast was as expected- nothing great but convenient and decent and the coffee was good. Bed was comfortable. The only negative is the carpet looked like it needs cleaning and there was soap left in the shower in my room from the previous occupant.

Hotel was conveniently located to the Charles Bailey ballpark at Alexander City. However, our hotel room smelt like mildew. We are a family of four and was told when we made reservations this was a kind bed with sleeper sofa room. It only had a kind bed. Only had 3 washcloths at checkin and was told there was no more available because hotel was sold out. The next night we had NO washcloths and was told NONE would be available until 9am. Garbage in the room was never emptied by housekeeping. Ther... Read more

Breakfast was ever. Terrible room service for cleaning and replacing towels. Never came in to take trash out, not even once during our 4 night stay. Had to go get our own towels and washcloths if we needed them

Great location. Safe area. Easy to find. Extremely clean. Comfy bed. Quiet night. Amazing breakfast. Small coffee in room was a nice plus!! Cookies and coffee were always available in the lobby as well. Internet was fast and easy to use. I was extremely happy with my stay! Felt very safe and slept like a baby!

Staff were not overly helpful. Doing renovations, yet the rooms already renovated have been done poorly. Would not be choice for another stay. Breakfast was as expected with all the usual foods. Pool is small.

My family booked 2 rooms at this Hampton Inn. We often stay at Hampton and are usually very satisfied. However, we had several problems with this one. First, when we arrived (in July- very hot) the AC was not working in the common areas and there was no assurance from the staff that it would be repaired any time soon. In fact it was still not in normal working condition when we left 4 days later. Second, my smoke alarm began beeping at 12;00 midnight, I reset it and it started again at 3:00 AM. ... Read more

This Hampton Inn was managed by one of the nicest and most welcoming people I have ever met. Laurie Moon is an asset and should be commended for a job well done. She went above and beyond to accommodate our family during the death of a family member.

The front desk clerk was extremely rude. I have family that lives in this area so I visit a lot but I definitely won't be staying here again as long as she works there. Still best option in town. Sadly.

Everyone on staff greeted us with a smile and asked if they could help in any way...great team from check-in and throughout our stay. The hotel was centrally located and provided us access to area attractions...when in town, we will certainly look to stay with them again.

The hotel was easy to find. The lobby area is very nice. Small but clean pool. Not much for sitting area. The check in was nice. I got a king on the 1st floor. No fridges in these FYI. Bath was large but shower was moldy in several areas. Bed was comfy and air worked well. Went geocaching across the street at a large park. Very enjoyable. Breakfast was typical Hampton. I would stay here again.

Pro's: The staff is nice and the hotel is easy to locate next to the Russell Brand Store. They have a pool, business room, work out areas, and the walls are thick enough I couldn't hear my neighbors considering how tired I was after doing a day at work. If you eat breakfast go straight for the waffle Iron that the best thing to eat in their breakfast. Con's: TV was poor quality with generic cable channels Breakfast was pretty generic with no custom touches or anything special to speak of. Ma... Read more

We checked in for a three day stay at 3pm. The desk clerk was going outside as I came in She kept right on going. I went up to the desk and finally another clerk came but asked me where was clerk #1. He obviously was unhappy with her....and so our stay started. Got a 3rd floor room. Curtain rod broke and ice machine on floor broke. When reporting this we were told machine NOT broke, just doesn't dispense ice. The carpeted basemold had small nails sticking out of it not just in our room but in th... Read more

Arrived at the hotel around 1:15 AM. Doors were locked but the night attendant opened up right away. He appeared to be a custodian and attendant, but he knew how to check us in promptly. The lobby area was a bit smaller than most Hilton Garden Inns, but was nice. Breakfast was free and very tasty for your basic free breakfast. The lady cooking knew how to make the eggs and sausage delicious. At one point I came down to the counter on Sunday early afternoon and no one was at the counter....... Read more

Stayed here on business for 2 nights. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The room I was in was recently updated and spacious. The bed was average, a little on the firm side but comfortable enough. The pillows were pretty soft but seemed to be in good condition. The wifi and wired Internet in the rooms were pretty good and I was able to do the work I needed to with no issues. The cable went out the first night but by the time I called the front desk she apologized for the issue ... Read more

My review of this hotel is poor. They lost reservations, checked us out 2 days early. Charged guests with the same rooms and same visit; different prices. Rooms dirty, reservations cancelled. Rooms were comparable, some with the same prices had refrigerators and microwaves others did not. No explanation was given. Drawers had crumbs in them, shower floors were dirty. Only one manager could seem to solve any problems but when she was not there, everything went down hill. This was a wedding... Read more

I thought that my stay at Hampton Inn was nice. I was annoyed at the wireless internet connection. I needed it for my job. It was an inconvenience not having it. It took forever for Hampton Inn to get someone to come out to fix the problem.

Great Hampton Inn - warm cookies were waiting on us upon arrival. Everything was clean and the room was quiet and comfortable. We had a great check in experience and the free hot breakfast was tasty. Would recommend.

Front desk clerk (Derek) was not awake and it took 10-15x rings on the doorbell before we were let in the hotel at 2AM. My reservation had been thrown in the trash and I was told I could not use my reward points. I would have to use my credit card. Totally unacceptable! Especially after driving 15 hours with a 2 and a 3 year-old.
