When you see cats all mangled up at a resort it's because the rats are bigger. Got bit here & management did nothing. Police could care less and added a cover up. 500 $ with insurance. Done with St. Thomas, will stick with BVI. Wasted Scuba trip with Rat bite on foot.

We were very happy with the resort. The grounds and views were beautiful and we particularly loved our view of the ocean. The staff were swift and pleasant. All in all a great stay. My only observation that was negative I suppose was that the kitchen, although functional, was outdated for a 4 star resort. I would recommend this property.

First of all, this is a condo owner resort. Rooms are decorated individually and some are updated----some are not. That being said, ours was D-11 (one bedroom), it was updated, and the view was outstanding! The bed left a lot to be desired, but we somehow slept all night! Room D-15 view may be even more panoramic! We booked through Trip Advisor which sent us over to When you use third parties to book, you get luck (or unluck) of the draw for room/view. We were sent a confirmati... Read more

It's really something to wake up to this view. It seems like a totally different planet! The staff was fantastic, always friendly and willing to help. They even made a few phone calls to bail us out of a pinch when our parasailing excursion didn't make. From the very beginning they helped us schedule trips, and were clear with billing and payments too. The natural beauty of the resort is fantastic. Shoreline Restaurant was such good eats!! I wore my resort bracelet back home, would Willie... Read more

My girlfriend and I visited St. Thomas for the first time two weeks ago. It was a fantastic trip made all the better by staying at Point Pleasant. We have never finished a vacation feeling so refreshed and rejuvenated. The staff was helpful in navigating St. Thomas and the surround island - as will as understanding some local cultural nuances. Slate and Luis at the Shoreline Grill were especially kind and welcoming improving our stay exponentially! We plan to return within the next 6-8 month... Read more

My room was on the top floor facing the ocean. The view was so beautiful. I could see surrounding islands and mountainside homes as well. There is a very small private beach for guests. The entire property is hilly and rugged and has many nature trails with lush vegetation. It is not a great place for anyone with mobility problems. Fortunately, there is free shuttle bus service, that consist mainly of golf carts. This free service runs until 7:45 pm each day and brings you to the hotel lobby o... Read more

My husband and I stayed at Point Pleasant this past June. Our villa was beautiful and the view was amazing. We spent our time relaxing and this was the perfect place to do it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service they provide is a major plus and we didn't have to rent a car. Also the beachside bar was such a fun neat place to eat and have drinks at the bar. We would definitely stay here again. Our son found this resort thru trip advisor and the reviews were right. My family and I had such a lovely stay at Point Pleasant Resort. The property itself is well located and offers stunning views of the island. We could not have been more impressed with the front desk staff as a whole, specifically Luis and Slate who went out of their way to ensure our stay was a truly memorable experience. They were both diligent about ensuring all of our questions were answered, in addition to being incredibly welcoming and extremely thoughtful. We were also impressed with the ... Read more

This was a pleasant staycation for my husband and I. I enjoyed the view the most and the trade winds made the most of a well needed nap. You'll have everything you need here at Blue Dreams Villa (D-30) and its conveniently located steps away from the on property spa (Point wellness Spa).

Pulled into one of the most AMAZING and Beautiful places in the world! This resort has views of the ocean to DIE FOR! I was greeted with Rum Punch complimentary 24/7. On top of that a bottle of Prosecco for my fiancee's bday! I didn't like first room they put me in so they upgraded me to a bigger and better room it was more like a Villa! Staff was very helpful on where to go, what to do, best dining and more! Will definitely stay here again and will be back!

Our stay at the resort was absolutely wonderful. The location was beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful and efficient and the price was reasonable compared to a lot of other places around the island. I just wish they had more dining choices than the Shoreline grill, which was a very charming little place right by the ocean. I will definitely stay at this resort again next time. Highly recommend the future visitors to stock up on the grocery as soon as you get to the VIs and make at least s... Read more

Unit B-25...Many of these are all individually owned condos, mine was beautiful - so choose carefully. Each could be completely different in terms of location on the property, view, and finishes, although whole area is very nice, safe, and close to everything. Our unit had a king size bed that could be closed off to living space, the deck had a gorgeous view with wrap around, plenty of seating for our family of 5 (3 in their 20s). The bathroom had a gorgeous stone shower (indoors), and kitchen w... Read more

- Great views -- stayed in the D building - Good beaches to walk (one was ~.7 miles) to - Quiet (mostly; an adjacent property seemed to have a large generator-sounding thing running 24/7 - Friendly staff - Speedy wifi - Shuttles around the resort were mostly convenient, but often frustratingly slow to arrive. Not staff's fault, just a big, steep property What I'd do differently: - I'd rent a car; I spent way too much on taxis - Do a bigger shopping trip at the grocery upon arrival; food onsite... My husband and I went to St Thomas for our 15 year anniversary. We had such a wonderful experience at Point Pleasant Resort. The view was absolutely stunning from the wrap around deck. All of the employees were extremely friendly. The bar tender, Luis was amazing! His drinks were the best on the island and he made sure you were always taken care of. I just returned from an amazing trip to St. Thomas and had a fantastic experience with Point Pleasant. I was there with my best friend for a much needed girl's trip. We were welcomed in the lobby with rum punch before being taken to our beautiful villa. We stayed in one of the hilltop units and the view was absolutely spectacular. The stairs could be a problem if you have mobility issues although the shuttle service was always prompt so we never had an issue. Breakfast was included at the Shor... Read more

What an amazing week! The location is perfect. The staff are so courteous and engaging. Free shuttles up & down the resort, which is needed on occasion since the resort is literally carved out of a cliff side. We did enjoy the challenge of walking off our meals. The waterside grill serves surprisingly good food. Our stay included a free breakfast which was a real made to order breakfast, not huge portions but big enough. We walked next door to the Margarita resort a couple of times. But... Read more

My husband and I spent five nights and four days at Point Pleasant Resort and loved the experience. Now, I want to start off by saying, if you are looking for a resort with fancy restaurants, nightly activities, etc., this is not the right place for you. My husband and I prefer privacy and time to ourselves on vacation, so Point Pleasant was perfect for us. We stayed in room D35, which is at the very, very hilltop point. It's a bit of a trek to get to the top of the hill, but the view from our ... Read more

Situated on a cliff so the views are just great. Really nice, though walking around is a haul! To go off site the shuttle will take you places but to schedule your own sightseeing and to have freedom to explore you'll want a rental car. Anyone can come to Point Pleasant. All beaches on St. Thomas are free, and in fact Point Pleasant advertises adjacent beaches as being theirs, such as Pineapple Beach. So as nice as it is to go to adjacent beaches, remember other beach-goers can also come to ... Read more

We stayed closest to the water as we have a couple mobility issues. There is a great free cooked breakfast included. But you need to manage 32 steps down to the restaurant at waters edge. Sitting at Breakfast you'll see Tarpon cruising in the water. Great chef here. Good Food. Best view rooms are at the top of the hill and they have free shuttles around resort. Very nice pools (3). Very pleasant stay but NOT for handicapped or those who hate stairs.

Point Pleasant has been our "crash" spot, having stayed 7 times in 6 units over the past 10 years. There are two options for staying here, either renting through the rental management company or directly from an owner on VRBO. We have done both, and there are pros and cons of each. Renting with the resort plan means you get a full breakfast at the waterside cafe, use of kayaks and other such equipment, and transportation on the East End plus weekly excursions to Magen's Bay beach. This convenien... Read more
